Imake,
I am interested in options too, and have traded here and there with not much success so far. if you don't mind, could you share your success with options such as %profits vs. %profit so far. Also, what is your strategy, tools and research?
Thanks,
crk
Yes and No, lol.
I subscribed for just over a year i think, the guy had a few runs of hot and cold. There was one period of about 4 weeks that every play he had lost money.
I learned a ton and gained some skill, much more volatility and profit/loss potential. Since I am a gambler, trading options is much more appealing to me then trading stocks. I am still trading options and read his newsletter, just not a paid subscriber anymore as I feel I can forecast my own plays using other tools and research.
I recommend it still, and thing the cd's that he sends out with your initial order are well worth the subscription price themselves.
Robert
OT: Did the Cashflow Heaven option service work well for you? I your old posting in "Cashflow Heaven 2005" forum. Wondering if you are still subscribed to them and have any opinions?
Thanks
The recent PP was not only under-subscribed, some placees were pulling out even at the last minute. So money's tightened up a lot.
That being said, the catalysts are just around the corner. The 3d model is up on the website and the company has been pulling the long-delayed bulk sample since April 9. The first 5,000 tons have been concentrated at this point and should have been or are being picked for diamonds. If the numbers are anything like the DD samples or the bulk gives up rocks like the ones they've displayed already we should be in very good shape very quickly. Either way, that news really is imminent at this point.
I would also like to hear some results from the other places they've discovered.
The native land is a non-issue. The Cinta Larga land is 70 kilometers away from where we're working. The claims aren't disputed. I agree with you the address is a drawback. Ther is a mining and business friendly government, but while there are a lot of diamonds, they are mostly being worked as alluvials, and no one has proven up an economical kimberlite source yet. I think that should change quickly too.
I'm going to buy some more next week if it stays at this level.

well the downside on this one from me research was some of the "native land claims" issues in Brazil and also the brazilian economy at the present time.
I have satisfied the majority of my concerns with a couple of calls and some political discussions with unrelated parties, but still think there are some economic factors that are holding this one back from reaching a value on par with where it would be if it was located elsewhere.
Still a pretty solid play with verified production and progress on a regular basis. Its not glamorous or getting any hype. The recent share offerings seem to be what has been setting the market price more then anything else.
Robert
I'm nowhere near there... not even sure why I'd go though. I expect them to reveal some numbers before that though. I'm not an insider, but I was buying last week.
I got this stock from the same guy that gave me NTC (NATUF) at .17 which is still hanging in the low one dollar+ range, but it's fundamentally sound and making at least some money.
I saw SOLA at .10 but my buys are around .30 now. I still believe it could be another Ekati. I don't know if it has those grades, but it has a lot of volume in a bunch of small pipes and dikes it's a lot cheaper to work in Brazil, then in a lake in the Artic. (Just for variety though, we have a property up there on the ice road too)
On the subject of insiders, Bill Pfaffenberger ( http://www.agoracom.com/ir/torchriver/management ) is up for election to the board. He's been involved in a lot of the money raising, has some of his own involved and is supposedly touring the US raising awareness even as we speak.
Things should start to move here... but then, I know I've said that before.
i would expect to see some inside volume in the days immediately before the agm. Are you planning to attend it? I will actually be in the city that day, wasnt planning on spending the time in a boardroom, lol.
Robert
I know I've been overly optimistic here before, but I believe diamonds are being counted right now from the first 5,000 tons of the bulk sample.
AGM is July 11, and I expect that management will want the grade out there before that happens.
If anyone's still here (???) look at the website for the latest Powerpoint. There's a 3d model of the Carolina. IR tells me Carolina plus the dike system make about 20 million tons. A grade of .25 carats per will give us 5 million carats with profits in the $140 range. ($14 per ton stripping costs) Higher grades will mean more profit per carat obviously.
There have been a lot of delays, but they look to be over.
Next up is the Chiroca kimberlite, larger it seems and also known to be diamondiferous. It's 3.2 kilometers away to the south west give or take a few points and over good terrain, so it will be able to use the same plant. There's another unnamed kimberlite in the south westerly direction about 1 kilometer off, but there's no information about that yet. There could easily be 60 to 100 million tons in the area. Grade is yet to be determined, but now is probably a good time to buy.
Yea I know... I said that before. Hey, it hasn't been that long though.

tlc... Don't concern yourself with that guy. He's an imposter from another board, who actually came here to harass me for my lack of orthodox faith. He generally has some decent information along with a bad case of what my drill sergeant used to call "barfus of the blowhole."
Like I said though, he has some decent information... just an attitude that makes you want to avoid him.
Jeesh...!!
sorry....
Ive been long a while now..
vent away..
so will I..
I understand, but I'm not worried a bit. I'm maybe a little disappointed over the timing, but they keep finding kimberlite and they keep finding diamonds. They're almost laying around on the ground there.
So far there are 2 pipes a dike system and a couple anomalous areas with diamonds (this last and the Chiroco deposit) within a very small area... as in one plant would work for them all.
Sola's Kimberlite Indicator Mineral Exploration Program Uncovers a 2.3 Carat Gem Quality Diamond on Its Rondonia Claims
Thursday March 20, 9:15 am ET
Follow-Up Drilling Initiated Immediately
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 20, 2008 -- During the latest phase of its regional kimberlite indicator mineral (KIM) exploration program, Sola Resource Corp (CDNX:SL.V - News) (Other OTC:SOLAF.PK - News) is concentrating on an area to the west of the Carolina kimberlite that so far has yielded a number of ground-based geophysics anomalies and (KIM) occurrences.
Sola's recent geochemical survey has lead to the discovery of a sizeable macrodiamond on the Company's claims, approximately 3.2 km WSW of the Carolina kimberlite pipe. This macrodiamond is a gem-quality octahedron, white in colour and weighs 2.3 carats. The diamond was accompanied by pyropic garnets and was found within 100 metres of two other previously reported smaller macrodiamonds. This area is discrete from the Carolina pipe/dike system.
Ground-based geophysics in the area has produced numerous anomalies. On the basis of this new diamond discovery, drill testing of these anomalies will begin immediately.
Thomas Kovacs, President of Sola Resource Corp. stated: "Sola has again demonstrated the rewards of the systematic Kimberlite Indicator Mineral program and of our ground-based geophysical surveys. We anticipate that the latest discovery will add significantly to the size and potentials of a kimberlite cluster around the Espigao d'Oeste area"

Sola Resource Corp.: Discovery of Another Kimberlite Occurrence
Tuesday March 11, 4:44 pm ET
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 11, 2008 -- Sola Resource Corp. (the "Company") (CDNX:SL.V - News) (Other OTC:SOLAF.PK - News), is pleased to report that it has discovered a new occurrence of kimberlite on its claims in the state of Rondonia, Brazil.
The kimberlite was intersected 7 meters below surface using an augur drill. The test area is situated 1,100 meters East-South-East of the Carolina Kimberlite and is distinct from the existing kimberlite and dike system currently undergoing testing. The new occurrence is considered to be part of a cluster of kimberlites in the Carolina region.
Further drilling and pitting will be undertaken to define the geochemical nature and geometry of the kimberlite.
The discovery is a direct result of the targets generated by the regional kimberlite indicator mineral (KIM) survey and the ground geophysical survey that continue on the Company's extensive exploration tenure.
As the surveys continue, more targets are being generated and prioritized for augur drilling, pitting and diamond drilling.

Actually Sortagreen, it was 2,000 mtrs on a planned 9 hole first phase of drilling. They drilled 8 holes and then proceeded to a second phase of another 1,000 mtrs into the Carolina pipe of 9 holes using a larger rig, not as you stated as being in the surrounding area. The smaller rig that did the initial phase of 8 holes went on to do exploratory drilling in the surrounding area ... this was not part of the first or second phase. The third phase of drilling is also going into the Carolina pipe and the associated dike. This phase is a planned 1200 mtrs.
Well, seeing how familiar you are with this project, I think I am now convinced to take a punt at her !!!
Is this the report you didn't save Sortagreen?
http://www.vsacapital.com/pdf/Sola%20Research%20note%20print%20final.pdf
I have scanned over the website and it does have some good information. It seems to be a bit dated. Do you know of any other sources of information on the company?
The website’s a little dated. There have been some complaints about that. Here’s the latest presentation I have. I’m assuming it’s accurate.
http://dumbfukistan.org/pdf/sola07.pdf
Any analyst coverage?
There was something recently… and I don’t seem to have saved it. I’ll look around.
Maenwhile Sprott and RAB special situations are institutional investors, though neither has produced a report for us
I am particularily interested in management and their background, do you have faith in them? The corporate descriptions are impressive. Have these guys ever made world class discoveries before?
If what I’m being told is true (and I always qualify like that) they seem to be very accomplished, especially John Dupuis and Roger Morton.
Why do you think the company has not reported any results from the drilling? Was it a 2000 foot drill program or did you mean 2000 mtr? I read the past news releases, the company reported 2000 mtrs. They reported a second phase of 1000 and a third phase of 1200 mtrs. All on one pipe?
Yes, 2000 mtr… sorry. I’m a little put out by them not reporting results yet but they just acquired more adjacent land and they may just be keeping quiet to misdirect. Those phases aren’t one pipe. It was 2000 Carolina 1000 surrounding area (look at the magnetics in the presentation. And apparently they've discovered a dike system and a sill on one end of the Carolina that should improve the tonnage nicely.
What is the lab for?
I was under the impression it was to process our core and bulk samples… apparently that’s not going to be it though. Last I heard was it would be used to process samples from the rest of the holdings
What is the current cash position?
At year’s beginning it was $1.5 million. We’ll be needing more soon, A PP with Mineral fields was just done but I think it’s earmarked for the NWT property.
b]Do think the Garimpero mining results are worth putting any weight on? Brazil does have a colored history around the diamond trade.
Good point. Some of the rocks could have come from Cinta Larga for all we know. Still there seems to be ample evidence that there are plenty of them that come from Carolina
The companies grab sample is impressive. Was that taken from representative kimberlite? The company reports fresh but slightly weathered material. It also reports weathered kimberlite to a depth of 25 mtrs. Am I to believe the grab sample could be representative for all 25 mtrs?
There seem to be 5 variants of kimberlite from discrete intrusive periods. The bulk sample is supposed to get 5 thousand tons from each one. But that was said when there were supposed to be 4 different types. Now that it’s said to be 5 I don’t know if they’ll take a larger sample or go to 4 thousand tons each.
There’s a rumor that one of those variants is enormously rich. I don’t give credence to rumors that the company isn’t willing to say out loud. But it’s tantalizing.
Sorry for all the questions, I am trying to get my head around why this thing is trading so low. It doesn't seem to make sense.
The junior resource market is beaten down. I hate to think management is sitting on the price so as to let their friends in cheap… but that wouldn’t be unheard of and they parcel out information with a teaspoon. Not everyone is thrilled with that. I question it often.
I have been in cash for the last few months. I was told about this project by a friend in Penn. She went to a presentation put on by the company sometime last year.
A presentation? Where?
I will take a run at it but I need to wrap my head around the lack of perfomance over the last year.
I’m being patient. A few months will tell something… I don’t expect they’re going to drag it out too much longer, but I’ve been wrong before on this one.
Does the company have what it takes to pull off a project like this one? My friend is sold on it. She bought in last year. Her holdings are large enough to scare me but she's confident it's a sure thing for at least 1,000%.
I think they can do it. There have been a few missteps… It happens.
I try not to hold anything large enough to scare me, but I have a good chunk of this. If they can keep the dilution down over the next couple of months I don’t think her 1000% is out of line.
Did you actually just register so you could get on this board? I notice you haven’t posted anywhere else. Do you own anything else?
Hi Sortagreen. Thanks for the reply.

I've been a little frustrated with their pace, but the setbacks have been administrative.
The company is exploring a huge parcel in western Brazil with many discrete diamondiferous targets.
The most advanced of these is the Carolina pipe and what appears to be a dike system and perhaps a cluster of pipes around it. Sola's taken several thousand feet of drill core out of the area, supposedly 2000 from the Carolina but they haven't been analyzed. The program has expanded from its inception and the Carolina seems to extend beyond the 2.5 hectares or so they originally thought given it's surface expression. It seems to sill out toward the southwest so the resource is larger than we thought.
Bulk sampling is underway and we expect to see 20,000 tons of sample by the end of March.
The cores were supposed to have been analysed at a lab we were setting up in Brazil, then the equipment got held up in custom for 5 months, and now it looks like those cores are going to have to go elsewhere anyway to comply with Canada's 43-101 reporting standards.
I've given up on calling timelines. They fall apart too quickly but outside of some minor dilution, I'm not too concerned on most days. This company seems to really have the goods.
costs are like $6 per carat to extract down there. Weather is good, land is clear around the Carolina. Diamonds out of this particluar pipe are fetching $200 per carat. .1 carats per ton would be economic. We're looking for a lot more than that. Garimpero or "artisanal" mining operations (that means guys with shovels) pulled 12,000 carats out of there in the last year before Sola got it. There may be some concentration at the top but company grab samples taken out of the kimberlite itself seem to confirm a fairly rich CPT ratio. How rich is hard to say. Canadian law doesn't allow them to go into detail unless they can confirm it by NI 43-101 standards.
Even though this stock trades on the pinks here it's actually a reporting stock in Canada. The ticker is SL.V. Canadian law on these things has some pretty stringent standards that helps investors to avoid scams. Lots of information is available on the company wesite as well. http://www.solaresourcecorp.com/
I don't know if this thing will fly by May. Like I said I've given up on calling timelines.
But. If there are 20 million tons at .25 carats per, that's 5 million carats at $194 profit or nearly a billion dollars. That's looks like a pretty good bet too. It looks likely enough that this is a $5-$7 stock at the point the bulk gets read. Or at least it should be. That doesn't even count how much blue sky there is down the line or the fact that they just picked up 70% of anadvanced project up on the ice road on out by Ekati and Diavik. It has a lot of potential.
So... when these guys finish dickin' around we could get really healthy here. I'd recommend getting in now.
I see this is your first post ever. What else do you like?
Hi all,
I like the chances here, how long do you think before they come up with results?
Will they release results before May. I might take a punt at this one.
Anybody care to share the highlights as they see them going forward?
Regards, DC.
yes 2.8 million shares at 35 cents will set a resistance level there.
Robert
There's news. Not really what I was waiting for, but news of acquisitions and financing. The Carolina pipe seems to be a little larger than its surface expression and the 3d model is delayed while they drill a bit more. It's a good kind of delay, but it doesn't add to my patience much. I'd prefer they'd release what they already have to tell you the truth.

Sola Resource Corp.: New Property Acquisitions, MineralFields Group Financing
Thursday February 7, 10:00 am ET
Brazilian Property Acquisition
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 7, 2008 -- SOLA RESOURCE CORP. (CDNX:SL.V - News)(Other OTC:SOLAF.PK - News) ("Sola" or the "Company"), is pleased to report that it has received its exploration license on 8,000 hectares of new mineral tenure adjacent to and East of its existing claims in Rondonia, Brazil. The new area is highly prospective and regional geochemical sampling on the area is underway.
Carolina Up-date
The regional kimberlite indicator mineral (KIM) survey and ground geophysics continues on Sola's extensive exploration tenure. In the past few weeks, unusually heavy rains have hampered fieldwork in the area, but crews continue to collect sample data.
Drill Programs
The drill program on the Carolina has been prolonged in order to determine the relationship between the kimberlite pipe and the recently discovered dike system. In addition, the southern extent of the pipe that was previously demarcated is now open with the discovery of more kimberlite. Recent pitting to the south of the former presumed boundary encountered kimberlite under approximately 6 meters of sand. More pitting and grid testing of the Carolina Pipe's boundary is underway to better define its true surface extent.
Drilling on the Dike system has been hindered due to the aforementioned heavy rains. Drill Pads have been constructed and exploration drilling is on-going.
The bulk sample is on-going as planned and the Company will report updates as it progresses.
NWT Property Option Agreement
The Company is pleased to announce that it has entered into an option agreement with Diamond Hawk Mining Corp., whereby it will be entitled to earn up to a 70% interest in the Company's McKay Lake Diamond Property in the N.W.T.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Company must make a cash payment of $50,000 and spend $1,000,000 on exploration by December 31, 2008, to earn a 60% interest. In order to earn an additional 10% interest, Sola must spend $500,000 by December 31, 2009. After completion of the earn-in Diamond Hawk will have a carried 30% interest in the property.
The McKay Lake Property is a large claim block, highly prospective for the discovery of a significant diamond deposit(s). The claims encompass approximately 200,000 acres and are located in the N.W.T., 250 kilometers from Yellowknife. The Property is located in the center of the prolific Slave Craton (where greater than 300 kimberlites have been discovered since 1991).
Previous work completed on the claims has identified 14 advanced targets generated from airborne geophysics and geochemical sample data. A number of the targets are ready for drill testing. They are along strike and approximately 40 km South of the BHP Ekati diamond mine, 60 km South of the Diavik mine and 35 km North of the De Beers-Snap Lake mine. Sola expects to mobilize a rig on the winter ice road that runs through the claim block as soon as possible.
Financing the MacKay Lake Exploration Program
The Company is pleased to announce a non-brokered private placement of $1,000,000.00 through the sale of 2,857,142 flow-through units ("FT Units") at $0.35 each to the MineralFields Group. Each unit consists of one common share of the Company and one-half of one share purchase warrant (the "Warrant" or "Warrants"). Each two Warrants will entitle the holder to purchase one common share for $0.50 for an 18 month period.
"We are very pleased to be entering into this relationship with MineralFields Group", said Thomas Kovacs, President and CEO. "This is an important milestone in the growth of Sola Resource Corp. and we look forward to working with the MineralFields Group as we develop our holdings in the Slave Diamond Province."

bit of a pop today, maybe that means they will be releasing some friday news?
Robert
Well, I was hoping we'd have some news to celebrate by now. I still love the story, but I'm less than thrilled by the waiting game. Supposedly the bulk sample was to get underway in January after some tuning problems in November and December.
The plant's there. Supposedly the lab's operational which will get us expedited and far less expensive results. So we'll see.
I'll keep ya' all posted.
.35 CAD right now.
It bottomed at .22... bummer, but there were supposed to be some drill results by now. Looks like they'll be out in January sometime. On the other hand they're expanding the tonnage at Carolina and outlining the dike system there.
The 20,000 ton bulk should start in January and be done by March. Things are coming along. I'm sitting tight on this one. Nothing has changed.
31.5 cents going into christmas. Just thought I would post that for reference sake in the future.
Robert

Sola Resource Corp.: Drill Program and Exploration in Rondonia, Brazil Pushes Ahead
9/25/2007
- Drill program on Carolina kimberlite expanding
CALGARY, ALBERTA, Sep 25, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --
Sola Resource Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: SL) (OTCBB: SOLAF) continues with its drill program on the diamondiferous Carolina kimberlite body and on nearby ground-based geophysical targets near Espigao d'Oeste in the State of Rondonia, NW Brazil.
To date, 8 HQ diamond-drill holes (C-001 to C-008) have been completed. All of these holes intersected diatremic kimberlite. The kimberlite exhibits some 4 variant lithologies, resulting from various eruptive/irruptive cycles, which augmented the volcanic system. Another nine holes are now being drilled on the Carolina kimberlite, using the second, newly mobilized, larger drill. The data from these new holes and from others planned for the near future will facilitate the ongoing synthesis of the 3-dimensional model of the kimberlite body. The smaller, more mobile diamond-drill rig has been mobilized to test a series of exploration targets, the first being a Magnetic-EM ground-based geophysical anomaly, which was identified just to the SE of the Carolina kimberlite. The first angled drill hole (CR-001) on this anomaly intersected 4 metres of fresh kimberlite cutting granitic rocks. This and the geophysical data infer that the Carolina kimberlite is part of a larger linear eruptive/irruptive system, which trends NW-SE across the property. A second hole (CR-002), from the same set-up is now being drilled to test the new kimberlite extension at depth.
The latest drilling has shown that the Carolina kimberlite is not an isolated entity, but one part of a larger, elongated eruptive/irruptive system. Above all, these new data have clearly demonstrated the efficacy of the ground-based geophysical Magnetic- and EM-surveys.

It's been a good bounce. Did you get in? They were up around 50 cents before, so a little good news should bring that level back. I actually think they'll blow right through a dollar this fall.
A couple more verified sightings like these, 52 and 53 carats each (recovered from the Carolina by local garimperos, or artisinal miners, otherwise known as guys with shovels) should do it.
5000 ton bulk sample should be in process or starting in the next few weeks depending on how you read their schedule.
Here's a more active board for them. Good luck.

Sola Resource Corp.: Drilling of Carolina Kimberlite Pipe Progressing Well
6/20/2007
- Major drill program moving ahead
CALGARY, ALBERTA, Jun 20, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --
Sola Resource Corp. (TSX VENTURE: SL) (the "Company") is recording great success with its drill program on the diamond-bearing Carolina kimberlite pipe near Espigao d'Oeste in the State of Rondonia in northwestern Brazil.
The initial diamond drill hole DDH C-001, located at the centre of a 1.5 hectare (3.7 acre) cleared sector of weathered and undisturbed kimberlite, is progressing well through the kimberlite. It is currently at a depth of 311 metres (1020 ft) and has encountered 100% diatremic kimberlite with sporadic, post-eruptive zeolite and carbonate hydrothermal alteration. The drilling has so far demonstrated that the original crater facies of the eruptive system has been removed by erosion. The drilling has also indicated that the tropical weathering of the pipe extends down to around 25 metres (82 ft) below surface. Thus a considerable volume of easily excavatable weathered kimberlite will be accessible during the upcoming bulk-sampling phases.
Drill hole C-001 is the first of a series of 9 diamond drill holes totaling 2000 metres, which are currently being drilled to transect the Carolina kimberlite. These 9 holes are providing data for the ongoing construction of a Vulcan 3-D model of the Kimberlite that will be used in calculating tonnages for future development and mining scenarios.
A Letter of Intent has been signed between Sola Exploracao Mineral Ltda (a subsidiary of Sola Resource Corp) and Mineracao Comemoracao Ltda. This agreement pertains to an option agreement regarding permitted minerals claims (totaling 120,524.4 hectares i.e. 1205 km2) located in the municipalities of Pimenta Bueno, Cacoal and Espigao d'Oeste in Rondonia.
The Letter of Intent defines a Period of Due Diligence of 60 days from the date of signing of the initial agreement to allow completion of a study of all existing data, samples and legal documents. Should Sola then desire to exercise the option to explore the claims, it and its local operator Canamera Mineracao Ltda will be committed to a minimum of US$500,000 in exploration expenditure over a 2 year period.
CEO Thomas Kovacs stated, "With the tremendous successes being recorded both in our drilling of the Carolina kimberlite pipe and in our regional exploration programs, our enthusiasm for expansion of Sola's interests beyond the 4,000 square kilometre level in Rondonia increases daily."

Sola Resource Corp.: Kimberlite Exploration Program Moves Into Top Gear
6/11/2007
- Major drill program commences
- First diamond drill hole progressing on the Carolina kimberlite
- Field staff increases facilitate acceleration of exploration
CALGARY, ALBERTA, Jun 11, 2007 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX News Network) --
Sola Resource Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SL) is progressing with its major drill program on and in the vicinity of the diamond-bearing Carolina kimberlite near Espigao d'Oeste in the State of Rondonia in northwestern Brazil.
The first diamond drill hole, DDH CK-001, is positioned near the centre of the 1.5 hectare (3.7 acre) cleared sector of weathered and undisturbed kimberlite mentioned in the Company's recently disseminated news release of May 24, 2007. This drill is currently progressing well through the kimberlite. The hole is the first of a series of 9 diamond drill holes totaling 2000 metres, which are planned through the Carolina kimberlite. These 9 holes will provide data for the construction of a 3-D model of the kimberlite which will be necessary in calculating potential tonnages for any future development and mining scenarios.
A further 1000 metre program of diamond drilling is being allocated to the testing of other anomalies discovered in the general vicinity of the Carolina kimberlite.
Sola now has 50 field personnel involved in the exploration programs in Rondonia. The geochemical and geophysical exploration projects have, as a result, moved into an accelerated phase in the past month.

When people think diamond experts, its Fipke, Rayment, and Me, lol.
Indeed... It's true. Your name often comes up when we're discussing modesty as well. (Jus' kiddin') I guess we have to do something while we wait for this thing to take off.
Last news I had was that the first drill hole was down more than 300 meters and still in kimberlite. Either they hit dead center or the thing's going to be pretty large.
Expect the news to get better.
They laid on 2000 meters of drilling (nine holes) for the Carolina, supposedly to be followed by a 5000 ton bulk sample. They also allocated 1000 meters for testing other anomalies in the immediate area. They must have some idea though because they've had the augers turning there for a while too.
I think the magnetic anomalies are the pink-colored areas you see. Carolina is up top near the center.
There's also a good view of it on maps.google.com
put in Espigão D Oeste, Brazil
switch to hybrid
zoom in and look for an excavated area at about 11:30 from the town in the box formed by RO-133 and RO-387
AXIOM Consulting of vancouver has been retained for $3k a month and a 500k options at .50 to do some IR PR and road shows. I am not familiar with them which is odd since I have spent some time with the most notorious of the Howe street promoters. Perhaps I am a little before their time, lol.
Anyways, I would expect to see some organized promotion starting to coincide with the good news and results that continue to occur in South America.
I'd be interested in actually traveling to the SA properties if SOLA wanted an independant public figure to lend some street cred . After all, my knowledge of stock promotion is only marginally surpassed by my knowledge of the diamond industry. When people think diamond experts, its Fipke, Rayment, and Me, lol.
Robert
I still feel this is the absolute best diamond play around right now due to its premium properties and working relationship alone.
Robert
Interesting news should flow from this in the next few weeks. Mostly I'd look for the depth of the intercepts and some 3-d modeling of the kimberlite body. There are also 4 or 5 other anomalies in the vicinity which could come out of the same diamond stability field. Augers have been turning there and the drill program will be hitting them this summer as well. (That leads me to believe that the augers have turned up kimberlite there too.)

Sola Resource Corp.: Exploration Progress and Development Report
5/24/2007
- Ground-based Geophysical Surveys recording continuing success
CALGARY, ALBERTA, May 24, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --
During the month of May, Sola Resource Corp. (the "Company") (TSX: SL) has been making considerable progress in its exploration and development activities in the vicinity of the diamond-bearing Carolina Kimberlite pipe and on the Company's mineral claims in the Pimenta Bueno region in the State of Rondonia in NW Brazil.
Ground-based geophysical surveys to date have generated numerous anomalies within the area surrounding the Carolina diamond pipe. Targets are continually being ground-truthed and auger testing of some anomalies has been ongoing. Since the inception of the ground-based geophysics programs a total of 169.6 line kilometers of magnetic (Mag) surveys have been completed and 20.3 line kilometers of electromagnetic (EM) surveys have been performed.
The kimberlite indicator mineral (KIM) surveys continue over Sola's claims. To date 1506 samples have been collected. Of these samples, 1033 have been processed to concentrate heavy-minerals and magnetic-mineral fractions. Of these processed samples, 597 have already been sorted and searched for indicator minerals. A total of 264 samples have been found to be "anomalous" i.e. to contain minerals in the normal KIM class.
Stripping of overburden from the mid-sector of the kimberlite pipe has exposed weathered and undisturbed kimberlite over an area of 1.5 hectares (3.7 acres). Examination of the exposed, weathered kimberlite reveals distinct palimpsest textures of diatremic nature and the presence of abundant large megacrysts of indicator minerals such as pyrope garnets and ilmenites.
The Company has commenced its pre-feasibility study of the Carolina Kimberlite diamond deposit. This process was initiated with the stripping of overburden and mapping the exposed kimberlite. The study will progress with 2000 meters of diamond-drilling and the bulk sample collection of a minimum of 5000 tonnes of kimberlite. The collection and processing of a bulk sample from the Carolina Diamond pipe and testing will commence under the direction of Canamera Geoscience Corp. and will begin concurrent with the drill program. The bulk sample will be collected from areas that have been drill-tested once the drill rig and pads have been removed.
The diamond-drilling rig is now at the Carolina Kimberlite and drilling of the first vertical hole into the kimberlite is expected to commence very shortly. In preparation for the drilling campaign construction of concrete drill pads is now underway.
The drill core and bulk sample material will then be shipped off-site for processing under mineralogical laboratory conditions.
The forthcoming data from the bulk sample program and diamond drilling on the Carolina kimberlite will serve as part of the requirement for a pre-feasibility study.
The data generated from this program will contribute to the development of a feasibility study regarding the economic viability of the Carolina kimberlite.
Other requirements of this process that include the environmental baseline study and negotiations with the current landholder have already been completed.
While moving the Carolina deposit through pre-feasibility to feasibility, the Company is actively exploring the environs of the Carolina kimberlite in an effort to enhance and augment the current potential mining plan.

Sola Resource Corp.: Exploration and Development Report
5/2/2007
- EM and Magnetic Geophysics Generates New Targets
- Surficial Stripping of Carolina Kimberlite for Drill Pad Preparation
- Diamonds Recovered During Regional Sampling Program
CALGARY, ALBERTA, May 2, 2007 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX News Network) --
Sola Resource Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SL) is pleased to report progress in its recent exploration and development activities on the Carolina Kimberlite pipe and on its mineral claims in the Pimenta Bueno region in the State of Rondonia in NW Brazil.
Geophysical surveys to date have generated over 20 targets within a 4 km2 area encompassing the Carolina diamond pipe. Targets are being prioritized and testing will begin immediately.
A Max-Min EM survey has returned a conductive signature associated with the Carolina Diamondiferous Kimberlite. The signature is coincident with the magnetic data and with known boundaries of the Carolina that were determined by surface prospecting. These additional data suggest that the kimberlite pipe is somewhat larger than previously thought.
The data are currently being analyzed and integrated with the existing geophysical and geochemical datasets to assist in the next steps of the exploration program.
A drill has been mobilized to the Carolina Kimberlite and drilling is expected to commence within two weeks. In preparation for the drill program, stripping of overburden, construction of drill pads and surface preparation for mapping and bulk sample work is currently being undertaken.
The regional Kimberlite Indicator Mineral (KIM) program continues successfully in the recovery of indicator minerals and diamonds. Sampling from new areas has resulted in the recovery of a 25 point (0.25 carat) octahedral shaped diamond from a stream sediment sample. On a separate claim, approximately 90 kilometers from the Carolina Kimberlite, a 5 point (0.05 carat) stone was recovered. Sampling continues in both these areas to delineate the KIM boundaries.
The model generated from the on-going KIM program, in concert with the airborne geophysics, will assist in the generation of future kimberlite targets.

I'm looking forward to an interesting April.
I think the company's expecting it's bulk sampling permit very soon. There's a 400TPD plant on site and they're allowed to process and sell diamonds at that point... Bulk sampling will also establish a grade. Anything more than .25 CPT and this should fly.
