OK fellow Falconers here's the scoop. The well was "completed" on 3/19/09. They haven't hit the "motherload" yet but they are flowing gas and oil as Pikser stated. They placed a CIBP at 17216 and poured 15 feet of concrete on top of that. They perf'd and tested 16966-73'. The report shows 89bpd of oil and 3046 MCF/day gas. Gas is flowing at a pressure of 10,226 psig. I have been told by an industry expert who's seen the logs that there is a zone above this that looks very promising so we could possibly see a higher gas flow, I'm trying to confirm whether or not the completion rig is still in place. My source tells me that is his opinion the completion along with the remaining areas to be tested will almost certainly (what's for certain?) mean they will go after the second well. It may not be a gusher but it's not dry! Some action on the stock today - highest price we've seen for quite a while. One question I have - now that they have found gas, can they still continue to call this a "closed hole"? You would think there'd be some sort of announcement but they appear to be staying with the same MO we've seen for years - i.e. - no announcements, nada. I'm still wondering whether they are blind to the stock price and working to create a money making business they can sell? Thoughts? And Kurt - about your statement regarding Falcon (Yorkville) and Petrogulf drilling another well together, man, I'll believe that when I see it. From what I understand they can't stand each other. Time will tell. Good luck all. Things may be looking up!

The financing has been weird but Yorkville, Cornell, YA Global, who are all the same companies run by Mark Angelo, are doing pretty well right now with what they've found. The shares have been inflated but if they follow through with this second well, it is because the first one proved what was down there. In order for Angelo and Co to get there $11,000,000, plus what they've put in the development of the wells and interest and profit they will need to see the stock go up either on the open market or through a sale. According to folks on the Yahoo board, Avoca Corp., who is the landowner, was paid for the leases by Falcon, in part with shares!

Yes, I have been keeping tabs on the Sonris site. The geological studies of the land looks as though there is very positive potential. I agree with all that. My concerns still go back to all the toxic financing Falcon was involved in and who is going to benefit? Do we as shareholders ever benfit?

They are at 20487ft in their well on Avoca in Louisiana. They have only a few hundred feet to go for completion. That might have happened this past week. Results are posted on a website hosted by the Louisiana Dept. of Natural Resources. It's called Sonris Lite. The well serial number is 236747. Check it out for yourself. Petrogulf, a private driller that is splitting the profit 50-50 with FNGC is doing assessment as we speak. Signs are positive. I'm holding to see what happens in the next couple of months. Folks who do may be surprised!!!

I have ask the same question and I'm not convinced they are involved at all. We do know the well is being drilled, but does Falcon actually have any interest? Not sure. I do believe it is very posible that they have signed it over to Cornell (or whatever they call themselves now) or Petro. I am still not convinced FNGC does or will exist in the future. I sold the large majority of my shares last year, now I'm just watching for entertainment.

Hi BT,

It looks like they are now drilling straight down which means they will drill deeper at a faster rate. They were drilling probably at a different angle for the last couple of weeks according to the scout info on the Sonris website.They can drill sideways to reach a section that they feel is a gas formation then proceed down to total depth.

I agree with everything your saying, but I still question the outcome. Yorkville/ Cornell really had no choice, they have a huge investment in this co./ well. I have confidence in Petro for sure, but I still wonder what happens next. Are Petro and Yorkville just doing this to recover their $? Does Falcon really still hold the leases to the property or did they loose them to Petro or Yorkville. Does the comapny survive drill the next well or at the very least does the SP even move above .02? I'm just not sure. I agree not much to loose on the gamble. Have you tried or been successful in contacting anyone at the company? That would be a great source if possible. I have to admit I have lost much of my interest here, but it may be worth the gamble, i'm still mulling it over. Like I said I have sold all shares except a 4 thousand or so I planned to liquidate this year for losses.

I think that with Petrogulf running the show that they will get to 21000 ft.and this could be the bonanza gas well that the reports from a couple years ago said it would be. Why would Yorkville the former Cornell Capital go along with Petrogulf if they did not think that there was a good chance of hitting gas.It is a risk but the Drilling company has a great reputation and Doug Mcleoud of Petrogulf is a proven winner when it comes to getting gas out of the ground.I would take a chnce at these prices.

There is a website called Sonris that has the well information.When you get there look at the heading Sonris lite then look for wells by serial number and the well number is 236747.You will see the well info and it is being operated by Petrogulf.

are you sure? how do you know? How deep does that well need to be? Ok, lets say your right, they drill it and don't screw it up. Then what? what happens to the revenue? does cornell take it? do they drill anoter? I hope so, they are sitting on a gold mine. I don't love their debt, but I think they would have pulled it off in 2005 if not for Katrina and delays. I still own some of the stock and have thought about buying some more in early Aug to see what happens, but I will say I do not have much confidence!

I was preety sure death had already come to this company. I saw the new CEO, Nabors Rig and warrents news last month and I nearly fell out of my chair. I already lost some money in this one, not inclined to do it again. AS you all have pointed out they are debt ladden and tied to Cornell which gives me enough knowledge to stay away. I will still be surprised if that well ever gets drilled. I don't know why they even bother, the company likely has no long-term plan. I'm staying away FWIW, but I'll be watching mid Aug. for a report to see if they finished the well. I'm not expecting much!
