$LITM Engo Valley Uranium Project promises great value.
https://theextractormagazine.com/2024/04/09/engo-valley-uranium-project-promises-great-value/
Yesterday, Ontario Power Generation announced a second greenfield large nuclear power plant in Port Hope, Ontario.
Let us hope that Ontario and the Federal Government comes to their senses regarding the case for Canadian CANDU technology being used in this second large nuclear investment.
If Mark Carney becomes Prime Minister, you can be sure that his Westinghouse nuclear technology will be used over Canadian CANDU.
Note that Westinghouse is an American reactor supplier and its reactors use fuel that Canada is unable to manufacture.
According to the Conference Board of Canada, a potential nuclear development in Port Hope would also contribute $235 billion to Ontario’s GDP over an estimated 95-year project life, which includes design, construction, operation, and maintenance. It would also support 10,500 jobs across Ontario, including 1,700 new good-paying jobs in Port Hope, representing an average 15 to 20 per cent boost to overall employment levels in the local area.
Yes, getting to product phase is incredibly complex
Not at all easy for a junior to accomplsh......which is why an Australian company just bought these guys.....
At least now they're better funded to advance.

wow that is wild but I'm not surprised, given that China graduates something like 200,000 engineers annualy..
The photo-shopped "fish farm" in that photo there tho, shouldn't it render one skeptic ?
ha-ha
Regardless, does this "story" meamn that one should soon begin shorting Cameco up at this 83 level ?
Looks like it could reasonably decline down to 60

China is very close to cracking the ultimate source of cheap and abundant nuclear fuel: seawater. Uranium is everywhere in the soil and rocks. Water erosion carries that uranium to the sea, where the concentration remains at about 0.003 parts per million (ppm).
Since the 1950s, countries like the US, UK, Germany, Japan, and Italy have been tinkering with this idea, but the price tag has stayed stubbornly high at $560 per kilogram, way pricier than mining on land. But hold onto your hats, because researchers from the Shanghai Advanced Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences have whipped up a nanofiber membrane that's not only pulled out kilogram quantities of uranium from seawater but slashed costs down to $150/kg, nearly matching land-based uranium at $130/kg, with projections to hit $100/kg by 2026 👉https://lnkd.in/dyJFdY99.

Why Cameco, Ur-Energy, Uranium Royalty, and Uranium Energy Stocks Are Soaring Today

What Kazatomprom said today
As The Financial Times pointed out this morning, Kazatomprom (literally an abbreviation of "Kazakhstan atomic industry") is the world's largest producer of uranium for nuclear power. Problem is, it's planning to become a smaller producer of uranium as early as next year.
Citing "project delays and sulphuric acid shortages," Kazatomprom cut its uranium production target for 2025 by 17%, to a range of 25,000 to 26,500 metric tons. With Kazatomprom responsible for roughly 20% of world output, that means that global supplies of uranium -- which were already constrained thanks to Russia's war in Ukraine -- will fall by another 3% to 4% next year.
Exactly.....I saw all that on tv several months ago and was verifiably quite flabbergasted.......
I thought - Awwww man - It'd sure make absolutely ZERO sense to attempt investing in A JUNIOR !......
Because.......Man !........Why, that whole thing looks like a costly operation.......
Multiple, many, a gazillion financings required !.....
Heravy on the max dilution.
So there's only 1 company ?.......And it's this chart here ?
Yeesh.......Boy !........Uh.........Well.....At least ;
It seems to be looking "cheaper"
Why they'll probably take that thing right frickin' down........
Down to the lower trendline ?
Boy.....Should'a gotten short it way frickin' back here (which is what I was TRYIN; to say back then).....
That trump's gonna win so there'll be no need for electricity - Just drill baby drill ?

Jul 30, 2024 CEO BBQ (Junior Mining Stocks)
Mike Alkin has been investing in uranium since before we split the atom (allegedly). So, he knows a thing or two about what's happening in uranium land today.
Before Mike started working for himself, he used to work as a short seller. In this conversation, I managed to ask him about shorting in general, and shorting uranium in particular. Furthermore, we talked about uranium stocks, M&A in uranium, contracting, pricing, whatever is happening with Kazatomprom these days, and much more.
Later on, I interviewed Teako Minerals (CSE: TMIN) CEO Sven Gollan.
Teako Minerals’ website: https://teakominerals.com/
Teako Minerals Corp. is a Vancouver-based mineral exploration company committed to acquiring, exploring, and developing mineral properties in Norway, Finland, and Canada. More specifically, they are looking for copper, cobalt, gold, molybdenum, and rare earth elements (REE). The adoption of technologies such as the SCS Exploration Product aligns with its strategy to remain at the forefront of the rapidly evolving mining industry.
