How is FB's stock price linked to Zynga?.. Zynga only cares about the userbase of FB.. and FB's stock price going down has no bearing on how much revenue Zynga makes... unless FB's stock going down also deletes some users in the process.. this is my point..

That's not true... the casual gamer user base is really high on facebook.. if they could have branched, they would have already had ties elsewhere... trust me I was there at Zynga when they tried to get out to as many social networks as they could... nothing matched FB's rev..

This is a surprise that people are trading it this way though.. I disagree with that statement... They make money off of each other, but only way the stock price should affect each other is if FB or Zynga goes bankrupt (since the money train would stop)...

TOTALLY AGREE T4...! Under estimating Zynga is not Wise in any market climate really...they provide FB with aprox. 30% of its revenue...I wouldn't be surprised if they dis-engaged from FB and went out on their own....

All are humans instinct, easier to buy when its color turning green thinking is will moving higher, when it in red lots of "Hmmm" thinking that somethings is wrong with this company, not as quick in making a decisions sometime even though is a better-buying time (but always depend on its reasons , I have done it both ways) IS JUST FEELS RIGHT AT THAT MOMENTS... then BAM!!!! The rest is history.

Do any of you have that metality?

So..the name of the game is to make as much money as possible and retire Period! So getting in at the lowest possible price is the name of the game for me..some stocks I ride a long while. We got to move quickly some time when is necessary and fells right at that moments.
Here's what I've done poorly with baZYNGA! :
First boutght in at IPO date 12/16/12 in$9.43-out$9.36, left Zynga for awhile and again comeback and bought on04/25/12: in$8.91-out$8.25 with Stop limit triggered after Earning+you mentions about this sell off is coming...and they did, and again bought in on05/8/12: just for FB IPO's ride bought in$7.85-out$7.50 with 2nd Stop limit because of Fakebook F-Up!

I love to get my $ back on Zynga and for a longer term holding. Right now I doing very good with other companies (that I wont mentions here to make you upset lol :o) to offset these lost$.

I knows, do you own DD and make your own decisions but some time do it alone is not enough!

I dont even own any positions at the moment. Only reason I tell people not to buy it is due to the implied volatility of the stock and thus the current risk in investing at the moment.

I am planning on getting back in just at the "right" time. Right now I dont feel that it is the correct time to get in. I lost a crap load of $$ on this stock. I am not a huge investor, it seems like you have a lot of $$$ on this stock versus my small investment. I am only trying to regain the 2500 in losses I incurred from this stock as well as keep a lt position with the best price in mind. I just dont want to keep losing money , not worth it or others to have to go through the same thing.

I hope so man.. I am so mad... due to the volatility, I began day trading my stock.. selling higher, buying lower...

I f'ed up and sold about 40% of my shares and the stock took off on me... I still have 60% of my holdings, but I'm mad... Day trading can be risky..

But yeah, we will revisit this range, maybe a bit lower?.. I don't think employees are done selling yet.. though we have to watch out for short coverings though...

You are correct. I'd back off any market for the time being. IF something major should happen in the euro zone then we will definetely feel the full effect of it. Same way the housing market crash here was felt world wide.

Just make sure you are practicing safe trading if you truly want to risk it right now.

INDEED! HotRod: do you will be back in when pps hit $4's? I am still hestitate to get back in right now, almost did it twice @mid$5. I Got saved by the bells many times because of Stop limit, twice with baZYNGA! Would be foolish if someone doesnt use it in this current markets conditions, anyone cant loose themself physically and emotional EVEN IN CYBER SPACES lol, and anythings can happen quickly or any company can go under. Only things we all can do is having a positive thinkings to make a right decisions, WITH LOTS OF SUPPORTS...and remember always SHARING IS CARING :o) IS WILL HELPS.

Thank GOD . I sold my positions while I still had a chance.

This stock keeps capsizing. I dont see anything good coming from it now. SO do yourself a favor and DONT BUY IT! It is not the right time to invest in anything to be honest due to europe, weak job report and lack of economic growth in the country. All these factors play a role in the stock market, all sectors. FB also screwing up plays a hand in this as well. There is still a relationship after all.

I said I did smell 4's in the future. I hope I am wrong for those who are there but I am doing a volatility test chart and it looks horrible.

Annual volatility has gone way up from pm to cm. Jumped up 20%. It sits at 74.9% , this is HORRIBLE! 100% would be a true bubble. This is basically what this is, a bubble that popped. 6 months of trading and that huge of a volatility does not look good.

Too many people willing to sell the stock and its ruining the pps.

Do your math / homework and be wise in investing into any stock. Take precautions and have always a stop loss ticket setup so you wont incur the same fate I did.

Hope you are right, but all i know is that, i tried again today, with Zynga, in extended hours, i bought 1000 shares at 5.66 at 4.05 pm and at 4.41 the news came about EA games, it seems that this company is cursed, so i had enogh already, to many fish in the sea to wait for them to wake up.
P.S. i sold at 5.67, and done with it, i'll never look back, forgot to mention was in the stock prior to that 8.14 sold at 6.84, for me its enough abuse !

Bringing EA games will not destroy Zynga.. EA has tried in the past and mostly failed.. Sims social was great for a while and then fell.. I know, I worked there at that time..

And I've worked for both companies.. EA is a bit late in the game I think and it will be a while before they're able to get market share..

Monopoly and Scrabble?.. these are already on facebook with other names... EA has their sport franchises, but those aren't mass social...

We'll see what Zuck does with Zynga tho...

Facebook's business plan is totally absent, as it makes no sense, bringing EA GAMES to Facebook will destroy Zynga, wich is one company that kept Facebook alive, and allowed it to have a good start up, now it is obvious that Mark Z. has no business running a company, all he is good for, is hacking, and back stabbing, his decision about Ea Games tells me that he never had any intention of buying Zynga out, at this point he is just boycotting Zynga without any regret, in his movie, i understood that loyalty is not his fortee, and it shows, i really hope he loses everything, not because i am a hatefull person, but just because, he does not deserve it !

Europe is hurting us I personally think the most and how unstable we are due to our notes to China coming due and the Bush tax cuts ending soon. And it being an election year..well..the boys are shaking things up alot..to make a point! It is bad all over and summer..is not a good time noteably in market I have heard. So..here comes worse unemployment numbers too..so lets just say it S..cks right NOw. I like you, want Znga to go gang busters..but..things really are making it tough for fad stocks to do much it seems. Fb really pulled us down too..bad timing! The market is way to risky for me to buy much..who knows what is going to happen..did we think it would be like this three months ago? NO GLTY!!

Well, no, I think if you guys think the stock will fall further, by all means short it... nothing any of us do or say is going to swing the stock one way or another.. I am just placing my bets on this going up... I saw us being at this price and I continue to see us being at this price for about 2 weeks (or a bit lower like 5.30) as I've said before.. and so far I've not been wrong.. I see some people chanting $4ish and even sub $3.. why not sub $1?.. delisting?... Or people that make arguments like, if facebook starts tanking, so will zynga because they're dependent on each other..

1) FB is valued at 78 billion or so right now?.. if we take revenue for revenue.. Zynga should be valued at like at least 12 billion.. so FB going down shouldn't affect Zynga, or if it does, less than savvy people are trading it.

2) FB isn't going bankrupt anytime soon, so revenue Zynga makes off of FB is irrelevant to how far FB's stock is going down...

So I'm hoping I continue to be right and we go up in 2 weeks or so... (praying for earlier, but probably unlikely)

Poker..sorry you had a bad day..I am wanting znga to climb too. I still have shares also..and would buy more if target area I am watching gets there. I just know this company has made a good profit for us all before..it will again..just may take sometime. I haven't wanted to get on the past couple days..due to bad days for us! First off.. GRPN is a short... it is a terrible stock with too many competitors that can easily get in.. I'd prefer it if you didn't mention it here because that stock is just utter crap.. and also it is off topic!

ZNGA is low volume and going down.. primarily due to selling of employees, I think in about 2 weeks, we should see some increase on ZNGA.

The volume today seems to be pretty low compared to other days... that's what scares me a bit...

I caved and sold at 5.81... I feel stupid.. but I had executed a large buy on margin.. 25000 shares.. $750 profit over such angst... sigh

Oh well still have all my original shares...

Now it is making new lows and headed slowly lower with small but weak bounces. I expect this to be sub $3 by years end but there's other plays out there. This is just a short sell and go away and collect the money eventually.
