In a single word, "OUCH"
Yes Lochute, this has been quite a trip. One that the New GPS (Global Positioning) cannot help us with but the Older and More Reliable GPS (God's Prayer Service) can guide us through.
Was hoping we would recieve some indication of what is happening in the court case from India. Most likely just another continuation. Oh well, someday..............
Even though we've gone down a little the volume is interesting. Maybe somethings up???
The 1,100,000 trade @ .0005 was mine as I try to average down finally. Here's hoping.
What I understand you to be saying Drifter, is that you were really sucked in by all the information that they were sending you. Kinda like you were being used and didn't know it right? Just wanting to clearify this.
About the time this first fell below .0007 someone posted that in order for the "Pipe" to take advantage of this the price had to stay below .0007 for a certain period of time. How long is that and any more information on this subject would be appreciated.
A Long Shareholder.
Count me in for support for any shareholder's actions either to force a meeting or class action lawsuit. Although I am hurting finacially due to my stupid investment in this stock, I will scrap together some money to help pay my share.
Come on XKEM shareholders, lets do something to let this "Pipe" know we demand to be treated fairly.
That big trade at .0018 makes me wonder if someone has some info on the court cases that we don't???
That one transaction of 1,500,000 makes me feel a lot better.
11 One of the patient ones waiting to be rewarded. LOL
Best possible reply to Outrageous, "Dog Gone"
Previous post, #2553 reminded me of this story.
Daddy's Empty Chair
A man's daughter had asked the local minister to come and pray with her father.
When the minister arrived, he found the man lying in bed with his head propped up on two pillows. An empty chair sat beside his bed. The minister assumed that the old fellow had been informed of his visit.
"I guess you were expecting me, he said.
'No, who are you?" said the father.
The minister told him his name and then remarked, "I saw the empty chair and I figured you knew I was going to show up."
"Oh yeah, the chair," said the bedridden man. "Would you mind closing the door?" Puzzled, the minister shut the door.
"I have never told anyone this, not even my daughter," said the man. "But all of my life I have never known how to pray." "At church I used to hear the pastor talk about prayer, but it went right over my head."
"I abandoned any attempt at prayer," the old man continued, "until one day four years ago, my best friend said to me, "Johnny, prayer is just a simple matter of having a conversation with Jesus." "Here is what I suggest," he said.
"Sit down in a chair; place an empty chair in front of you, and in faith see Jesus on the chair. It's not spooky because he promised, 'I will be with you always'." "Then just speak to him in the same way you're doing with me right now."
"So, I tried it and I've liked it so much that I do it a couple of hours every day. I'm careful though. If my daughter saw me talking to an empty chair, she'd either have a nervous breakdown or send me off to the funny farm."
The minister was deeply moved by the story and encouraged the old man to continue on the journey.
Then he prayed with him, anointed him with oil, and then returned to the church. Two nights later the daughter called to tell the minister that her daddy had died that afternoon.
Did he die in peace?" he asked.
”Yes, when I left the house about two o'clock, he called me over to his bedside, told me how much he loved me, and kissed me on the cheek.
When I got back from the store an hour later, I found him dead. There was something strange about his death. Apparently, just before Daddy died, he leaned over and rested his head on the chair beside the bed.
What do you make of that?"
The minister wiped a tear from his eye and said, "I wish we could all go like that."
Anyone else having trouble logging into "Scottrade"
Drifterfcrc feels we will not see much improvement until approx. next summer. Isn't it amazing that the investors who backed Basu in putting up the $7 Million or so, are being patient and not raising ****. This really makes me feel nervous as I am wondering Why they would be so patient. Any ideas?
What did you expect when you and others voted for "Big Oil's" Bush Jr.? You got a war and millions for Oil Company's pockets.
Saw this post on BKMP board and thought it was funny even if some figures are questionable the message is good.
If you had bought $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. With Enron, you would have $16.50 left of the original $1,000.00. With BKMP, you would have less than $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser (the beer, not the stock) one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the 10-cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.
What happened? Cannot believe this is just happening, must have halted trading for some reason.
I know the German exchanges, Berlin Frankfurt ect. don't necessarily relate to ours. However they are up significantly this A.M.

How time changes things. A year ago many of us thought that by this time we'd be in the "PINK" and now we are probably going to be "pinkies". Is this what the Dr. ordered? LOL
Thank you for a very informative and easily understood article explaining shareholder lack of power.
I just called the office in N.J. and of course Barbara knew nothing. Asking for somebody that does she said there was nobody there at present that would know when the 10Q would be filed. She took my name and number and said she would relay the message that shareholders like myself are quite concerned with what is going on and want some sort of an update. Supposedly she'll have someone call me. Will post if I get a call.
I do not see any extention notification, filing, nor an "E" after XKEM??? Do those three E's equal no good???
Look at the DJIA taking another big hit today.
Guess he told us! Somethings don't jive, between living in San Antonio with a hobby of snowboarding, his free membership, and the obvious differences of his message and signature I cannot say I fully understand him.
Sure hope to heck we don't frame the house in the order that you wrote in your last message. That would make one mess of the building. It would take more than your faith to redo it.
Weird. Bigdaddy and Mets have both in the last 24 hours or so posted that they hadn't renewed their membership here. Since they are reported to be our two biggest shareholders are we supposed to take up a collection for them or something?? Just wondering out loud.
I can find no mention of any kind of an "official event" for the one year anniversary. Has anyone seen any mention of a get together in Nigeria to mark this date?
I remember "BigDaddy" posting that he was going on a Vacation to Cuba this week.
I would be willing to contribute 200 shares of stock per year and have the proceeds used to provide treatment to those who could not afford it. If each of us did something like this it would be an added incentive for the company and Nigeria to do whatever they could to help improve the PPS. I would like for the company to also make some type of price reduction on medicine these shares buy. I would also be glad to do this on a percentage basis on the number of shares I hold.
I think this would be a win/win situation whereby the favorable reaction of the general public to both the company and the shareholders making this kind of commitment would be tremendous. I believe very shortly it would be a substantial amount and do a lot of good.
ABUJA, Nigeria — A reclusive former governor hand-picked by departing President Olusegun Obasanjo was sworn in as Nigeria's new leader Tuesday in the first transfer of power from one elected government to another in Africa's most populous country.
Umaru Yar'Adua, 56, took the oath of office before Chief Justice Idris Kutigi, pledging to uphold Nigeria's unity and pursue its best interests.
While Yar'Adua's inauguration marks a milestone in a country struggling to consolidate democracy after decades of military rule, he was elected in an April vote the opposition has denounced as fraudulent and international observers have said was not credible.
Earlier Tuesday, troops and police set up roadblocks and patrolled streets in volatile districts of Nigeria's biggest city, Lagos, saying opposition leaders would not be allowed to go ahead with a planned protest of the inauguration.
Police said a coalition of labor and civic groups did not obtain an official permit for the protests planned in Lagos.
Lanre Ehonwa of the Civil Liberties Organization, one of the civic groups supporting the protests, said the constitutional provision permitting public processions superseded a colonial law requiring police permits for rallies.
"We are going ahead with our protest rallies," Ehonwa said.
Yar'Adua, the 56-year-old scion of a storied political family, was chosen to lead the party ticket in April by Obasanjo, who was barred from another term by constitutional term limits after eight years in power.
On Tuesday, "a new generation of leaders will take over the great responsibility of running this great and diverse nation," Obasanjo said in a nationally televised farewell address Monday night. Obasanjo, though, remains a powerful figure in his party.
"Democracy is not a destination, it's a journey," said Obasanjo, whose 1999 election ended decades of near-constant military rule, including a particularly brutal 15-year phase that began in 1984. "We are well on our way to a greater destination."
Obasanjo said his restive nation of 250 ethnic groups and 140 million people, almost equally split between northern-based Muslims and southern Christians, had grown more united under his tenure.
While the end of repressive rule unleashed long-simmering conflict that has left 15,000 dead in political violence, Nigerians "are no longer divided along ethnic, tribal, religious lines or north-south divide," Obasanjo said.
"We have become simply Nigerians interested in the development and progress of our country. This is a great gain. Let us respect this spirit of oneness and unity in all that we do from now on."
Under civilian rule, Nigerians say they have gained freedoms and their country has shaken its reputation as an international pariah run by generals bent on looting the public coffers. Obasanjo has cleared the country's books of billions of dollars of debt wracked up by the military rulers and helped end at least two of West Africa's civil wars by sending troops to intervene.
But many Nigerians say graft has continued to flourish under Obasanjo and services such as electricity and water supply have degraded. The vast majority of the country's people live below the poverty line, while a largely corrupt political and business elite linked to Obasanjo has grown.
Armed struggle in the southern oil region of Africa's biggest crude producer by militants seeking more petroleum funds for the region has increased markedly in the past 18 months — handing Yar'Adua one of his most-nettlesome problems.
Obasanjo, a former military ruler who handed over power to a civilian regime in 1979, gave himself high marks as a civilian ruler, then wished his people farewell.
Nigeria has never seen power transferred from one civilian leader to another. All other attempts have been undermined by coups d'etat or annulments.
As the head of the ruling party, Obasanjo is expected to continue playing a top role in the country, as he has since he was a government commander during the country's 1967-1970 civil war.

Last weeks discussion on whether or not to send the e-mail that Foxwoodsfan had written was one of the most adult and fullfilling discussions I have seen on this board. Although there was some anger at times we seem to be able to work our way through that and come to a very reasonable compromise.
Hopefully we will be able to do this again if required whenever we have disagreements.
Proud to be a member of this board and a XKEM long.
WAG #20 Million: June 10, 2007 @ 11:02 P.M.
Totally agree with Lochute on holding this up until the meeting with "Mets". I don't believe this would help until after their meeting and in fact this would probably become a major part of their discussion as Pandey would have to defend his board and management of Xkem to the remarks in this letter.
Also I think the tone of the letter is too harsh overall. We have a right to question their treatment of us stockholders but this sounds like everything they are doing or have done is wrong. As mentioned, because we don't know what the actual conditions working in Nigeria is like, I really don't believe we should be this harsh.
If this is sent before the meeting with "Mets", please remove my identity.
2,585,000 here and holding very long.
I believe the confusion on closing price is due to the fact that the official close isn't at 4:00:00 EDT but it is at 4:00:59 EDT. Therefore any transaction up to 4:01 is counted. Therefore as posted by Nordic Viking in his post:
Not According to I-Hub
Time & Sales
Price Size Exch Time
t 0.035 35000 OBB 16:00:34

The closing price would officially be .035
Since last fall, the "News" of any type has not resulted in any lasting increase in our share price. It has been very disappointing to me that each bit of news that we anxiously awaited has had a slight increase that day, but not lasting more than a day.
This last loan approval was very typical. I look for mid-April for any lasting improvement. At that time with the elections taking place, and the yearly report coming out, I have hopes for lasting improvement in the share price. I have accumulated 2.4 mil. shares and am holding for long term, expecting to make it late this year or early next year.
This about kills any L.A. deal for UGHO. See below:
LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles police will soon be outfitted with a cutting edge flashlight that is not only brighter than others, but too small to be used as a weapon.
The idea for the 7060 LED flashlight was conceived just days after news cameras broadcast images of LAPD officers beating car-theft suspect Stanley Miller with a two-pound, two-foot long standard issue police flashlight.
Police Chief William Bratton banned the large flashlights after Miller's 2004 beating and called for manufacturers to create a smaller, brighter flashlight.
The new 10-inch, $100 flashlight was developed and manufactured by the Torrance-based company Pelican to meet LAPD specifications. It will feature both a standard "patrol mode" and an ultra-light "tactical mode" that is bright enough to temporarily blind suspects.
Bratton is scheduled to unveil the new flashlights Friday.
Ramona Ripston, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California, praised the LAPD for the equipment change.
"It's a really important step in the right direction, and it's going to make a difference in how the police department deals with the community," she said. "We've always felt that a flashlight was not an instrument to beat people with. This new one will serve the purpose it was intended to."
I have never seen XKEM go this long without a trade. Have any of the rest of you?
Is the "ask" only at .021 as shown on Scottrade streaming quotes??
