SAG BOTTOM + NEWS

This is what makes for interesting moneymaking potential. SAG sits around the bottom of its trading history, waiting for news that could confirm gold production/Rio Tinto joint venture progress on copper exploration and insurance claims updates/etc.

All and all, it is worth waiting for and watching.

If SAG ever gets up and over .075 in a session, it will be on its way, I think.

I am anticipating news very soon. If its as good as I hope it to be, than 6 cents should be a price of the past.

No volume today for trading. I'm wondering if its better to buy and hold this penny stock or to buy and trade around a core position? Some days there is reasonable volume, but generally it has not been that high.

Seem as if some are buying the bid and transferring it to an ask limit order to scalp a half cent. Don't know if it is for certain or even viable, but its a thought.

I would not want to be caught without a position just in case there was a significant move.

I agree on shares outstanding

but, like I said, when you look at the market cap which is the real relative analysis, I believe, it seems reasonable considering the asset base.

As for the ceo, I feel frustrated at times with the seemingly slow progress/etc, but overall I think this guy and the team has made substantial progress with the company over the past year or so. I think the share price is lagging the progress that has been made and when/if we get a very strong news release (which I believe is coming), the stock will possibly move much higher.

Yes, there are some negatives, but I guess it wouldn't be a penny stock if there weren't.

I was considering this the biggest drawback, plus the fact the CEO never seems to come through on his projections/promises.

Some of the financing is also a concern.

Next news

The next news release should be a good indication of how things are progressing. I am hoping they will address gold production/revenue/income and update on the jv with Rio.

The seasons are reverse over there where this mine is. They have just come through winter and heading into better weather.

Outstanding shares

That is one of the negatives I believe for this stock, however the market cap is still reasonable given the gold/copper/limestone.

O/S is 433M

I agree volume is key to day trading a stock.

SAG trading

The stock needs to have high volume days for good trades.
I think its best to hold a core position for the longterm.

SAG trades on TSE and now at year low.

The CEO has made many promises and predictions over the years and none have materialized yet.

Mining in SA is not easy when you consider local conditions and expenses.

In time this may be profitable, but trading it has been my best approach so far.

I believe SAG is cheap at 6 cents and offers opportunity to invest/speculate and trade.

Over the long haul, I believe the stock value should appreciate significantly. During this time, I believe there will be peaks and valleys as news becomes available and put out.

I heard about South American Gold and Copper on ROBtv a few years ago and it caught my attention. The time seems ripe for a company like this when you consider, we may be in the midst of a commodity bull market and SAG is Gold/Copper and also has Limestone that is a needed commodity in copper processing I've heard.

I am long on SAG and think 6 cents is very cheap.

Time will tell!
