I would be baffled by this unexpected honor except I happen to be well familiar with random phrase generators one finds on the internet. Therefore I gratefully accept this gift from the universe, even its significance escapes me. Whatever it is, thank you, you "imperialistic usurper, you unreconciled floret"! Ha! (God, let's not continue this! even if it diverts attention from the sorrow of speculating endlessly about the prospects of Axis, which I stopped doing some time ago.)
Ya, it's me. Thanks. You too! It's been quite a while for me here. I was looking at my old bookmarks, saw the link and said to myself, Axis, seems I have some memory of that. 'Wonder what's happening, the war being over and everything. I had thought AXGC was basically dead since those days, but I saw the blip, so I was also wondering if it was or not. 'Guess nobody knows... (Must be something behind it - maybe they did it just to get us yakking about it!)
Draftteam, ya, I know about it, from Glen L told me about it. I see they have a website now. Might be interestin'. I don't gamble, except for stocks! heh.
The question is, "How does AXGC fit into things?" Is there any kind of known plan? or hope of one?
Strange tho' that it went up to 9¢. 'Gives one the feeling someone might know something or other. Ganem is gone though. He was the hope in the NOC from what I understood before. Thoughts anyone?
How much more? Good question! Maybe when someone who has already tripled their money finally gets cleaned out Or maybe when the company gets their pals on-board before they start their push.
News flash. As part of their debt default protection plan, Obama and Republicans have jointly announced an emergency levy on happiness. Let's not let that happen!
It looks to me like someone is quietly accumulating. In the mornings lately there has been low volume. The bid is low. Seeing there are no shares in the $.50 range, they want to accumulate and the bid goes up, as does the volume after around noon. This bodes very well as more people discover the company.
I like your mind Edge. $1 - It is possible.
I'm back from my vacation. I didn't have internet access since last Thursday. 'Nice to see it taking off again. Basically it seems to have the same pattern except at higher intervals now.
What I see is that it gets established in the $.30 - $.40 range and people watch it and say, "Hey, it's not coming down". They do some DD and think, "Holy &^%(, this just might be something". Then they see it is for freekin' real and then they see it go into the 40's and then they don't want to miss the boat, because, as you say, the higher it gets, the larger the bigger the gaps. And the same holds true of the $.50's and now the $.60's.
Caramba! And up til now Fridays have been weak trading days. Huge volume especially at the close, I notice. This bodes well for next week. Something's afoot. New buyers are discovering this.
We could have but alas we didn't - this time. But to me it looks like money is flowing into this stock, so when the number of bidders go up, with this kind of regular volume, so will the SP. When though? Hmmm... "fairly soon" is my guess - and I mean before the big bang in Sept. Win4Me says $.75 is next stop. Could be. It is just in the beginning stages and the trend is in the right direction.
Yes, W4m and StevieD. The way I see it is still only a few people have a glimmering of what the company is cooking up and who is involved and what it means. If just this small circle is driving demand, and they get, say, modestly, .5 million subscribers come Sept 21, look out SP! Until then a little speculation is coming our way as the circle grows wider. I would guess the moneyed folks still haven't bought in the open market.
This is also going to be a very fun stock, what with all the events and stars 'n glam. Natissa is still my fave.
Niiice movement! $.56 on decent volume. Somebody likes it. This is gonna rock.
Interesting. We are flirting with the over-50¢ mark and on semi-decent volume. Somebody's interested in this little guy. Can anybody see if it's one buyer, or a flock?
Also, if there's a Natissia fan club, let me know and I'll join!
Look at
Anybody know how much volume is accounted for on the Berlin Xchange?
I wonder how many people let the recent news release sink in, thought about it, did some DD, and came to the conclusion that these guys are into a serious new development.
IMO what they are doing is a paradigm shift in online gaming industry, if you even want to call it that. People (like me actually) who would *never* go onto any gambling site, might find their business very palatable. I mean one is not going to get hooked into spending unreasonable amounts, as one could easily do on a "normal" gambling site, and one might just win something very cool to boast about.
oooo - this is a good release. Natassia is not just any pretty face (although she is that too!). A quick websearch says she's been in 40 odd films, plus studied musical theater in London and ballet at the Goh Ballet Academy and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. Yikes. I like her already!! A lot. And she like to have fun doing PR for the likes of us wannabe's
Oh yeah, the NR also mentions completion of a production shoot - I guess for the website. It says"The production was produced by Friedman 360, New York and James Marshall producer/director of Smallville". James Marshall... These guys are going high class all the way...
The Germans could come in with additional buying if they ever get around to trading on that market. Of course the Germans have to get aware of the stock and the business concept somehow. I take it there's someone over there to promote it. Over 50¢ would be nice tho' while we wait around for the time being.
I think that is very possible, Richard. IXMD will be trading on the Berlin market for one thing. (anybody know when?) I for one do not believe it will take very long to get .5 million subscribers. There is the stock market and then there is the subscriber market. But I wondered how there can be much promotion of the stock until subscribers have the ability to subscribe and the marketing machine can kick into gear. But then watch out world...!
My guess is any real news from here on in will be around the time of the site launch. But I think the SP will hold up at least in the 40's (- hopefully more!) Volume seems spotty though, so it could be volatile if it goes much higher. I having trouble right now imagining what would otherwise drive the price higher in the short term, unless IXMD gets popular simply by word of mouth. As I said, I think it's worth ~$1 for every 100K paying subscribers, but until such time they get any subscribers, we're likely in a holding pattern. I could be wrong...
Interesting week, wasn't it? *Zeero volume* early on, then down to .39, and on quite decent volume up to today's price. I talked to Larry earlier on. He says it is not really followed by many people - (and this is the key!) - YET. This is really gonna take off IMO.
The chart looks very promising indeed. A few months ago, the chart said this was just a nameless penny stock on the pinks. I know the plans have been in the works for a lot longer, but to the outsider, that's what it looked like. It gave an opportunity though to those not alread in.
If nothing else, the rise in SP should draw some attention, not to mention the fundamentals. A month ago you could get it for $.23-$.25, almost a double. The volume is picking up as well. My perhaps over-simplistic back-of-the-envelope calculation is that we have ~$1 in SP for every 100,000 paying subscribers.
Nice move today and decent volume. Are we "convincingly" above $.30? I think so, but let's wait and see. There is a long way to go yet!
Welcome Edgenation. Isn't it nice to see an uptick with decent volume? Especially seeing on a Friday, which are usually lacklustre days. But I'm waiting to see it break convincingly above $.30. Maybe we'll see zat when zee Germans start buying, ... Good luck everyone!
Ghanem the top contender. wow. My thoughts exactly. See my post 6814. Makes some sense. He is a statesman, but he has to win popularity at home. Methinks Libya just might have a chance for a decent future after it all quietens down when you-know-who is gone.
The problem is all those tribes to keep happy. It's gotta be tough being a dictator. And now all those protesters with their demands and whatnot. Lucky they have all this oil and not too many people. Not like Egypt, although it all went a little smoother there - at least for the time being! They just might need, uh, a democracy? Or something close...
Anyway they need a Marshall Plan. Maybe Ghanem be da man wit da plan. Like I was saying, to keep the little guy happy, you have to distribute the wealth a little and educate them for real. Cuz otherwise the future is a difficult place for a leader in those parts from here on in.
Thanks for the link, Captain!
Ach awae man, you think too much about the price... A small mind...
Here's a link to a good little article about Libya's recent history since Qaddafi took over.
http://www.counterpunch.com/prashad02222011.html
It mentions Mr Ghanem. It'll be interesting to see where he lands ofter all is said and done. Mark my words. (heh heh)
Libya is a puzzle. It could have been, and probably still can be be, another Dubai, but with Oil, and closer to Europe, and lots of historical things to see for tourists, rich and, er, middle class. The place could be a veritable Disneyland, no, Mecca - (I'm trying to find the right comparison, but you get the idea ).
Instead what you get is repression. Really now! 'Hope the New Boss isn't like the Old Boss! One thing is certain, they will need a lot of help from the outside. Will they be enlightened enough to take it? I believe so, but let's wait and see...
Yes, it's the future that's interesting. However the past tells us how the interest has been growing. It would be nice to see an actual release or understand the plan of when the events you mention will likely be unfolding, like when an upgraded website will be launched.
Egypt sent a strong message to the leaders of the Mid-east nations. The main problem in Libya is unemployment among the youth in particular. It seems to me Libya needs more revenue to throw them a carrot and prevent an uprising there. Gee, what company can help them with that? Hmm... Now let me think...
It was an interesting day today - one likes to see trades soon after the bell and decent volume throughout the day. It's starting to look more liquid even without news. It'll be interesting to see how the week develops. There is a ceiling at 30¢ so far (I would have said 28¢ last week). 'Wonder when Germany will kick in. I went to the Berlin exchange site - no volume yet. So maybe word is starting to get around on this continent. Go IXMD!
I think we're saying the same thing, Richard. I am trying to get a handle on the meaning of "soon". Hey, I like the spread today. I can't see the depth from my 20-minute delayed spot on the Hub though.
It'd be nice to see trading start in Berlin, what with it already being listed and all. Does anybody know if the volume there would be reflected on our market? Somehow the price would. I don't know the mechanism.
Nice to see a wee bit of positive action today. I guess it takes a while to set things up, get subscribers and investors and otherwise promote the thang. The volume is still not huge, which gives me the feeling that when we start to get lift-off and real interest kicks in, the initial action, at least, will be swift. Soon? I don't see why not, but then things often seem to take longer than this investor reckons. Any ideas?
Gaddafi is crazy like a fox, and very unusual for a dictator.
— Gaddafi holds no official title in Libya. Since the country is ostensibly a “state of the masses” run by people’s committees, it has no need for a head of state. Gaddafi is “the Brotherly Leader and Guide of the Revolution”
— Libya’s unique government system derives from The Green Book, in which Gaddafi outlines his Socialist-Islamic philosophy.
— Gaddafi claims that in a democracy, the will of 51 per cent of the population can subsume the wishes of 49 per cent, leading to “a dictatorial governing body in the guise of a false democracy”. Apparently "One of the many benefits the Libyans enjoy is the right to own a house" (from http://black-african-woman.blogspot.com/2008/03/gaddafis-heaven-on-earth.html).
— Have a look at that link. You can see Gaddafi’s 200-strong all-female personal bodyguard is known as the Amazonian Guard. It's almost like out of a Mike Meyers film. 'Gotta say "Wow".
Funny that Libya hasn't been mentioned much in the context of the recent uprisings in Tunisia and Egypt. A simple comparison of these countries is:
1) Tunisia had proven reserves of oil of 308 million barrels in 2006. Population: 10 million.
2) Libya had proved oil reserves of 41.464 billion barrels at the end of 2007. Population: 10 million
3) Egypt had proved oil reserves of 4.07 billion barrels at the end of 2007. Population: 80 million.
Anybody think the above means anything?
As strange as he is, I don't get the idea that Gaddafi is as unpopular as his fellow dictators in their own countries. Maybe I'm wrong on this. On http://www.paulcarr.com/tft/world/000961.php it states
'Seems to be kind of leveling off right now. The new marketers/PR firm they just announced needs to create buzz and get subscribers. They also need to promote the stock if this is to go anywhere. 'Bounced on not a lot of volume tho'. I guess it's early days, but they need a better story to tell than what's out there now.
Kind of a mexico standoff today. Sort of like the "other stock" we talk about - 'waiting for news. There is lots of reason for optimism though. We've had higher volume lately, a rise in the SP, and an interesting business model.
A gift, pour Moi? Wow. Every hundredth poster gets a prize? I'll settle for news - now that would be a fabulous gift. And you know? I'd share it with you all.
Hey, I'm still here, guys. Yes, I have kept an eye on the old hub group, but alas, had so little to add to the glum berating of a now-discredited, uh, (what was that animal?)
So good to see a little optimism even in lieu of news. Captain - as a lover of birds and parrots in particular - I am so sorry to hear about Petey. I hope soon to drink to his memory with the profits made on the oil from the sands of Libya - Axis, in other words, a stock he just couldn't stop squawking about.
Hale all others on the good ship Axis with the Captain at the helm. Warp 10, Scotty!
Thanks, Richard. It seems at least a few people agree with you (about the promising Bus model). The price certainly seems to be rising steadily, but considering the SP, the volume is fairly light. Yes, they need to get their site up and running and news out and promoted to the gaming community. But where will the SP be prior to that? 'Don't like to chase these things up, but one likes to mitigate risk.
At least they aren't dependant on some Oil Sheik potentate somewhere!
No whiskey for me - got a cold - maybe some rum toddy and snacks!
Nice to see a few friends here from another forum. This stock came to my attention via you chaps. It has an interesting chart, hasn't it? Very spotty and trending down until 'round October, then with pockets of decent buying at the bargoon prices, and lately inching up. It looks like it could take off with a little news. Hmm... but when? That is always the question, isn't it? Looks like it could be soon.
Ya, you're right, Richard. I know. Nobody with brains will post a rumour anyway, just guys who ask Hey, I liked your expression "hogwash" tho'. LOL.
On nicer news: 'Got some 3 kinds of whiskey for Xmas.
I notice the bid/ask are higher. Anybody have theories about Wazzup? I can't but be a little more hopeful, but history tells me not to be over-optimistic. "Hope springs eternal int he human heart". Somebudy said that. lol
HI guys. Me again. Yeah, still here. Nice to see a little volume - almost enough to restore any faith in this uh, puppy. But here's a question for you all: What makes us think this is not just tax loss selling?
I once chastised Richard about eating chips with his whiskey. Sorry,Richard. I might start doing it myself soon out of boredom with ol' Axis. Man, it'z a long wait. Ya, I'm still around too. Hey, I noticed the ask was a little higher at Friday's close. 30¢. Gave me a small amount of cheer.
