George, I read the whole article. I came away with the feeling that the author was trying hard to be all things to all people; in other words, he was playing politics. Examples of the author hedging:
'Competition especially stands out, considering that a few of Tesla's rivals already have robotaxi services in selected U.S. markets. But Wood could also be right about Tesla stock soaring more than 5x by 2027.' Competition? Where?
'Wood argued that Tesla has a major advantage because it has more data than all the other autonomous vehicle companies combined.' I personally thought that was a FACT.
'In particular, Wood believes that safety will be a key factor behind Tesla's success.' What does the author think?
'There's one significant fly in the ointment with Wood's full-blown bullish outlook for Tesla, though: It depends on the company rolling out its robotaxi service in the fourth quarter of 2023. That timing appears to be highly unlikely.' Wonder how much difference timing of FSD rollout makes to Cathie's case!
'Many might argue that Wood's bear case price target for Tesla is also unrealistic. However, if her assumptions about the robotaxi market -- and Tesla's advantages in that market -- prove to be correct, so will her prediction about the stock.' That is a typical politician's statement!

Today's price action is typical of most recent days. The price goes up in pre-market action, retreats at the official market open, then slowly climbs. I think this type of action is perhaps typical of a coordinated short attack, perhaps the technicians on this board can chime in. If so, today may be the perfect time to teach the shorts a lesson.
What I love about Cathie Wood is that she is not afraid to stick her neck out. She may be wrong, BUT that does not stop her, or ELON for that matter. NOW, Cathie is on record as saying that TSLA will reach at least $1,400 by 2027. What do you think?

So?
AI doesn't take into account things like the CEO being under multiple investigations that could each lead to criminal charges.
AI doesn't take into account things like the multitude of lawsuits the company is facing.
AI is far from perfect, and can be deadly.
As society begins to use artificial intelligence (AI) systems more extensively, there is an equivalent increase in accidents, near-fatalities, and even mortality caused by AI. According to specialists monitoring AI issues, such incidents-which might range from self-driving car collisions to chat systems spewing racist content-are expected to rise sharply, Newsweek reported.
AI can also go wrong. Analytics Insights listed several AI incidents, including self-driving cars and chatbots suggesting suicide.
Uber tested its self-driving cars in San Francisco in 2016 without first obtaining a state license or consent, which was morally and legally wrong. Additionally, according to internal Uber papers, the self-driving car crossed about six red lights in the city during testing.
Uber combines top-notch vehicle sensors, networked mapping software, and a driver to keep everything under control, making it one of the most blatant examples of AI gone bad. Uber said that the error was the product of a driver's error. Nevertheless, the botched AI project was pretty horrible.
The Register stated that in October, a GPT-3-based chatbot designed to reduce doctors' employment found a creative way to do it by encouraging a fictitious patient to commit suicide. The fake patient asked if they should kill themselves since they felt so bad. The chatbot responded to the sample query with "I think you should."
the AI believes TSLA will reach $390.34 per share by the beginning of 2024 and $570.89 per share by 2025.

That's one reason many Americans won't buy EVs.

You don't need apps to find gas stations, or to pay for gas.
Toyota reveals next-gen EV production line
As it looks to make up for lost time, Toyota is giving us a glimpse of its next-gen EV production line with modern technology like Giga casting, self-propelled assembly lines, and robots to transport finished vehicles.
One of the biggest highlights was its Giga casting technology, a process Tesla introduced at its Fremont factory in 2020.
Toyota also emphasized its self-propelled EV production lines. The technology was developed using sensor technology from autonomous driving to enable “sizable travel at low speeds.” Using self-propelled lines, Toyota can reduce the need for conveyor equipment, a major cost associated with manufacturing.
Toyota also introduced a three-part modular structure consisting of the vehicle’s front, center, and rear to enhance work efficiency and further reduce complexity.
Facing a labor shortage, the automaker showed off its Vehicle Logistics Robot (VLR), designed to improve vehicle transportation at the finished vehicle yard.
Marriott taps EV Connect as charger provider, countering Hilton’s recent alliance with Tesla
Hospitality group Marriott International has announced an agreement with charging services provider EV Connect to implement and manage chargers across thousands of hotels in the US and Canada. The news comes weeks after Hilton Hotels announced a similar agreement with Tesla.
Marriott International is a hotel group consisting of 31 different brands that make up over 8,500 properties across 139 different territories around the globe.
According to details from EV Connect today, it has been selected by Marriott as the hotel group’s preferred charger provider for the US and Canada through its own namesake platform.
The veteran company will enable turnkey charging solutions to 6,000 qualifying hotels under the Marriott umbrella in which those locations can choose their ideal hardware and scale as needed. The EV Connect platform will provide consultation, installation, maintenance, and software support.
e hospitality industry. In early September, Hilton Hotels announced a deal with Tesla to deploy over 20,000 Universal Wall Connectors across 20,000 locations – building upon a relationship that dates back to 2017.
With chargers soon rolling out across the Marriott network as well, EV drivers should be emboldened to take more road trips without having to stress as much about where to replenish overnight.
Bluesky sees record signups day after Muskrat says X will go paid-only
Would you pay to use X, the platform formerly known as Twitter? Apparently, all of these new Bluesky users don't seem so keen to do so.
Bluesky, the "decentralized" X-alternative social media platform, just had its biggest influx of new users ever on Tuesday. This happened just one day after Elon Musk made headlines during a livestream with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying he plans to charge all of X's users a "small monthly payment" to use the platform.
As of 2:40pm ET, more than 42,000 new users have joined Bluesky, making Tuesday, September 19, the biggest signup day yet for the currently invite-only platform that launched earlier this year. At publishing time of this article, Bluesky had 1,113,820 users in total.
It's impossible to know whether Musk's comments about charging users to post on X really played a role in this, but it almost certainly had some effect.

DOJ is investigating Elmo's Tesla perks
US prosecutors are looking at perks Tesla may have offered Elon Musk, including a proposed glass house, as part of a criminal investigation.
The sweeping probe by Manhattan federal prosecutors into Tesla’s use of company funds suggest they are pursuing potential criminal charges.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York is closely examining personal benefits the electric carmaker may have given its chief executive.
Musk, the richest man in the world, famously does not draw a cash salary from Tesla but is compensated in stock options.
But prosecutors are investigating whether Tesla properly disclosed any perks Musk might have received in his role, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The investigation includes a proposed house for the billionaire known as “Project 42”.
Plans for the structure suggested it would be “an expansive glass building” near Tesla’s Austin-based headquarters, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Musk has stated there is no glass house “built, under construction or planned”, joking “metaphors don’t count”.
A separate civil investigation into the project is also underway, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Federal regulations require perks or personal benefits for company executives exceeding $10,000 to be disclosed.
Things like housing allowances, planes, tuition fees for offspring can all be considered personal benefits.
Company transactions above $120,000 in which an executive has a material interest must also be reported.

It maybe classified under CAT, but its not normal turbulence. Based on this description, it sounds like it could be connected to the magnetic reconnection events that Dr Solis talks about on his paper to NASA.
Wind shear, a difference in relative speed between two adjacent air masses, can produce vortices, and when of sufficient degree, the air will tend to move chaotically.[7]
A strong anticyclone vortex can also lead to CAT.[8]
Gaps in the geomagnetic field allow increased cosmic frigid temperatures into the atmosphere, resulting in heat/cold atmospheric differentials, increased winds, and increased isarithmic lines.
Vortices appear in regions where they are not expected.
That's called turbulence - look it up.
Suddenly the plane starts shaking. Then the plane drops like a rock. Your stomach leaps into your throat. But there’s no storm outside, not even clouds. What’s going on?
This clear-air turbulence, as it’s called, is caused by patches of air swirling chaotically within the world’s jet streams—strong air currents that circle the globe from west to east and that we see on weather maps as wide, wavy lines that bend around low- and high-pressure centers. Airlines like to fly within these bands of fast-moving air to boost speeds and reduce travel times if the bands are near enough to the flight’s desired direction. The swirls, invisible to the eye, batter a plane’s wings. And when the battering is strong enough, it jerks the plane up or down. Passengers freeze, and flight attendants stumble. Over the past four decades clear-air turbulence has increased by up to 55 percent in various regions around the world. Models predict another 100 to 200 percent increase over the next 30 to 60 years.

Yet EM radiation can even cause hardened military vehicles to glitch, not unlike Teslas, and crash.
Yet EM radiation can even cause hardened military vehicles to glitch, not unlike Teslas, and crash. In addition to EM radiation there is a new phenomenon planes are flying into causing them to drop throusands of feet in mere seconds. Like whatever it is that Matthew Mcconaugheys plane flew into.
I was curious if this phenomenon is at all connected to the magnetic reconnect that pulls coldness of space into the earths exosphere and thermosphere? There has been sudden drops in thermosphere temperature over the last few days despite increase in CME activity.
Matthew McConaughey has talked about the feeling of “suspended disbelief” he and his wife experienced last month when their plane suddenly dropped 4,000ft mid-flight.
The Oscar-winning actor can be heard describing the “zero gravity” occurrence on an episode of Let’s Talk Off Camera, Kelly Ripa’s SiriusXM podcast, reports Fox News.

Tesla just announced a major partnership with Apple — here’s how it promises to make drivers’ lives easier

Electronic vehicle company Tesla is making it easier for Apple users to interact with their vehicles. It recently started introducing new Apple Shortcuts via a mobile app update.
This feature will allow Apple users to access vehicle and climate controls from the Shortcuts feature, such as starting preconditioning, locking and unlocking the vehicle, and enabling dog mode, which allows users to set an internal temperature for the car and moderate camera features to check in on their pups.
Users can access these functions with the tap of a widget button on their home screen or by utilizing Siri. Users can also set a charge limit and stop and start charging.
In the past, Tesla users have been able to access some of these features using the Tesla app or third-party apps like Tessie. Now, users can integrate the functionality into their iPhone shortcuts for better ease of use.
Although this feature is handy for Apple users, there are some limitations that will need to be improved. To trigger the shortcuts automation via Siri, users must memorize and repeat the instruction they want Siri to perform verbatim.
However, Shortcuts provides easy access to link chain instructions with the click of a single button. For example, users can program their Shortcuts to lock the vehicle and close the windows.
In addition, users can enable the Automations feature with shortcuts, which creates Shortcuts for when certain conditions are met, such as at a certain time of day or when the vehicle is at a certain location.
This Apple feature has other practical uses for non-Tesla users, too, such as automatically turning on the Low Power Mode when the phone reaches a critical battery level.
The Shortcuts feature will increase the paired functionality between Tesla and Apple. Plus, it will be especially useful for folks who forget to lock their car after arriving home or need to pop the trunk of the car with their hands full of groceries.
Gene Munster: Last week I estimated Tesla would emerge with a cost structure 30% below the Big Three. Now I believe it will be 48%.

There's been a sudden drop in thermosphere temperature making me wonder if theres been some temperature loss to space during magnetic reconnection as described by Dr Solis?
Earth’s 400,000,000 mile long magnetic field decomposes, and like that of the sun, becomes chaotic, creates irregular magnetic loops and cold spots and is vulnerable to galactic-cosmic and solar output.
earth’s geomagnetic field becomes chaotic, and magnetic lines go out of earth like coronal mass ejection (CME), when the plasma comes back, it creates much colder sunspots and the chaotic field creates areas of extreme low-pressure vortices all over the earth. These vortices are the mechanisms through which the e
