Once again I’m at a loss to understand why neither Mods nor Admin can be arsed to delete obviously OT and PA posts on the VPLM MB (unless of course those posts emanate from critics of that particular long-running penny stock scam, in which case their half-life can be measured in milliseconds):

I have had this problem before but it usually fixes itself but this time it’s been going on for weeks.

My mailbox never shows notifications that someone has replied to one of my posts or sent me a PM. If it was just from one person I would think it was because I had that person on ignore. It’s multiple people and multiple posts or PMs.

Anyone else have this problem?

It’s not worth the price of admission I. An obviously deal with some ads, but the pop ups that never go away and then multiply themselves is a load of crap

If Ihub would up their game, they would have more subscribers

Better product = more revenue

And a lot better ads

Seems ok to me.

There's a rumor going around that says they still take subscriptions that make the ads go away.

That might be a solution.

The first step would be to report messages that you feel violates the rules.

Even at 112.5% it’s hit or miss At 100% it’s ok. I am going to lower the ihub font setting and see if I can fix Safari at 125%

I would think this is an easy bug for the propeller heads at Ihub to adjust

It appears in Safari anything past about 112.5% font zoom and you lose those buttons. I just discovered after you adjust you have to exit ihub and then come back in to have the new settings take effect

I'm glad that worked because I was out of ideas. You can make a page larger by placing 2 fingers on the track pad and moving them away from each other when viewing a page to make the view larger but you would have to do that every time you moved to a new page. I very rarely use my iPhone to surf iHub.

It’s gone again but I know it has to do with the safari settings. I had both buttons on the screen even with some really huge font. Now it’s all gone. I’ll play with this tonight

Is there a limit on how much SPAM a user can post about the same stock over and over again? A user is pumping the same stock on multiple general message boards multiple times a day. I know there is an Ignore feature and I have used it. But now I see other users starting to complain about seeing this person posting multiple times a day and the same copy/paste message being posted on various boards.

Admin Shelly. Is there anything the developers can do to move the buttons inward when large font is selected in Safari ?

Well, Uber, I may be less than helpful on this because I use the Apple Safari browser. For me, I choose the "View" setting in the menu that runs across the very top of the browser window and then choose "Zoom In" or "Zoom Out" from the drop-down menu.

Only other thing I can think of (if the setting change mentioned by Wayne & Shelly doesn't work) is to check if you might have your page view "zoomed in". If so, zoom it out and see if it fixes it.

Could be! @uber darthium go to Settings/My Site Options/Scroll all the way to the bottom and make sure the toggle says "Classic" and not "Latest Post".

I did that looking at both horizontal cs vertical. Same problem. I did a hard restart, I reset network settings, I even went into my Ihub account settings and found where I can remove the “next 10” at the bottom right of posts. I unblocked 6 posters I had forgot I blocked and I forgot ever blocking anyone

Nothing seems to fix hit

On desktop on my account it works fine

I am going to go find an old iPhone or iPad and take a look

Update- on iPad it’s fine. The buttons are there

Update again - it’s not the font. I just adjusted to smallest and it still isn’t there

A thought: Have you tried viewing iHub with your phone in a different orientation (long dimension left-to-right or top to bottom, depending on how you are viewing it now). I've noticed that can impact how a page is displayed on a phone.

I think @k9narc 's idea of decreasing the font is worth a try.

Otherwise, maybe try downloading and trying the app since you're on your mobile device.

Is iHub going to exist forever? If you don't get new members, it's been dying out. There is huge amount of research here. Kinda like a library with the dewy decimal sys thing. So much research and nobody uses it..

Absolute vulgarity & crossed into some pretty weird territory - that was years ago, but I guess that's what happens when you "bash" obvious scams...

I show that you have 6 people on Ignore. You can see them under Settings - top right corner, hover over picture, drop down menu, click Settings.

It’s like this with every post. Those buttons at the top right are gone. They were there several weeks ago. I made some comment about it on a board 3-4 weeks after it happened

This is what I got from the developer: "I see the Next button at both the top and bottom. Is it possibly that he was reading the last post on the board at the time? The last post won't show the Next button since there are no more posts."

If that's not the issue, then my guess is that you likely have someone on ignore that made a post after that one and possibly have any replies to an Ignored Member blocked as well.

It's not berated. But non-English posts are off topic on stock boards. I think it's ok if the post is in another language if it's also in English.

I'm trying to be as neutral as possible. Please let me know if conversations in Spanish are allowed. And if not should be removed
