SkyPostal is an international mail distribution company that specializes in offering hand delivery of mail and periodicals into Latin America.

Our Mission is to provide our customers with a consistent, secure and reliable mail delivery service of the highest standards into Latin America through the use of innovative logistics solutions and state of the art information technology.

We are the largest private mail network in Latin America handling mail from European postal administrations, major publishers, international mailers and financial institutions that require time defined and reliable delivery of their mail or magazines. Our service is supported by a web-based proprietary tracking system that allows our clients the ability to track their mailings and our performance.

SkyPostal, Inc. is an international mail distribution company focused on delivering commercial mail and periodicals to the Latin America-Caribbean (LAC) region. The company is one of the leading private mail networks in Latin America, and handles mail from European postal administrations, major publishers, international mailers and financial institutions that demand on-time, reliable delivery of their mail and/or magazines. Through its web-based proprietary tracking system, SkyPostal offers clients the option of tracking their mail as well as the company’s performance.

The company fulfils the demand for reliable, low cost, trackable mail service in the LAC region. The Public Postal services in the area are plagued with abnormally high inter-country mail tariffs, inefficiencies with little to no technology, poor service and horrible delivery rates. In fact, about 30% of the mail sent to the LAC region from Europe and the USA is never delivered. These failures provide SkyPostal with an extraordinary opportunity to capitalize on demand for quality service.

SkyPostal is one of the largest facilitators of mail delivery from Europe and the U.S. into the LAC region. At this time the company’s main customers are the French and German National Posts. SkyPostal not only handles the mail originating in the two countries, but also their Extraterritorial Offices of Exchange (ETOEs). In addition, it serves other European Posts’ cross-border companies such as Swiss Post Spain, acting as a median in the delivery of 150 tons of mail per month.

Our proprietary web-based tracking system allows our clients to track their mailings from reception in one of our hubs in Miami or London to when the item is out for delivery.

Tracking Points:

  1. Reception in Hub Miami or London
  2. Cleared Through Customs in Destination
  3. Out For Delivery
  4. Proof of Delivery – additional service
  5. Return Information – additional service

In addition clients can run performance and volume reports.

International mail and parcels company SkyPostal has gone public in the USA through a friendly reverse takeover deal and is now targeting strong growth and acquisitions in its core markets.

SkyPostal Inc. announced that it has been acquired by Omega United Inc. which will now cease its previous business activities and file to change its name to SkyPostal Networks, Inc. The transaction value was reported as $27.6 million by the CNN Money service which gave Omega United’s previous business as “online entertainment booking services”.

“Going public through this merger is the next step in our evolution, as SkyPostal strives to become the dominant mail distribution company in Latin America, the Caribbean and Mexico ('LAC'),” stated Albert P. Hernandez, President and CEO of Miami-based SkyPostal.

SkyPostal already acquired Spring Global Mail Latin America, the regional unit of the TNT, Royal Mail and Singapore Post-owned joint venture, in August 2007 for an undisclosed sum.

"We are now in a position to implement an aggressive growth strategy that features internal growth as well as growth through the acquisition of key postal delivery companies within the region. The highly fragmented postal delivery industry in the LAC region is ripe for consolidation and offers economies of scale related to cost reduction and the elimination of redundant services. The market is ideal for the application of current technologies, standardization of operating systems and the region-wide development of the SkyPostal brand,” he stated.

SkyPostal said it is one of the largest facilitators of mail delivery from Europe and the US into LAC, for major European postal administrations and the leading mail consolidators, delivering more than 150 tons of mail per month into the region. The company has exclusive agreements in place with over 20 major private postal services in 20 different countries throughout the LAC region for the delivery of commercial mail, periodicals and parcel post.

“SkyPostal is in a unique position through our existing relationships to acquire and roll up the quality private postal carriers in the region and apply our proprietary GPS-based delivery technology, PosTrac under development, which will provide auto proof of delivery for regular post to a region where it is estimated that up to 30% of all mail never gets delivered,” Hernandez added.

After signing the contract with DHL Global Mail, services to Europe will more than double the number of countries served. The following countries will be potentially added to European service: Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Russia, the Netherlands, Turkey, Sweden, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Norway, Austria, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, Finland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Ukraine, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Belarus, Serbia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Estonia, Iceland, Bosnia, Albania, Georgia, Armenia, Macedonia, Moldova and Montenegro.

These new areas represent a larger stream of potential revenues and increased services. SkyPostal was already delivering over 800,000 pieces of mail per day. That is an astounding total of 25 million pieces of mail per month. The new, increased delivery area and additional service options in Europe will surely create a rise in demand for the services of SkyPostal.
