Yeah - those guys are at every show. Ive had long discussions with the SAXET Folk about that very thing. They need to bar all of the booths that sell swatsticas, mien kampf books, belt buckes, jewelry, coins and anything lese that does not relate to a "gun" show. Ive never gone to a gun show wanting to buy coins - most of the guys like them are nothing but a bunch of washed up pawn prokers.

i met a hard core numismatist at a gun show (go fig) who would make a deal with me for 17/per if i bought 2500+, spot was around 12 at that time -

no - it would have to be reclassified as a destructive device if it did - its still a class III but its listed by the ATF as a "AOW" (any other weapon) and only requires a $5.00 stamp - a semi auto version would make it a Class III which would require a $200 stamp.

Oh indeed - its that classic delimma that so amny of us are caught in. Ive just had my eyes opened sice ive been trading in metals - just like how the suppliers choked off the retail inventory when the prices dropped making it impossible to buy when for instance in Canada - there was plenty - the wholesalers created that. You could buy silver eagles but they would cost you $15.45 when silver was at $9.30 an ounce. Of corse if it goes to $45.00 an ounce - all would be forgiven.

this next run on precious metals, i'm out of the market completely, I THINK -

just like the mariner, the older i get the more survivalist tendencies exhibit themselves -

gold is 100% intrinsic in value - it's kind of a "last resort" idea -

right now, gold is squeezed between the falling dow/dollar and hedge fund liquidation -

it may go lower, but should take a little while, IMO -

will be aquiring physical on the next cycle down for my retirement -
