i was thinking about petard urinal targets
i question the assumption that the 15% margin continues to be the same for sam's while sales have fallen 40% MOM. there are fixed costs to consider. a significant portion of overhead for a retail operation are fixed, not variable. just because sales go down, doesnt mean your margins stay the same. i think it is dangerous to assume sam's is even profitable right now.

there is a big difference between bashing and high quality humor at petard's expense
i vote for a shareholders' meeting at petard's house
some people dont know what they dont know, but they are willing to blame that on you rather than take responsibility and accountability for it.
Thanks for the effort, HOG
oh now THAT will be deleted!
at this point, i get the impression they dont care
thanks countmein/e
pursuing business in the middle east is an excellent strategy, we just dont have proof that they have managed to land any business at this stage. that is the point i have been trying to hammer home today. if anyone doesnt understand that by now they are choosing to ignore that reality.
it would seem a multiple of 5 or 6 is more in line. even with a "growth" stock.
i think gary has been busy covering that story about elvis and princess di's two headed love child in a root cellar near anchorage
thanks. good answer. that's about what i expected using common sense. i hope i dont get banned for that ;)
so a 20 or 30 multiple on concrete sales is excessive. a 3 year, $20mm contract has a NPV of about $18mm at 15% discount rate, or about .03 per share, if my cocktail napkin figures are correct.
does anyone here have their CFA? i don't so this is an honest question: when valuing a company, are the revenues from a one-time large contract discounted deeper than cashflows from "regular" operations? logically it would seem to me that a windfall contract would not have the same value as a steady stream.
any intelligent input is appreciated.
how is buying at .17 and selling at .022 making you money?
"...sljb is a ATM if you know how to play it.imo"
sounds like you forgot your PIN number. LOL
bill, to what "good news" are you referring? heresay is not news
hey, that was high quality humor
where did you get this information?
petar is a cunning linguist
maybe you need to upgrade from fingers and toes to an abacus
yeah, while devries smoked the houka with them
camel shows nightly
one hump or two?
"you and me, baby, we aint nuthin but mammals;
so let's do it like they do on a dromedary camel."
because petard SAID SO. his word is gold
he's just shy
dude, you are a cpa. you should be looking for verification, too. nothing anyone says means anything here until we get confirmation of the truth from the company and verified from an outside source. we cant believe anything they say until that happens. that isnt being negative, thats being realistic.
yeah. we can HOPE they are trying to fix it, but it would be foolish to BET on it.
i think the point he was trying to make is that message boards are valueless for DD. we dont know each other, we have no way of validating anyone's posts. we dont know who is posting here. caution is common sense. anyone who bases investment decisions on what a message board poster states is a moron. period.
hell, we cant even beleive company PRs
the answers to the questions need to be specific and quantifiable. so far the company has yet to put out a PR that meets those criteria. i would be happy if this were the day petard decided to be above board, but i doubt it.
we need data that can be verified. dates, dollar amounts, contact information, and audited financials (or the exact reason they cant be produced). what is so difficult to understand? why would i "SPIN" the truth? i'm a pissed off shareholder and i refuse to take their crap anymore. find a logical reason to argue against me or iggy me. i dont care.
here are some ways they can be played:
1) "no comment" 40 times
2) "i'm sorry, steve was called away" 3 minutes into the call and petard taking over alone
3) more blatant lies from petard
4) all of the above
so far. my breakeven is .025.
yes, it is odd, irregular, and i think HOG and Airys are being played. time will tell
they would like to redefine it, but they are waiting for the auditor report from the moon
or "Former Sulja CEO Petard Vucieveivieibieich States: ' I don't look good in stripes"
i'm sure it will be titled "Sulja Management Formidable Against Shareholders Who Want a Reasoned Response"
ask petar which of our nicknames for him he likes best.
hope is not an investment strategy
