It also provides occupant satisfaction solutions, such as proprietary Web/wireless systems to manage guest and tenant service requests, identification of low-cost and no-cost operating efficiency improvements, lighting quality upgrades, technical staff training, consistent control of building temperature and humidity conditions, and improved reliability of building systems and controls. This segment serves owners and operators of corporate, commercial office, hospitality, gaming, retail, light industrial, distribution, healthcare, government, and education and institutional buildings and facilities; energy service companies; and public and private utility companies. The Real Estate segment engages in the acquisition, development, redevelopment, leasing, asset management, ownership, and sale of shopping centers, office buildings, and land in the southeast and midwest. The company was formerly known as Abrams Industries, Inc. and changed its name to Servidyne, Inc. in 2006. Servidyne was founded in 1925 and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
