This stock is still ~50% down from where I sold. We will see who will be right. Right now though I'm the one who's right on the money. Also it's obvious the new money will either be cancelled out by the cost of the 'investment' or was spent on it directly.
Balance sheet, yes. Income statement, no.
We'll see if the management team took any dilutions on their positions to accommodate that. But hey, now they can take that money and send it right into playing around with cannabis. Rather than the cigarettes which I originally invested for. I don't agree with the move at all. Cannabis is tainted. Good luck to everyone else. I'll check back here again in a few months.
Source?
> Income and Balance Sheet to show if they have the capital to keep up with financing while not bringing in revenues
> What does that have to do with anything
Period Ending Jun 30, 2014
Total Revenue: 16
Operating Income or Loss: (2,038)
Net Income: (1,966)
Balance Sheet March 31st, 2014
Total current assets: 7,308,579
Total current liabilities: 1,147,815
I'm not convinced on this recent move. As I said before. I won't be returning anytime soon.
I doubt anyone remembers me but I have an admission to make. A few months ago I said repeatedly on here that the idea of XXII moving into cannabis was ludicrous. I did also say the company had made no mentions of their intent to do so at that time. They have now. So I was wrong, I admit it.
That being said (full disclosure I have no position in XXII and sold in the high 5's or low 6's I believe.) I think this move is absolutely baffling. They have yet to sell any of their products or bring in meaningful revenue, yet are expanding with money they do not have. I likely won't be returning to XXII in the near future if at all. Good luck to everyone else.
I'll post the screenshot of my selling at 5.98 if you don't believe me.
Or sell all of it and make out like a bandit like I did.
I'm considering it. Probably later on though, after the MSA and after I see a concrete move on the Brand A and Brand B modified risk applications. That could be up to a year. There was no point in risking a 100% gain on the chance that maybe XXII's premium cigarettes will be successful.
Though I'm not seeing the usual posters from early in January when this thing had it's run up. I guess that's a vote of no confidence. I'm watching the stock for now but it'll take a bit to get me back into it.
Oh man. I am so glad I sold at 5.98. I got greedy and could have at the 6.20's I was watching the thing. Oh well. Live and learn. To everyone still holding at a loss, I really feel for you. Sincerely don't interpret this as sarcasm. I know what it's like to be caught in these types of downturns.
When I bought My average finally settled around 2.97, my first buys were in the 2.25's. I would now be selling at a loss from my original purchase if I was still holding. I would have seen a 100% gain disappear and turn into a loss if I hadn't sold.
No idea, there's no news other than the trial starting but losses are insane.
No way I'm selling. The potential of some crazy distribution announcements among the other promised "several catalysts in the upcoming weeks" is more than enough to keep me holding.
My personal favorite is that recently added board of director member that grew his last tobacco firm to over a billion dollars. To sell now would be curious at best.
Yeah I understand I should have been more clear I appologize. I was addressing the MJ proponents.
Wasn't that presentation at that shareholder's meeting made from BEFORE the state legalized marijuana? And correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the line of reasoning something along the lines of:
Pot is legal in Colorado, XXII has a connection with and individual in Colorado (more likely for cigarette distributions), therefore XXII will move into marijuana.
I'm not convinced. Not until there's a single word about it from management. They have too much on their plate as it is. As I said before in a deleted post, my prediction is not a single PR this year will contain any content about MJ.
Chardan said that timeframe first. That's within their 30-60 days timeline from their last report. Hardly foresight. I agree with you on how everything he's said to date could be figured out by anyone with an IQ above 100. Except fr the marijuana stuff, which I still contend in BS.
He was a week off and anyone who knew that the nasdaq would take an extra month because of the reverse merger requirements could guess that the comapany would go for the NYSE-MKT first. Even I guessed that.
I hate pumpers, I appologize for bringing bigmoneyupward away from his usual penny stock marijuana plays. He must have followed me from the bitcoin board.
It looks like a new product has been added to the XXII website. "Magic Export" I think that's new. Can anyone else confirm?
If it's an export that means that they may be posturing towards international markets.
EDIT: or maybe the new one was Moonlight.
It looks like the ticker is reflecting the last price on MtGox. Which is now defunct. Can we get someone to change that?
Also, looking forward to 2014. It has been rough for bticoin so far but I think 2014 will be the year of merchant adoption. Far too many people were inspired by the run up to 1,000 back in December and have been working in the months towards accepting bitcoin. (Remember that process takes months and will start coming to fruition very soon IMO)
Why? That would probably mean Joe would have to release a follow up PR stating that the primary item on the agenda for the upcoming shareholder's meeting is a distinct lack of humor among shareholders.
If anyone is deadset on the idea that XXII and the CEO are going to leave their area of expertise (tobacco) and magically become an industry leader with marijuana please bring it up at the shareholder's meeting. The chuckles from those attending should be good.
It's*
Newbie. Didn't address any of my points either. One argument against what I'm saying. That's all I'm asking.
I've been here since January and was researching the company in December. Though thanks anyways.
You didn't address any of my points. Try again.
I'm sick of the MJ posts, to date management has not said a single word about MJ. Their technology to regulate nicotine and other factors in tobacco is a technology created by the University of North Carolina. This technology took nearly a decade to get where it is today.
Seeing as the nicotine technology was created outside of XXII and has taken this long to reach fruition it's ridiculous to say they're magically going to come up with some MJ/THC manipulation chemical process. It just doesn't work that way. These things take years and years. There aren't even patents for it, patents haven't even begun to be formulated probably.
We have a company focusing on restarting clinical trials, finalizing uplisting, gaining MSA status, launching distribution agreements for their premium brands, trying to break into international markets, and now apparently they have the resources and time to COMPLETELY revolutionize MJ?
Absolutely ridiculous. If I see ANYTHING from management about this I'll gladly eat my words, but until then any talk of MJ is laughable.
If you think THIS is good just wait until MSA approval is launched along with other potential surprises. I wouldn't be surprised if MSA approval came coupled with awe inducing distribution agreements that could bring in tons of revenue. All in my opinion of course.
I believe Chardan said a few weeks ago we could expect the MSA in 30-60 days. So that is probably rapidly approaching. Correct me if I'm wrong though. Good times all around.

According to this 2011 document XXII was supposed to submit an application for a risk modified cigarette in 2011. It's now 2014, does anyone who has been in this longer know what the cause of the delay was?
(also, ironically this article predicted a $5 price by the end of the year as of 2011, we're still not at $5)
Hahahah poor shorts. Didn't see that coming did you? I know Sykes service depending on what you buy can be over $1,000 per month in price.
Do you feel like you're getting your value's worth?
Go XXII.
Woah, what is going on here? I've made tons over the course of lunch but there's no news?
It's getting there. At least with the current information available.
I can't shake the feeling that a correction is incoming. IMO. Still it's nice to have a good 50 percent.
So who here is going to the shareholder's meeting?
Is anyone still even holding? lol
Welcome to my ignore list
New all time high! Long live XXII!
You can read the PR's for yourself. The best investment you can make is an investment in yourself.
Also, there is no news on the MSA. In the future I wouldn't trust Iflub posters to give you the inside scoop.
We're already well over halfway through that time. We've been over two since December.
Plus catalysts were promised in the coming weeks.
Yes that is certainly possible, but it's also been noted that they often make exceptions, and may not be stickler's about the share numbers, as our market cap is well above the minimum

There are about 56 million shares.
