Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX, NYSE: TCK) announces that it has priced its previously announced offering of senior unsecured notes. Teck will issue $1.25 billion in senior unsecured notes, consisting of $650 million in five-year notes and $600 million in eight-year notes. The five-year notes will bear interest at the rate of 8% per annum and will be callable on or after June 1, 2018. The eight-year notes will bear interest at the rate of 8.5% per annum and will be callable on or after June 1, 2019. The offering is expected to close around June 7, subject to customary closing conditions.

Copper down .03, oil down 1.40 and tck only down .24? I think everyone should be very careful here. Monday will be a very interesting day. If the cartel doesn't come out will a complete freeze or cut(including Iran) oil imo will go south very quick and so will teck.

The market is nervous and on edge. To see daily 10-20% price swings on teck is mind blowing. For now I'm playing the swings till things settle down. Unfortunately I wasn't around and missed this mornings action.

Not that charts matter, LOL! Perhaps you should re-draw that ruler line. Especially when looking at a 6-12 month chart we could have a nice cup with handle formation. Not to mention a short term bear flag which seems to be playing out. Guess we'll see how quadruple witching plays out. Got any copper or zinc charts?

Picked up a few more yesterday at the close. Saw a PDAC interview last week with Don Lindsay and feel good
about this one. I will continue to trade Teck till I see some stability in the market...then go long.

Do you even read what you post? I do not care how it has eroded over the last year as it bottomed out a few weeks ago and is a great bottom play from that area for traders who have taken advantage of that low. It is now up over $8.00 from a $2.65 52 week low. I never rode it down from $16 and would hope that no trader did. Easy math and easier money.

Drop in price a few weeks ago - you might want to take a look at the one year chart. This was almost $16 in early May 2015. It proceeded down a steep decline and closing year end at sub $4. This hasn't been just a couple of weeks decline - it has been eroding away for a year. If you are going to post at least take a look at reality here. Thanks.
