with respect to SBUM i think the most important thing is not how rich the silver valley is or how high silver will go. but rather, what are the plans of management?

The listed CEO of SBUM on OTCmarkets is Harry James Magnusondied long ago. I assume Dennis Obrien is running the show, but he's another guy getting up there in age. I've been doing this long enuf to be unfortunate enuf to be holding worthless shares of companies, tightly held, that disappeared after the CEO passed away.

I am 100% unable to buy SBUM with my Schwab account because SBUM is a non reporting company:
ie, they do not report any financials to the SEC.
Schwab is one of the BIG brokerage houses. I Imagine that other large brokerage firms have a similar rule in place.
So, SBUM would attract more interest and buying if they just completed their simple book keeping.
Furthermore, Schwab will only let me SELL SBUM. The screen pops up: "prohibited stock. only sell orders are accepted."
I have personally invested >$8,000 of my own money trying to help SBUM.
All of that time and money is down the drain.
It's shameful, actually.

935,894 in the float, but that is from 5 months ago. Dount it has changed too much, but the PPS was a lot higher earlier in the year then looks like someone sold off or something to drop it.

SBUM is one of the few old Spokane Stock Exchange stocks still traded on the OTC- the rest converted to shells and sold, or didn't comply with the minimum OTC requirements. These stocks typically owned just mining claims, which hopefully they could lease out to larger companies.

The recent SEC rules passed give I think until September 30 to meet basic new disclosure requirements- thus many OTC Pink Sheet stocks not providing will be de-listed. Investors in Pink Sheet stocks in October will get some nasty surprises.

Thus, I assume the recent volume/price either (a) there has been some exploration recently on the property ( unlikely) (b) someone is nibbling at the stock as a potential acquisition/shell candidate, and trying to accumulate a block of free-trading shares, and more voting rights. (c) with silver price up any stock with Silver in its name artifacts buyers, and the float is so small ( and unlikely to increase in the short term based on history of this company) (d) major company in area needs these claims- last time this happened with IDLM stock it shot up form $.50 until Hecla acquired it at $10 a share.

I go with (b)and am a buyer under $1 unless volume goes much higher, with target $1.50 to $5.00. Trick is after acquisition announced, and before authorized shares increase to sell at that time.

me too. this is easily a $3 stock once their filings are current and the stop sign is removed. they've been in business since the 1960's and a multi billionaire is very active in the silver valley of idaho. his name is tom kaplan and he is a well known silver bug.
