Have not been able to get into any sites of: Rare Element Resources. Is there some problem?
Correction: RER
There are lawyers who love cases where they feel the value offered by a company to the little investor is not realistic! These are class-action suits on behalf of the little investor. RSR has some value just from its gold deposits alone. (millions) All this is figured into the value of the share in a buyout. What is the value of a company who could refine rare elements for the larger mines of Canada. I remember two companies bidding for a desirable, smaller company in communications. The bidding war started at 50-60 dollars per share for a takeover bid. Lawyers ultimately brought the true value up to $170 per share. Obviously there is always a big fee for these lawyer groups to make and the bigger the company, the more desirable.
Where is this 95-page article found?
General Atomics does billions of dollars of work for the Defense Dept. and I don's see them not performing for even smaller projects such as RER. They also have been booted out of China, somewhat, and yet they need rare earth elements for their projects. Just wonder, if Trump wins, he has stated he would curtail many of the green energy projects. Maybe he will be more sensitive to big oil and to his Middle East buddies. Time always answers all of our questions.
It might be easier to know what to do in the trading of this stock if one knew what General Atomics' ultimate goal might be!
"China announced a new round of sanctions on Thursday targeting subsidiaries of the U.S. military contractors General Atomics and General Dynamics for their part in arming Taiwan. The latest measures ban the senior executives of General Atomics Aeronautical Systems and General Dynamics Land Systems from entering China, and freezes company assets in the country, according to a Chinese Foreign Ministry statement carried by state media." Newsweek, April 12, 2024. (Hope this stimulates General Atomics to get completely self-sufficient in their need for rare earth elements.)
This awakening of the stock is welcomed! Is it possibly associated with the tariffs threat that US is applying to China and the possibility of them using their rare earths as a weapon in retaliation? That has happened in the past and look at the price of the stocks of rare earths at that time. When will US get independent in something so vital and produce our own resources?
We need the decimal point moved one or two places after that 0.12! Why not wish for the moon?
Since Synchron owns 70.6% of shares, (I figured only 70%) that would make us little folks owning only 150,223,387. Doesn't make a big, big difference. We are still a minority. Mathematicians where are you?
IF my math is correct, it looks like Synchron holds 360,740,516 shares and the remaining 154,608,078 shares are owned by us little folks!
Be Happy with 5.
The Advantages: SEC not looking over your shoulder, discontent shareholders, legal action from investors and running your business with less interference! Need more?
Will the day come when Synchron (General Atomics) will desire to take company private as they are? If so, what might the 30% shares they do not own be worth? Lots of questions. As a big defense company and into magnets, it seems reasonable!
I have to admit, the manner in which these shares are offered and being processed makes me feel a bit uneasy. Seems that it should be done with more precision. Is this a first time for the executives in charge? Bring in skilled people to execute!
Thank you for being a shareholder in Rare Element and your inquiry into our information portal on the website.
You inquired about the commencement date for the Company’s planned rights offering. We are awaiting SEC review, and it has taken a bit longer than expected. Once received, we’ll put a press release out on the commencement so you will know it is underway. The offering is planned to remain open for about 21 days (to be confirmed in the commencement press release).
Thank you again for your interest in the company and the rights offering.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Kind Regards,
Kelli

A followup comment:
Uranium prices held at $106 in the second half of January, the highest since 2007, as mounting setbacks to supply coincided with increasing demand. Kazakhstan’s state-owned Kazatomprom, the world’s largest uranium producer, stated it would be unable to meet its production target for the next two years amid a shortage in inputs and construction issues. This added to Canadian Cameco’s outlook downgrade in September due to issues in key mines and uncertainty over French Orano’s output due to Niger’s military coup. Additionally, Western utilities continued to voluntarily shun Russian uranium imports due to its invasion of Ukraine, while the US moved closer to banning its imports. In the meantime, ambitious decarbonization goals drove the US and 20 other countries to announce that their nuclear power will be tripled by 2050. The large bets on nuclear energy are led by China, which is building 22 of 58 global reactors, while Japan restarted projects to increase nuclear power output.
Could the big increase in price of uranium and the current CEO having work experience in this area have something to do with a better offer for him in this field of mining? Just a thought!
How much incentive is there to buy stock at 12 cents when that is nearly its market price? I can readily see it is a good deal for General Atomics for they can virtually buy the company at a real discount price!
I was hoping that General Atomics would have some mercy on me, the little guy. Who knows?
No, but I am!
There appears to be some real storm clouds. Will the little guy be squeezed out?
Concentrating and supporting one goal, one idea, often leads to success!
Is there no life left in this stock and if so, Why?
To have all those dignitaries present, including a US senator and especially Neal Blue, head of a billion dollar plus revenue corporation, General Atomics, seemed to say to me, "we mean business and are moving on with the project." Let's hope so!! Thanks for your post, schnittke.
Appreciate having fellow informed stock holders to keep us posted.
What is a DA?
It seems the only news the investor gets is when someone is added to the payroll.
Once all the directors and officers were reelected, the stock prices would no doubt drop!! You fill in the blanks.
I found it interesting that when the Board was being reelected and the annual meeting was announced, the stock rallied up to 85c. After the annual meeting the floor seemed to drop out. Why? It's only my suspicious thoughts as to why!
Could my post of 7/22/22 have any validity?
In my portfolio, the Canadian mining stocks have been more consistent with price stability and growth. One of them replaced their CEO when the stock was not moving. Will see if that makes a difference. Canada also has wonderful hydroelectric power and a big history in mining. Time is always the answer, however!
Could my suspicion of 7/22 be correct or is the drop in price because the annual meeting had no new positive news? The drop is painful!
Is it possible that the stock is stronger and associated with all the directors being reelected in the nearby election? Sorry to be suspicious!
How should one vote? If you vote out the present group of directors would they be replaced with new blood and new action? Help me answer this question.
