That wasn't the question. The situation Russia finds themselves in is unwinable. If Russia keeps going China will wait till they think Russia is weak enough and stab them in the back like they do to everyone else they deal with.

The European Central Bank said on Monday morning that Sberbank Europe, a fully-owned subsidiary of Sberbank Russia, which in turn is majority-owned by the Russian state, is failing or likely to fail along with its Croatian and Slovenian units.

“Sberbank Europe AG and its subsidiaries experienced significant deposit outflows as a result of the reputational impact of geopolitical tensions,” the ECB said in a statement. “This led to a deterioration of its liquidity position.

“There are no available measures with a realistic chance of restoring this position at group level and in each of its subsidiaries within the banking union.”

I expect the ECB and other central banks to be destroyed by the end of the week.

That being said, Russia will BK as fewer and fewer lend them and China money and their
de $lerizing will come to a quick and abrupt end.

I made a substantial investment in the Ruble prior to Russia defaulting back in 2014. I currently am committed to holding my position in the Ruble for a matter of years, maybe even 10's of years. I dont view Russia as a threat to Europe or the United States. I will agree there is an uneasiness between the U.S. and Russia but I personally feel that it is just a old "cold war" type of paranoia. As far as Europe goes, Russians want to be able to afford to purchase goods from European countries like everyone else that has a decent standard of living. Russia, my name is Peter James Larsen and I am committed to you as a people.
