By way of housekeeping, I closed REPH last week at an average 3.20.

final average cost was 2.81

Profit was ~15%. Although profitable, it was not
a good trade. I bought too many shares. Foolishly, I didn't realize how thin this stock would be.

There were times that I thought I would have a difficult time getting out
before bad news. Even worse it weighed on my psyche and prevented me from scooping up other january effect plays that I was interested in such PLX.

The green rush is subdued right now

Thinking it will get some traction before the election

If so,CANV will at least reach it's recent high
by election day.

I usually like to wait until after the first week in November to employ this strategy; but, this one will move fast when and if it

My next call is QRXPY. I bought @ 3.91.
I will sell above 4.75 by the PDUFA date

It has an ad com in April and a PDUFA on 5/25.

Last year, they received a CRL for this pain med.
Safety or efficacy were not issues in receiving the CRL
I also like PDUFA plays that are not crowded by Sheff Station Hoohah
When this breaks the 4.15 - 4.25 range, it will be a quick trip
to my target.

my target profit is modest as is my position size. I will sell between
20.79 & 21

Seasonality is on my side.

I will also add that I would not take this trade if it were not for the pattern on the daily. It gives me a little added comfort for what I consider a somewhat iffy trade

I've been distracted with other things so far this year. I apologize for the delayed response.

I had a CHTP GTC sell order fill on Monday. I may go short CHTP on an FDA approval.

I also covered MACK profitably

Yesterday, I bought 5K EKSO at 2.95 average. I see RKW of Silicon Investor fame (aka James Silverman) is heavily involved. He is my most respected biotech investor by orders of magnitude. I would like to add shares at lower prices.

My favorite is still AERO. It's one PR away from being a 2-5 bagger. I'll trade any of them with caution. But, AEROs relationship with Scotts Miracle Gro (SMG) portends the future of almost any market in the USA. Microcaps in giant markets almost always get squashed. So, it's my only long term hold

Dan...I'm just an old fart who likes playing in his comfort zone. Meaning I have a watch list of stocks that I've played many times and have a good feel for them now. For example, I owned SSN a few years ago at .20 ,sold them on the way up over 3. Bought some back for the first time last week for what I think will be a double once they announce the results of fracking 5 wells.I did sit through adcom with 1k of CHTP and sold AH, I had only done that one other time and that was with ARNA and had a considerable bigger holding. Instinct,gut,luck,gambling spirit...kept me alive...so far. Know enough about charts to keep me out of trouble. Like I say ,getting long in the tooth..."songs that used to make me smile, now bring a tear to my eye"...that's how old I am,lol. Anyhow, wrapping my day up early,going to do some ice fishing on the pond. Have a nice weekend!

in the weeks ahead.

There should be some excitement going into the psoriasis results based on the RA results for the same compound.

I will make it a full position if the stock tumbles further.

I am a free rider here. But to answer your question ... yes @stocktries but I don't tweet often.
Most of the time you can find my ideas where you found them on ihub or on thelion.com under the same jjkool_01 handle.
I just don't post often trying to pump stocks. I share what I find and those who do follow, get that info. Those that don't follow usually miss the calls.

I've been accumulating MSTX the last couple days. My average is .415. The January Effect will bring a nice % move with virtually no risk of dilution.

This is the time when I begin to consider sub-$1 stocks. My criteria for these stocks is needs be less than the Jaffecta stocks I have been buying.

In my opinion, APPA and MSTX are two of the best in the sub-$1 category.

What I like:

Baker Brothers have large position.

They will have a much anticipated ASCO presentation

Their oncology compound makes them a take-out candidate for its combination therapy possibilities.

No near-term financing risk

Lately, more and more online traders withhold making directional calls. I intend to collect interesting directional calls here. I will focus on calls made by traders I admire. Personally, I like to have both a technical and fundamental reason to enter a trade. So, that will be my focus. Here's what I don't like: * Pumping (It's like pornography. You know it when you see it) * Purely technical calls without volume anomalies. * Fundamental calls contrary to the current trend without an edge based on knowledge of the situation. I will attempt to rank the calls I put here and give a time frame.
