They probably aren't even aware this thing exists. I bet if someone called them they would say they forgot to delist it, and promptly do so.

What are the costs to keep this thing listed & 'trading'? Is it possible it's been forgotten about by whoever lists it and it's freely floating?

The article mentions social media, which implies groups of people working together via an open public forum to pump a stock up.

Even with the small uptick in users here, I don't think that would be enough to push the price up to current levels and neither qualify as a legitimate 'pumping' group.

If this is being pumped via social media accounts, it's being done very quietly behind closed doors. I'm skeptical of that view point. Unless those people have immense amounts of cash, it takes hundreds of people's $ to get an 'OS-bloated POS empty shell' to get the price going up.

If it's not retail investors, why would MMs want to move this up? I think this is the most likely action, but I can only speculate as to why.

It's the most entertainment I've had on this board in 7+ years, the drama continues with more fervor than ever.

I don't disagree with what's been happening here for years, what everyone on this board has been saying there's a VZ connection forever.

I just don't consider that to be 'pumping' because it has obviously been ineffective for over 7 years.

When there's massive influx of people and posts here and the price goes significantly higher then I'll change my mind, but right now just seems so quiet. Not much chatter from anyone who hasn't been here for years, it's the same group. (Maybe we should all grab a beer sometime haha)

I'm not on either side. I understand your points but also see some validity in the potential for something crazy to happen here. So I still own some shares, just in case, but I'm not buying more or telling anyone to buy/sell either.

There is obviously confusion between naked short selling and buying Put options.

However, I believe in both cases the borrower of the shares is paying interest, hence the billions in losses already.

AMC will not be ‘next’, the shorts are being exposed here simultaneously with GameStop. Well get the run we get based on the shorts having to cover and mass attention already. People aren’t going to flock here when GameStop pops, if it even does. I fully expect a short squeeze here as well, AMC is #2nd most shorted stock ever and we have everyone’s attention right now.
