U.S. Oil & Gas plc was formed to exploit the potential for substantial oil and gas finds in one of North America's most prolific oil producing regions, using the most advanced technology available.

U.S. Oil & Gas plc's (Ticker: USOP) core activities are in the USA, with exploration activity in Nevada where the company holds a large lease acreage and is fully funded to drill three wells.  U.S. Oil & Gas is traded on the GXG (MTF) Exchange.

Eblana #1 well
The Eblana  #1  exploration  well,  drilled by U.S. Oil's wholly owned subsidiary  Major  Oil International  LLC, identified  nine  large  potential porous oil reservoir intervals (approx. 1,100  feet cumulative net pay)  and  associated  high fracture  zones before reaching its target depth of 8,550 feet on 26th May 2012.

Advanced  well log processing and interpretation is now complete.   After rigorous petrophysical analysis and reservoir studies, a plan  has been finalised for the next stage of operations.   Using a workover rig, the  Company will production test the well in order to collect  further data  including  flow  rates, reservoir  pressure  and  other  information.  Of the 20 potential payzones identified by the advanced well-log analysis, up to 15 will be perforated.

The  production wellhead has been installed.  Ground operations for the workover programme on the Eblana #1 well will begin on  27th  August, 2012, with production testing to commence  on September 4th.

The next stage
The currently planned workover of the Eblana #1well will allow revision of Oil In Place (OOIP) and other estimates, and the Company will commission a new Competent Person's Report based on the latest data.

To this point, only 25% of the Company's lease area in Hot Creek Valley has been surveyed.  The Company intends to survey the remaining area in the near future.  The Company is also planning its second Hot Creek Valley well, Eblana #2, and the Application to Drill has been filed with the relevant authorities.

Data sets and CPR
U.S. Oil has collected 18 complimentary data sets from 25% of its acreage, including data from 3-D Passive Seismic (IPDS) surveying - the most advanced oil exploration technology of its kind.  Before the Eblana #1 discovery, a February 2012 Competent Person's Report by Forrest Garb & Associates estimated Gross Prospective Resources of 189 MMSTB OOIP (P50) and 67 MMSTB recoverable oil for the surveyed acreage.
