A 20+% gain this AM triggered yet another minor sale of shares for my holding.
I gave up 15% of remaining shares at $42.80 to some hungry buyers.



This was originally purchased as a Covid-19 turn-around play when the
price/share was around $19. It took some buying and selling around that
core position to get here but now the holding is showing a profit of over
120% since last year's start. I originally found Willis as a "Shadow Stock"
listing on American Assn of Individual Investor's member web site.

WLFC back above $29 this AM. It's still only 1/2 the share price it was pre-C-19. Modest accumulation of shares after a lengthy "distribution period. And healthy W%R right now.

I had to let 10% of my shares go today at $28.55 as buyers lined up at the shipping dock. Last buy was at around $18.50 a couple of months ago.

A forlorn event happened today. After selling 10% of my WLFC position yesterday at $19.95 it shot up again today forcing me to sell an additional 5% of position at $22.41. I'm glad I still have plenty of shares left in case the price decides to continue its recovery.

Overall cash is now 14% of portfolio value so there's some cushion and ability to add back shares if discounts appear in the future.

Today WLFC satisfied my GTC Limit order to sell 10% of my position @ $19.95. I purchased the starting position on May 1st at $19.167 and added 12% more shares at $15.68 on May 13th. That provides a bit of ST trading profit while I hold the the position for LT gains.

So far WLFC is moving nearly lockstep with the airline stocks. With the 52 Week Low High range of $14.11 to $74.46 it should have some room to run.

I've started a position in WLFC with the mission of bottom feeding and building a position. It's possible that airlines will eventually make a come back and WLFC should be responsive to higher air traffic going forward. Currently its Price/Book Value is incredibly low. While P/E isn't probably a viable number right now at least it is starting for a very low base.

Willis Lease Finance Corporation is a lessor of commercial aircraft engines.
