Founded in June 2006, Webisode Entertainment, LLC created and developed the "Internet Song of the Year" competition and website.
We are interested in finding the most underappreciated and least-recognized talents in all of the music industry: the songwriter/composer.
In an age where people compete in every imaginable competition, from "American Idol" to "Dancing with the Stars" we all seem to overlook one of the most valuable contributions to our everyday life, and that is the people who write the music we hear.
The Internet Song of the Year is a place for people to engage in new ways with making music by sharing, commenting on, and listening to original compositions. We are building a community to listen to and appreciate original songs.
The best songs will be rewarded with not only a cash prize, but a music publishing deal that could be worth much more.
