You constantly say that CVSI is a scam. I dont see it? Is it because the price of the stock has dropped from "$6 to 0.50"? .. Charlottes Web has dropped from $20 to $3 .. is that a scam? What about Tilray? They dropped from $150 to $6 .. is that interesting too?

To me, when an entire sector is crashing like this, it doesn't mean these stocks are scams. It might mean something else is going on.

The pumpers came in here sometime last year and tried to run this dog but because of all the shares out there nothing happened. They turned almost 3 BILLION shares in two days and the share price just laid there like a dead fish.

If I were going to dig deeper and do a side by side comparison, it doesnt look so good for the other guys on the surface. Moreover, the two companies are not even competitors. SURG is a technology company. So why are they even being mentioned here?

I have recently been bitching and moaning about wanting to sell since nothing has been happening, but even I can see that there has been a nice uptick in volume, and even the price over a couple of weeks ago.

No problem. I will be the first to admit I have not looked deep into the whole custodial process, that's why I did not buy-in and preferred to watch. I am not really the type to buy into something I don't know anything about.. but I am willing to learn.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but actions like that would require a catalyst and so far I just don't see any on the horizon.

However, I have seen 200,000+ in volume on an almost daily basis lately with a slight climb in price. Maybe it will be some kind of dumb blind run up but until the company becomes current I don't expect any action.

Can someone please tell me why I am still be holding this?

I got a private message about this ticker a couple of weeks ago and have been watching it ever since.. in my humble opinion it was just a pump. I have seen the posts where people say court date this and new company that, but have not seen any proof of anything being true. These would be public records, and there just aren't any.

I was going to say I will believe it when I see it .. but there has been over 2.4 million shares in volume already today. Maybe there is something going on here.

I did see this on TV on the news.. T did not come right out and say it but he did tap dance around the idea. He implied it as much as anyone else.

Not my point.. to me the scary thing is that someone like Ben Carson can get an audience with the president that easy, whisper in his ear about this, and try to go around the system in place while the rest of us sit here and wait for the wheels at the FDA to turn and approve what we all know should be approved. I have no idea how any of this will play out but its looking more and more like politics are at play here. Just my theory.

I am afraid that this one died. It's just dead. The whole oil story seems to be bogus or we would have had some news by now. Instead, it's crickets.

Unless something happens within the next week or two I am going to cut my losses and move on. You can't win 'em all.

I have a few thoughts.

The run up before earnings is nothing new. Has happened every time for the past couple of years. I am still surprised when the masses see the selloff a day or two before the earnings are announced and say the sky is falling. Shoot, a smart short term investor would plan for it. Buy a week or two before earnings and sell a day or two before they are announced. Don't take my word for it, look at the charts for the past couple of years. Oh but that would mean someone would actually have to do some research.

As for NASDAQ .. yes the stock price needs to be higher but even when it was in line last year there were roadblocks. To my knowledge, those roadblocks are still there so a stock split would not have accomplished anything. Moot point as the stock split was voted down.

Uplisting to NASDAQ is a great idea and will open the doors to a lot of institutional investors, but it's not the sole answer for success. CVSI has plenty of hurdles to overcome. From what I can see they have made great strides.. cleaning house for example. I think the company as a whole is moving in the right direction but is years away from being the monolyth that a lot of us know they can be.

If you are in this to get rich quick then maybe you should buy that bridge that Chill has for sale in Arizona. Or at least stick to the quick move before earnings. Just my two cents.

OMG. On the Global Holdings Intl page there is this about Bob:

I suppose all of that is true.. but nowhere does it say anything about him bleeding SVTE dry. Sure, he "raised billions of dollars in investments" but where did that money go? How many of these 50 companies he took public were successful? They didn't even mention any of them so we could look them up.

I still think he is a con man and SVTE has been his own personal ATM. Dont take my word for it. If you do your own due diligence you will ask yourself who in their right mind would willingly create (how many is it?) almost 9 billion outstanding shares? There are so many shares out there that even when the pumpers come in here to make their play, the stock lays there like a dead fish. You can't even give this junk away.

Well the earnings would have to already be released if the conference call is at 1:30pm, yes?

I'm still holding a bag from a couple of years ago.. can't get out of this mess even at market price!

All in all, I think the vast majority of shareholders don't like the fact that overnight they all of a sudden own half, one third, one fourth (or whatever the split was) of their shares.. even if the ownership dollar value is still the same.

Regardless, its a moot point here. The reverse split was voted down and didn't happen. I do have full confidence that this company can regain its former stock price and qualify for NASDAQ on its own, all without any slight of hand stock split tricks.

Um, I don't believe I did. I never said that after a reverse split you owned less of the company. I said you own a percentage of the number of shares. You can go back and look if you would like..

I did vote on this and I too voted against the split. In my experience, a reverse split really is never a good idea. Yes it would have driven the share price up to where it qualifies for NASDAQ but it does so at a cost. Never mind the obvious that we all own a percentage of what we once did in the number of shares, but the negative perception takes a long time to over come. That, and it only gives the stock room to drop back to where the split took place.. I have seen other stocks do just that.

To me, its crazy that the stock price is where it is today. It should be above $2 easily in my humble opinion, especially compared to the rest of the sector. Tilray at $8.70? Really? I mean, come on!

I plan on hanging out here more now that I am back and I wish everyone the best.

Talk about corruption.. here is just another example of why the lawsuit is a complete waste of time.

The frivolous lawsuit that has been on the books ever since Andrew Left and Citron brought the stock price of CVSI down has a new player.

It seems that Charles Foti, the former Attorney General of Louisiana mentioned in the above statement has his own checkered past. In my humble opinion, this sits right in line with the likes of Andrew Left and Citron.

As sheriff, Foti came under criticism for various questionable activities, including the use of inmates as a state labor force and operating a sailboat marina from which his office derives rental income. Foti also used his influence to promote Tulane University and its football program. Of course, when you are a dirty politician/lawyer, there are even more examples than the above.

I seem to remember that as soon as Andrew Left and Citron made their accusation against CVSI that it was something like 45 minutes later the first lawsuit was announced. It seems that a lawyer for the law firm that issued the lawsuit was Left's brother-in-law.. does anyone else remember this?

I guess its a tight-knit circle of corruption over in them there woods. Andrew Left has his own checkered past for fraud.. I am willing to bet Citron and Foti fit together like two peas in a pod. Pot, meet Kettle.

You obviously have a unique perspective, one that differs from mine. I can respect that because a difference of opinion can help keep us all honest.

But it seems to me that your opinion isn't based on anything other than conjecture. "Mute equals red equals choppy" is a formula that you just threw together without anything solid to back it up, and that's the part that bothers me. Not once have you ever said WHY you think these things.. you just say them and put them out there for all to see.

WHY does "mute equal red"? I have said it before but I personally do not believe that CVSI is one of those sub penny barely alive OTC stock companies that operates out of someones basement and lives or dies by the press release. If you want a daily press release then you are going to get a lot of garbage, just like from those fly by night companies that trade in the 0.0005 cent range. I say No Thanks to that.

This is a legitimate industry leading company that generates millions in revenues. How many NASDAQ companies can you tell me put out press releases on a daily or weekly basis? I dont think ANY of them do but if you can show me one I will stand corrected. And once the FDA gets their act together, NASDAQ will approve CVSI's application for membership and we can leave all this manipulation mess behind.

As for the 7.5 Mill 4th quarter, well only time will tell there. You may even be right.. but at this point it's just another guess.

My simple guess is the Quarter slash End of Year report..

With respect, I disagree. The stock price is most likely going to remain where it is for a while, but I don't think that marketing is the problem. I see bigger issues such as the FDA and their lack of involvement with CBD in general.

While CVSI sits on the OTC, this is not some sub-penny stock that barely exists and is driven by daily press releases. This is a bonafide company with millions in annual revenue, that makes an industry leading product, and turns a profit doing it. Press releases are nice, but they won't fix the real problem of the FDA sitting on their hands.

The way I see it, the FDA does their job, releases the guidances we are all waiting for.. then next up is the NASDAQ guys approving the application for membership, and then it's off to the races. Until then, here we are.

Hi Marty, there is no real one simple answer to this question but let me see if I can explain it.

Market Makers are the guys in between us all when we buy and sell stocks. In theory, they match us both up when we place orders. You want to sell at a dollar and I want to buy at a dollar so they push us together and the sale happens. Thats a way general sample of how it works.

They can also do their own deals. If someone is selling shares for 90 cents but there are no buyers, a Market Maker can decide to buy those shares for himself at 90 cents and wait to sell them later. They all build their own stash. If they have a ton of shares they bought at 90 cents, they can 'leak' them out on the market in small doses or large ones, their choice.. and we as consumers don't see it so easily if at all.

You can look at level 2 trading and see someone wanting to sell 100,000 shares at 90 cents. Once the order is filled then in theory that order disapears from level 2. But a Market Maker can replace those 100,000 shares with some from his own stash, and suddenly there are 100,000 more shares for sale at 90 cents again and it looks to us like those 100,000 shares never even sold. The volume can be high but the price never moves in this case and it happens a lot.

Imagine working for Big Pharma and having a Market Maker friend that trades in CVSI.. he could 'lobby' that MM to keep the price down so his own product and stock remains on the forefront. Not really legal but if he is caught the company pays a fine with a slap on the wrist. When billions of dollars are at stake, the fine is peanuts. Meanwhile the MM has extra money in his pocket and a shiny new car from the bribe.

In short, they are in it for the money just like the rest of us only they have the real inside track. They can add shares from their stash at any time and at any price, and effect the price.. run a price up or hold it down.. what ever happens to benefit them the most.

That's a basic look at what they do but I think you get the idea.

You are guilty of the very thing you accuse Marty of. You are talking about someone that you have never even met. Your accusations are 'just projections as to what you want to believe' as well.

The sky is not falling. Not every, for that matter, not ANY company hits their projections every time. We all know that CVSI is going to level out at some point and in no way can possibly keep putting up record breaking quarters. That's a pipe dream and just is not possible.

If Q4 is a miss, I don't think it will be by much. I believe the company will be close to the $55M it projected for the year if they miss it at all. If its a miss it will only be by a million or two, not by fifteen or twenty.. which they already have. A miss like THAT would be 'colossal' and warrant a call for the CEO's head.. not the nit picky points that you bring up.

Relax and let Dowling do his job. I doubt you could do it any better.
