That was by design as the MM where overwhelmed across the whole sector by such great influx of buying, causing massive MM short positions. I am sure their books looked scary up till their buddies at the SEC stepped in. I wrote a few posts dedicated to such criminal acts by both MM and SEC, you can find them in my archive posts. (March/April 2014) The MM and shorts have devastated this sector since then. The good thing about the E-cig businesses is there are very few to pick from unlike the 250+ companies that PRed MMJ and alot of them with bad intentions. Most all E-cig's companies have posted financials. Not to say none of them are crooked but your odds at investing are extremely better to be able to profit.

Hang tight folks 2015 is going to be explosive IMO

Both have some same negatives currently but expect a rather LARGE breakout in 2015 once pasted the toxic loan crap. Patience here I believe will pay off. JMHO

LOL - True but this would also be a GOOD board to list any real scam stocks that claim to be in this sector. One I can think of is now not even accessible was CYBK but that one was a total scam on everything it claimed.

In brief , the E-cig sector dropped from the highs of 2014 because of a number of things/events. First it ran too high initially (an over priced bubble), then the MMs and others came in and SHORTED, and lastly some took out toxic loans as they could not get regular bank loans for their growth and expansion plans. Other reasons can be added here but to me those are the biggies generally for this sector. Individual stocks each may have their own pluses and minuses.

Actually don't know them ALL. Hear their are at least 20. Could be more.
In time may get a complete list.
Hoping the idea of this board is to cover news that effects all or even just one stock that is in this sector. Many times others have found and posted stuff that I would not have known about otherwise on individual stocks, but it had value and meaning on other stocks. Its easier to check one board than 20+ to keep up.

BTW am in VPOR and ECIG at present but who knows what the future holds

Can we talk ???
There are a number of stocks listed , OTC and Pink , that deal in VAPOR and E-cig products. Some may be better than others at different times , due to management , government regulations , new product introductions , and market penetration news. So if used , this should be a sector board rather than an individual stock board in that we can all keep up on changes or evens that may affect what we are in.
