The one large cap standout was Cronos Group Inc. (CVE:MJN). The $2 billion cannabis standout rose 21.92% to $11.79/share on 3.5-times average daily volume. Cronos began trading yesterday on the NASDAQ stock exchange under the symbol “CRON”.
We suspect the company benefited from the American public’s eagerness to invest in a respected, large cap cannabis producer. Currently, much of the American investment landscape is dotted with speculative micro-cap companies on secondary exchanges. That Cronos performed so strongly gives us an important clue as to latent investor demand down south.
Whether this ‘latent’ demand translates into re-invigorated investor interest in Canada remains to be seen. But the strength displayed by the sector today is certainly encouraging. The bid was not only bought, but it was hoovered up in convincing fashion.

Holy PRMCF look at the volume in the last two days huge change.
CRON we knew it was a matter of time.
For a year or more I have been saying this is a Quiet Lion and now it ROARS.
Trades....48743 shares traded 9,753,639 Look at the dollar volume $ 8.409715
Cronos is the first Cannabis company to up-list to the "NAD SACK" and the US is still behind.
This will be the catalyst for almost all the other players in the sector.
I am so happy I got in Dec 22nd 2016 and bought and sold and bought and sold and bought again etc.
I have always had faith in Cronos and the people that are behind the scenes.
I wonder if the Guys are still sharing one house and getting rides to work in one car?
What a Cinderella story.. "Big boy Pants now".
Congrats Cronos guys for moving forward like you said and being there for all of us.
You have helped this single Dad to live a "richer" life.
My kids thank you also.

Cronos Begins Trading on NASDAQ Stock Exchange

Cronos Group common shares are trading on Nasdaq under the trading ticker symbol CRON.
On the TSX Venture Exchange (“TSX-V”) Cronos Group is listed under the symbol TSXV: CRON.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

The Cronos Group is a company in the business of investing in companies either licensed, or actively seeking a license, to produce medical marijuana pursuant to Canada’s Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR).

Cronos fully owns two LPs(Peace Naturals and OGBC), a 21.5% interest in Whistler Medical Marijuana Company(WMMC) and investments in Canopy Growth and Abcann.
