Anyone know when we might expect to see thier earnings reported??
Bayonet......those are the ones you are suppose to short.
Anyone know when earnings will be out.
Last I heard it the 13th or 14th????
Dozer,
Looks like we all are eating "humble pie" before we can have our steak and TV.
Marketman I agree with that. I took a hosing on this last year. Wasted 12 mos. and $60k. Total scam. Of all the companies out there why anyone would think this shows promise evades me. Where was Steve when Petar was breaking the law? This is just a show.
BillyC.........I'm here long and strong haven't sold a share. I would buy more but ran out of money still have enough shares that I won't have to work once it gets to $15.00
I don't get it? What is the attraction? A lumber yard that has been in business 20 years. Tell me where the upside comes from. What is there that is going to make this company grow?
Good question.??
No not more news. Everytime news comes out price goes down.
You only have to look as far as this stock for comparison. Not touting EVST but this stock last night announced a share offering almost identical to DKAM and the two companies are known for iconic branding and diverse offering. The composition of both companies is virtually identical. The big difference between the two is EVST's registration statement accounts for a 40% dilution off their offering, far higher than DKAM. If I were you and in DKAM I would be hopping mad that this stock is this cheap. EVST investors see no problem with the offering as it is a cost of doing business. The stock sits near its 52 week high. DKAM continues to defy all the odds of not going higher.
Referring back to this Lisa Springer. Nice to see she corrected the errant earnings dates from yesterday. More important, people still are overlooking the real lack of value in her comments. When she wrote that report in October she had no concept of the company's expected success of Trump other than the comments of the CEO. She also had no concept of the "new project bigger than Trump" the CEO is working on. Her target is based on Trump sand trump alone. That is all she had 6 months ago.
So what of the CEO's comments "project as big as Trump"? Is it bigger than The Donald? Is it bigger than the Vodka? Is it bigger than 150000 cases the first year? Is it bigger than getting bought out for $2.3 billion? Is it bigger than 20 cents a share earnings in the next year? It has to be one of these because CEO's are not concerned with "bigness" of personalitys. They are concerned with sales and buyouts from icon alignment. Lisa Springer had no idea of another project coming out. That is material information the public did not have. Just remember that going forward. As big as Trump in any fashion commands at least twice the value of the company of what it is right now. Lisa Springer needs to go back to work!
Right on Neb.We just chip away at it one day at a time and soon enough people will catch on.
Here is more justification that DKAM has a valuation far beyond its current price. Someone brought up 42 Below and you should read what happened and how quickly it happened especially this part,
"The company’s original product is the country’s only super premium vodka 42 BELOW, a brand that is “unashamedly New Zealand”, says Mr Steel. “We have created the cleanest vodka because we have one of the purest water supplies in the world and we are the most awarded vodka in the world because of our pristine environment.” Operating on a shoestring budget and up against some big international brands, the small New Zealand company has had to be a bit maverick in order to make its mark in a very competitive market."
http://www.nzte.govt.nz/section/14606/16256.aspx
This is the Bacardi buyout information. It details the similarities of 42 Below to Grey Goose. Trump was compared to Grey Goose even before it was released.
http://www.drinks-business-review.com/article_feature.asp?guid=69EE4190-8A54-492F-80EC-3791ED59D4C6
Grey Goose $2.2 billion buyout; Absolut $5.7 billion buyout. 42 Below has limited distribution in the US in just a handful of states and Bacardi buys them out. The Trump name alone commands a premium in iconic branding all to itself that automatically makes it worth well more than a competing 42 Below. Grey Goose did 17000 cases the first year and only had 250000 cases being sold per year after four years into the sales cycle. Trump is already well above that. Exclusive of tariffs, shipping, and royalties, Trump only costs $17.438 per CASE Euro or $23.22 US to manufacture. DKAM pays Trump a $10 royalty per case. At an average of $108 US to sell each case in the US to distributors, it makes it more than inviting to a foreign beverage conglomerate to buy the company out and gain the rights to the Trump name. It also shows why global expansion now is so important as the margins per case jump dramatically. In their hip pocket, DKAM has the option to acquire the Wanders Distillery in Holland that makes Trump and other select brands, including recently introduced super premium vodka YES.
It is right there and should be "slap in the face" obvious to everyone. So many smaller companies are getting gobbled up by the big conglomerates. DKAM has Trump and ready to go global. They have Newmans and going nationwide. A company that buys DKAM picks up the obvious growth rate, they pick up the option to Wanders, they get the Trump name. A big boy company can streamline all the costs. A 30-35 PE is very adequate, so this Lisa Springer chick is way off again. Stock should be $6 minimum.
I am not impressed with Red Chips analysis of DKAM.
Seems odd that this analyst shows up with a follow up research note on DKAM. They cite the 1.40 original price target and say they would be a buyer on weakness. They also say they give the stock a 7 PE for Fiscal 2008 which starts next quarter. The average for the beverage sector is well over 20. Big growth always gets a higher PE than the sector. And what of this weakness? Red Chip is all about screaming their best return ever with DKAM and 491% returns on their web site. This analyst gave it a 1.40 target and it went to 3.58. I think she's too embarrassed to admit she missed it so far the first time. The market tried to give the stock a 20 PE for 2008 by going to $4. They appear to be covering their butts by saying to buy on any weakness as some think it would be any weakness under 1.40 while every one else thinks it is the weakness of 3.58 to where it is now. Net result either way is no matter where it is under 3.58 it is weakness. They could have had enough sense to raise the target IMO to justify buying on any weakness. Perhaps that comes later.
ORLANDO, Fla., March 22, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- RedChip Independent, a
division of RedChip Companies, announced today that they have initiated research
on Drinks Americas, Inc. (OTCBB:DKAM).
Lisa Springer, MBA, CFA, RedChip Research Analyst, wrote in the report:
"Drinks Americas is on-track to report substantial revenue gains and
significant progress towards profitability in fiscal 2007 as a result of the
launch of a new product, Trump Super Premium Vodka, which is also driving sales
of its other spirit products. The Company is also expanding distribution of its
Newman's Own beverages and extending the Newman's Own product line.
"For the third quarter ended January 31, 2006, Drinks Americas reported an 875
percent increase in revenues to $2.7 million from $0.3 million for the same
period last year. The January quarter was the first full quarter that included
sales from Trump Super Premium Vodka, which the Company launched in mid-October.
Trump Vodka is now available in 28 states. Over the last 100 days, the Company
has shipped 40,000 cases of Trump Vodka, generating sales of $4.3 million. Over
the next several weeks, Drinks Americas anticipates Trump Vodka will become
available in an additional 14 states.
"We initiated coverage of Drinks America shares in October 2006 with a Buy
rating and a $1.40 one year price target, based on a seven times multiple of
projected FY 2008 EPS. These shares are currently trading above our target
price, but we would be buyers on share price weakness."
RILO
Trump Vodka is now available in 43 states.
They are ill informed whoever they are.
Oh Bill give me a break
Looks like they are SLJBs sister company.Any Serbs or Abanians working there?
Who or what is ARCA?
Well said Billy......I may show up at your bar one of these days
Something I don't understand about this board in general is the constant scenarios about the future outcome for this company. If Petar and the Suljas have all this talent to bring in contracts etc. from the Middle East then why did they find it nessacary to lie about or embellish thier conquests?????
Simple deduction based upon thier performance over the last 12 months is that they posess none of the talent needed to grow this company. Someone please tell me what I am missing.??
Why would a savy business man resort to fraud to grow his company? The only answer is that perpetrating fraud is the pinacle of the mans abilities. Why anyone would think something positive about this companies future is beyond belief.
Boomer
great idea. always wondered if something like this is possible. nice shot at making money and busting someones chops at the same time.
i'm in if it is not too illeagle. lord knows i've lost a ton of money playing in this sewer.
Thanks Tz I went there on my lunch hour and bought 2 bottles. never thought of calling the distributor. I'll try and find out if any place closer.
Thanks again for your help.
rpt......drove down there on my lunch hour and bought 2 bottles. Stor mgr. said it has been selling well. not bad at $33.00 and change per bottle. Name of the store is Sweeneys pkg. store and it is next door to the Mews not across the street as I mentioned earlier.
rpt
Another person on the board told me it is available at the liquor store next to the Mews Tavern in Wakefield. little bit of a hike from Central Falls but worth it.
tonyz...........thanks I know exactly where it is. I'm going there now.
Tonyz is it the one on the on Main st that has the drive up window. Can't recall the name but its been there forever??
rpt
I live in RI and to my knowlege I have yet to find it in any liquor stores. Bars yes.
I understand the distributor in RI basically just sells Trump to the bar restaurant establishments. Go figure
Andromedus.........I bought this stock in March 06 when it was Loftwerks and followed it right up to 12/29/06 when I sold my 650,000 shares at quite a loss. Let me give you my take on this.
All I ever heard was Petars brilliance in negotiating global business deals in the ME. As i think back I never saw a shred of evidence to support this skill of his. Always waiting for some kind of stellar release that would corroborate his skills. It never came. Now wouldn't you think if he had this talent we would be at $10.00 by now instead of in a courtroom? He is a con artist and not very polished but managed to almost pull this off and there is great probability that he just might skate through this and drop from sight with the money that he stole. I just fail to see what you see? This companies stock will forever reside in penny land trading in fractions of a cent.
Prophet.........not true. They have more capacity than 150,000 cases. Check it out at thier site.
q-me-up I have been in this stock since March 06 and finally took my haircut on 12/29/06 to the tune of $62,000.
I read the board everyday all day. Nothing has changed the web site was a joke 6 months ago and nothing has changed. I see a lot of new names and very few of the old. I check in occasionaly hoping to see that the ringleaders are being prosecuted but it is unlikely much will happen.
These are crummy people who steal money on a wholesale basis and laugh all the way to the bank. I hope they all get cancer of the AH and die a slow death.
if you get involved with this POS you deserve what you are going to get and it won't be $$$$$.
I wonder what Stock H.O.G saw that turned him mute and what Airys sees that makes him so positive.
This pig is way overdone. Stick a fork in it.
Billy49
I guess the ''Dub'' doesn't know who he is talking to here??
FORD ring a bell.??
Stockjunky where did you get this information?? Please provide a link or some other source when you make this kind of a statement.
Put him on ignore. he's putting me to sleep.
I was told that Trump was given an undisclosed # of shares. Mgmt. is prepared for the day that he wants to sell and have made provisions to deal with that event. Also Trump will give all proceeds to charity.
Janice......I don't think Petar is any brain trust. For the last 6 months all I ever read about him was that he was the guy behind the scenes making complex deals in the global marketplace, he is so important to the companies growth blah blah blah. I don't recall ever seeing anything to support this charachterisation of him. Only remember the cement deals that were PRd but never materialised. Those deals were fiction as far as I am concerned. I think this message board repeated these accolades over and over to the point that people assumed it to be true. Petar won on that score, that was his only triumph.
julesg....message boards don't mean anything unless it bordered on terrorist threats or something like that and if it were 10 yrs. ago no one would have paid attention. These guys will skate right thru any proceedings and go right back to what they do best.
