Was typing my last reply and didn’t see this.
You can find Dons company email on the company website I believe but I will paste it here for you.
I tried the website comment box a long time back and didn’t receive a reply. That’s when I reached out to management. Of course the email address has changed when they changed the name to SmartCannabis.

Excellent post. Have you sent the company any correspondence asking your questions you are looking to have answers for? Just curious.
If you haven’t might I suggest emailing them. I would much rather have my questions answered by the company and know who you are getting any info from over a board. My experience with emailing has been positive. My replies come from Don as he puts his name in the emails. There may be a few days before receiving a reply but he does respond if the email sent has relevant questions and explains concerns in which can be answered. My experience in correspondence anyway.

BvA spread (again)..
i commented on it being tight yesterday (tues) and was right back to .07 spread or so for most of day until that 185k sell order popped up. it handled it like a champ though. Granted is 'only' a 13k $$ or so transaction..but thats a good chunk of avg daily volume
was impressed with how it handled that big ask.
i tried contacting the company asking that question about why split the pie so much....never got an answer. (although in the interest of full disclosure...it wasnt really a proper communication..i filled out the little 'contact us' box on their webpage...but still...didnt get response)
re. Grassls
yes...stock splits typically are to attract more retail investors. And it does not change the valuation.
Talking about Amazon splitting at 1400 per share makes a lot more sense than SCNA at a nickel.
Now i know the conversation isnt about splitting..but its about outstanding shares. My original question..which i still have not been able to figure out an answer for is why a company would divide their pie into 10 BILLION pieces. as opposed to say, 1 billion. why make par value .005? why not make par value 0.5 or 1.0 ? Youre not scaring off people with a 1.00 price. If anything, its the opposite. Real money isnt going to pay this thing any mind.
And i feel like i kind of started this entire conversation..i certainly have not meant to cause any discord...but at the same time...i am a seasoned trader/investor...and this is a legitimate concern of mine.
Despite these concerns, I still have started a position. I dont really plan to add anything at the moment...but I am also not looking for a reason to sell either.
Price per share and O/S and all that aside... assuming their financials are legit...they MAKE something that they sell...their revenues are exploding..they are profitable..they have cash on hand and have no debt. (again...assuming financials are legit...i am always leery of OTC stocks, naturally)
Explains a lot. Thanks for providing that info.
Have a great evening!

If we all knew the answers to why things happen the way they do we would all be in a much better place. Not just when it comes to investing but in life in general. Unfortunately life doesn’t show these cards for every single item we are looking to get answers on. It is highly unlikely that management can even answer the question as to why our volume is not where we think it should be or that the PPS isn’t where we think it should be.
The SS topic seems to be one that many here would like answers to and what if anything the company plans to do. Instead of guessing. Send a polite email expressing your concerns and ask your questions. The company is the only one that can help you with these types of questions. I have contacted them many times over the last 14 months with questions. If the questions are polite and you don’t come off as an a**, the company replies. If you start an email with profanity, ask off topic questions they can’t answer or anything like that I would think they would just ignore that email and any other you send going forward. I know it’s common in the OTC market for investors to get nasty in correspondence with a company. Then they complain the company doesn’t reply to the correspondence. Why would they. Would you reply to someone that isn’t polite I’m asking you for something?

I wake up and spit at the mirror every morning!! The structure says it all!!
SCNA
That's a very sound perspective. I appreciate that amongst all the noise in OTC land.
Listen... I’m an investors just like you. I have told you before I have no affiliation with SCNA or its management.
I have been here since the day they went public. I did many, many hours of DD. If I have a question I contact the company. My suggestion to everyone is that if they have questions, concerns or any other company related items they want to hear from management and not someone posting on a board. I surely don’t.
Just FYI. I have a real job. Likely way over your pay grade. I do research in the evenings and if I like what I have dug up I invest money. If I don’t I move on. Now stop whining and make a decision to sell or hold. It’s your choice. Complaining on a board, posting off topic comments and making personal attacks against others isn’t going to make the stock move up. Pretty clear in my mind. Go talk to the mirror and maybe you can work out your issues.

The share structure may be keeping new investors from investing. I don’t know this and don’t have an opinion. I also still think the stock is being manipulated and shorted. Some say the spread between the bid and ask isn’t a good indicator. In some case that may be true but with the volume we are seeing someone or several someone’s are. Again my opinion.
One day the spread looks much better. The day before it didn’t. The day after it looks better it goes back to two days before.
The management has and continues to provide solid PRs. No fluff. Revenue from sales continues to come in. We will have a clear picture once we see Q4 2017.
Patience is needed here. The mj sector is going to start heating up again here before the end of Feb. Many things that will provide catalyst are coming in the next few months. These will be long term catalyst and I’m hoping it will provide SCNA with a much more solid base and volume increases.
All my opinion. As always... Your money and your investments. You need to what’s right for you.
$$$$$$$$SCNA/SmartCannabis/NextGenFarming$$$$$$$$
I would like you to provide proof this is the same as any other mj stock. They were cash flow positive in the first 90 days and have generated more revenue and profits all year long. I beg to differ with your comment.
Yes we all agree the SS is not the greatest. Half of it is owned by management. Some say they could bail and close up shop. John and Don don’t have that in their cards in my opinion. They have started a business that is in a sector that is poised to have year over year growth. They are bringing in sales, sales equals revenue.
$$$$$$$$SCNA/SmartCannabis/NextGenFarming$$$$$$$$
What’s holding it back from moving forward
Yet you still say you hold shares of Smart Cannabis. You said you were selling out well over a month ago. If you don’t like the company don’t invest. If you want to complain because you bought shares and haven’t sold then talk to the person in the mirror because that is the only person that needs to hear what you are saying. We are all adults. Your money, your investments. If you are looking for others to give you advise here, that is poor decision making on your part. My opinion.
$$$$$$$$SCNA/SmartCannabis/NextGenFarming$$$$$$$$
This was prior to the company change. They took over this SS in Nov 2016. Share structure today is no different then when they took over Zerez Holdings which they had Next Generation Farming under. Different company, different management, different product.

Its a typical otc cannabis stock, no info, big promises and the shareholder gets screwed.
SCNA
So with 10B is authorized shares and close to 5B (as of 9/17) outstanding ,there is a good chance that this will/could be diluted further?
Peace
More shares issued (dilution) the more the company needs liquidity and the stock needs more volume to move the price per share then. Bottom line, more shares=not good= SCNA
Picket this up from OTCmarkets website...
Security Notes
Capital Change=shs decreased by 1 for 100 split. Ex-date=04/12/2016.
I am still new to the game, but when a company splits/adds more stock, the overall valuation does not change, just the PPS? More shares issued = lower price per share = more enticing for those with little money to invest.
Anyone?
Just my 2 cents.
:)
Peace on Earth
BigBri, Do you think the 4th quarter is going to give this a kick? Will all this Outstanding Shares talk make the results of the 4th quarter not matter for SCNA? Just wondering what your opinion is on this.
GLTA SCNA LONG & STRONG
They never would and that is my point! They are blatantly ready to dilute for insider enrichment. They will pull the trigger soon, its just too obvious.
SCNA
re retiring shares....
i am not very familiar with this process, but off top of head....wouldnt any retirement of shares (which i would assume would come from owners' piece of the pie) mean less ownership of the company for the owners? would they do that for the betterment of shareholders?
Seems like my analysis is correct. RETIRE THE SHARES!!! SHAREHOLDERS WILL NOT BE VICTIMS HERE!!
SCNA
On or around the 15th would follow the trend from previous releases.
$$$$$$$$SCNA/SmartCannabis/NextGenFarming$$$$$$$$
On a different Note: Does anyone have an idea when the forth quarter results are going to come out?
here's my point re BxA spread...
i just watched a 300 share tick on this on the ask. which is what...like 13% higher than the bid. 300 shares @ .0589 = 17.67$$
my stake just increased 13% and its market cap just increased by like 70 million bucks....on an 18 dollar transaction!!!
thats NUTS to me.
not a bash...just an observation. and as for who owns what as far as the # of total shares....to me its irrelevant...the pie is still cut into 10 billion pieces...regardless of who has the most pieces.
come on...we've all got an extra 20 bucks lying around...lets shoot this thing up 20% ! :)
I like the company plans ideas but 2 people owning that many shares are insane and greedy. I had to sell a while ago. Because I came to realize if they make 350 million a year like the said. There stock would be valued at about 90 cents. But they would be worth billions. Insane stock dilution. You can always tell the purpose of a company by issued share structure.
Then why all the shares? It is clear as day that they will dilute at any time or sell shares for self enrichment!
SCNA
I would not go that far. I don't think they are scam artists, nor do they have zero results.
Anyone can taught a hypothetical number, yes my company is worth one trillion too! These guys look more and more like scam artists with every claim and ZERO results, while the share structure and price action tell all.
SCNA
I agree. There is a point where the valuation will start to play a role.......if it has not already. This will have a valuation of $1B at a share price of .10 Spin it any way you want to....that is ridiculous.
If they are making all this revenue and profits they should retire shares. Until then, they are locked and loaded for dilution
SCNA
they can only sell 1% of their holdings in a 90 day period
TD Ameritrade did not restrict me. I bought 1500 shares right at the end today just to get the closing price up, so I could show green for the day on my account, in spite of the Dow.
He stated it in a money tv interview I will find the link and post
Trust, but verify. Is there any way to verify a statement like that? It is a little scary to think that two people could drop this like a rock, if they decided it was time to retire into oblivion.
Don claims 80 percent of the shares are owned by him and ceo
bid v ask
haha...at least this morning so far...the BxA is a respectable spread :)
The 10 billion, or however many billion it is, haunts me too.
A link below should provide insight on the iHub TOS and shed light on your question.

and if i may ask.....
i see there are half a dozen or so deleted messages. may i ask why they were deleted?
re. my thoughts on several posts....
its been a few days since i have stopped by here...so i see there was a plethora of unread posts. In those few days i have been wondering many of the same things i see have actually been brought up on here recently.
Mainly, i was looking at the lack of volume. Take friday for example...its volume was 180k ... that equates to $$ 9,000 thats it??? for a company with the revenue numbers they show and growth rate... that is an INSANELY low amount of $$ being exchanged in the marketplace. Makes me wonder why the complete lack of interest.
As far as the spread in BxA ...i dont think that necessarily indicates shorts... its just the byproduct of being so thinly traded where a $100 transaction can move the stock 15% between the .051 and .059 BxA . it almost makes me want to 'whack the ask' for 50, 100 bucks worth every day at the close just to see that gain in my portfolio lol.
again...it doesnt make sense to me how little money is exchanging hands here.
Also, while it may be essentially flat from a year ago....its certainly made some big % moves...multiple times, both directions, over the course of the year. I refute the 'it never moves' claim.
I think the daily chart actually looks pretty healthy, in a big picture sense. It finally broke above .05 and ran to almost .08 ...then has been drifting back to its breakout point. And the way the daily is now set up... the .05 support also happens to converge with the rising 50ma which is currently .0503. So obviously needs to hold this major support area of a nickel. Upside vs downside volume looks healthy.... declining volume after its run towards .08 on the downside ...flushing out weaker hands.
Assuming the fundamentals are legit numbers.... you have fundamentals lining up perfectly with technicals.
Which begs the question....what gives??? The stock market is the most brilliant instrument in existence at sniffing out new possibilities and opportunities. You have to operate under the assumption that you will never be the first to have an idea, to be the first on board. So as it pertains to SCNA ... what gives?? Seems like we are the first ones having the idea... but we shouldnt be.
and this is my problem with the 10 BILLION shares. 10 BILLION. so rough math...10B / .05 = 500mil valuation . every 1/10th of a penny increase in share price adds 10 million to its valuation. just keep that in mind. which also ties into wondering why its so thinly traded. there is NO reason why a $100 transaction should be able to move its market cap by millions of dollars lol
just my random thoughts. ive always been more of a short term technical trader...but this one is supposed to be an actual investment... so im not too worried about the daily action....its all been short term noise so far from when ive dipped my toes in. i see no reason not to keep my bids in place for now at .05 or fractionally above/below
New MoneyTV interview today!!

I hope you are right fusion. I want to get moving here and get off this Roller Coaster Ride.
It’s only a matter of time until this sleeping giant wakes up... financials should be coming any time now and if those financials say why they been claiming this year then we are off to the races my friends
'tis true about the disconnect, but it hit at .05 LAST Feb. I, too, am hoping patience wins the day.
I’m not even talking about me personally.. just 1 year back from this date. Regardless, there is a major disconnect between market volume and the business activity with scna and hopefully our patience will be rewarded when and if that time comes. Glta.
Good for you.
It was at .05 last Feb., then dropped. Then again in July, then dropped. We're now just barely over those levels. I guess it has seemed like a smooth, consistent increase in business, but still investors haven't gotten in. I guess it's still at the mercy of traders and flippers.

"How does a self-funded company go from a start-up to a profitable, self-sustaining business in 3 months?
The answer dates back to post-World War II Japan. Faced with limited cash, space and natural resources, Japanese manufacturers adopted a different approach. They made smaller factories and house only the raw materials needed for the day's production. Combined with a focus on eliminating waste, a strategy later known as Just-in-Time manufacturing was born.
In the late 1940's, Toyota adopted this strategy into it's Toyota Production System. Using the efficiency of just-in-time manufacturing and focusing on removing wasteful elements in manufacturing, Toyota grew from a small auto company to the world's largest automaker. In the process, they paved the way for what is now called Lean Manufacturing.
Nobody knows more about first-hand implementation of Lean Manufacturing than SmartCannabis President, John Taylor. Interested in how manufacturing companies were improving their operations, Taylor travelled to Europe several times and studied the operations at one of the world's largest machine tool providers, the Trumpf Group.
The Trumpf Group created very high quality tools, but with over 10,000 employee and no systemized production system, they faced delays and excess inventories. Trumpf began implementing the principles of lean manufacturing and it was dubbed the Synchro production system. Taylor watched as department after department, plant after plant was transformed into a clockwork of precision.
In 2007, John applied his first-hand knowledge to help local manufacturer Taylor Wings survive the sharp economic downturn. Lean-manufacturing principles allowed Taylor Wings to operate like an orchestra, in perfect synchronization.
Fast forward nearly 10-years and trend toward greenhouse cultivation was an industry trend he couldn't ignore. He knew he draw on his experience, build a better greenhouse and a better greenhouse company. With use of his synchro knowledge he quickly developed Just in Time Systems geared specifically for commercial Cannabis production with acknowledged global Lean Standards. Not long after, Next Generation Farming was born."
