Did I just see news that T-Mobile is shuttering their flagship store in S.F.?
OK, great news TMUS and also some good info for any customers with the same frustrating issue. You have to have corporate apply a document called a "UMTS" to your account and then go in store to pick up your replacement phone. That is the only way the store will be able to waive the taxes and fees. Long story short, I went to an entirely different store that had the phone in stock. They honored the UMTS and I am now home with my new phone. Thanks Tmobile. We are friends again and I will try to stick around as a loyal customer for another 21.5 years. I do have to say that internal company communication needs to improve though as almost no one knew how to handle the issue completely. In the end I got a good store and a good corporate person on the phone together and it all worked out. Ok, now back to saving the world.
If I remember correctly, this will now be the third class action I will be included in against tmobile. The first two were data breaches and they think credit monitoring through experian is some kind of consolation. I had to get a new debit card for my checking account after fraudulent charges started showing up. What's experian gonna do about that?
I want money now for the second breach as I already have credit monitoring through experian from the first breach. I want my FREE replacement phone too now as there is nothing wrong with mine at all. I guess the plan was to turn my 4GLTE phone into a brick so I would give them money. Nope. Now they may pay me. They could at least reimburse me for the tank and a half of gas I'll have wasted on going to their stores to have pointless conversations with useless, clueless, unmotivated employees who have no inventory.
I've had an account with Tmobile for twenty years and I gotta say I now hate them. I think they are about to be sued by a lot of people. I know I'm looking forward to jumping on as many lawsuits as I can find. They have pulled some really dirty moves lately.
They kept sending me emails and texts saying my 4GLTE phone would no longer be compatible with their 5G network and that I would need a new phone to stay connected. The emails explicitly say the new phone is "On Us", "no taxes", "no fees", "no plan change", and "in store only".
So...four stores later, including a corporate location, and not one of them would honor the deal. Two stores wanted to charge me almost 100 bucks in taxes and fees. One store said they were out of stock and couldn't offer me any other phones, which was a lie, as there are two other phones I am now supposed choose from. The corporate location said they were out of stock, couldn't waive the fees or taxes, and that I would have to CALL corporate.
So, I call corporate for the umteenth time and now they say I gotta go to a 5th store on michigan avenue to get them to...wait for it...order the phone for me because they don't have it in stock. That's right, a supervisor on the phone couldn't just ship the phone to my address. No, I have to go across the city to order a phone from a store that doesn't even have it in stock. That's their solution. RIDICULOUS.
I've missed so many calls(37 voicemails the other day) and had so many dropped calls as well as a horrible data connection for two months now. I've missed deliveries, telehealth appointments, and more. I am furious with tmobile.
Tomorrow, I will go to their store to order or hopefully just pick up a new phone, and if it doesn't go well, I will be calling these attorneys below. I will likely call them anyway when I get back. I suggest anyone else with the same issue from their latest "upgrade" do the same.

SpaceX T-Mobile deal
This is something special https://t.co/LSMIRYT8zf
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) August 24, 2022
Hey y’all - Elon Musk tweeted there is some kind of deal about to be announced tomorrow with T-Mobile.
It is related to spacex(Starlink) doing something with T-Mobile.
Tmus pays no dividend...so nobody posts messages...is that the reason? Will somebody give me a clue, cuz I just checked in on this board. I thought the earnings report on Wednesday would cause some discussion... like "earnings are expected to be strong." Seriously, is everyone boycotting this board because tmus doesn't pay dividends, like their competitors T and VZ ?
Well my uncle called TMobile because my nanorobots are hacking his phone and still cyborging me so she is gonna call back in a hour and track any unusual activity on his line

$TMUS, Got a mention on Mad Money by Jim Cramer last night!

If you are a patience investor.
Now how much should of TMUS dropped if it's anticipated they will spend $10B more on 5G? How much were they worth at that time in market cap. Now minus $10B from that market cap - what share price does that equal. That is where they should be now!!
