Seel, thanks, any info much appreciated. Just started checking MRIC out.
A vote of confidence to see you here.
On another note, what do you know if anything about CYTK, this drop today could be a buy. If they have a successful p3 it will trigger a large payment from Amgen. Thanks.
Don't forget to treat yourself after a nice score.
Gonna have to think of you as Doc Green.

Getting their act together finally. If they continue executing this way, they will be a success.

MRIC one for 40 reverse split:
http://otce.finra.org/DLSymbolNameChanges
Looks like a reverse split is coming...anywhere from "1 for 15" to "1 for 40"...I bought some around a $1 about this time last year (Jun 2015).Most likely, it's gonna become a $40 per share investment...ho-hummmmm.
This has done nothing but go down....its apparent their "Clearpoint" technology is "NOT" knocking it out of the park with neuro-surgeons. No matter how many "PR" statements they release.
Great news today and the stock drops more than 13%, I'm sick of this sell on the news BS.
MRIC news out! 75M OS bottom chart.
Revenues were $1.25 million for the three months ended September 30, 2015, and $633,000 for the same period in 2014, an increase of $613,000, or 97%, attributable to increases in the Company's ClearPoint® System reusable and disposable products.
Price didn't hold above .75 so more cheepies coming.
One I am currently investigating is PRSN. Especially if it will fill the gap.
Gapped because of insufficient capital for NASDAQ listing maintainance, now capital raised.
If you are aware or have any insight on their ablation products etc I would be very interested.
Can post over there.
Creating double bottom or heading to new all time low?
Hmmm
I wonder if investors are just tired of waiting. Maybe this drop is the result of trimming positions anticipating more general market negativity.
Falling knife or new lows?
Should find out soon.
Good time to delve into the dd.
MRIC
Maybe took too big a bite. A little consolidation may be in order.
That can be what accumulation looks like. Will be watching rest of week to see if another buy day or two occurs and if it continues getting rests in between. That would suggest some big money has taken notice.
MRIC
Seel, our slow grower had a nice 22% day.
I'm thinking this is one to just hold, as you suggested, for a while and accumulate for when earnings and expansion begin to get noticed. Then sell a few and get free ride for the real growth to come.
Be Green
MRIC
Thanks for that update C! I'll be buying over next few market days. Slow grower/steady burner. Good quiet biotech investment here.
Seel, very likely the bottom is in and we are now back to multi-year historical low support.
Closing above .75 and holding is the final confirmation.
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=MRIC&p=D&yr=4&mn=0&dy=0&id=p72139217184
Looking forward to a steady move to $4 and above. Quicker than the decline is my preference LOL.

Thanks for all your insights. "C"
PS to any newcomers or drive by viewers. Low volume at present so liquidity will be sporadic and sometimes difficult. Can create wide bid/ask etc. Do your dd and understand the company before making any investment. All IMO. Standard disclaimer....etc.
It really is an excellent technology. I take nibbles at it too - now that new team in, should be slow, steady grower. A lower risk investment than most of this sector - but also won't provide any kind of dramatic overnight spike. Which is fine with me. A bit boring...but fine.
From 2013
"Dr. Hooman Azmi at Hackensack University Medical Center was the first surgeon to couple the ClearPoint system with laser ablation technology in connection with the treatment of malignant brain tumors called glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). Dr. Robert Gross at Emory University Hospital was the first to use the ClearPoint system and laser ablation technology to treat patients with epilepsy. Both Drs. Azmi and Gross originally had brought the ClearPoint system into their hospitals to assist with the placement of deep brain stimulation (DBS) electrodes.
"The combination of these two technologies – the ClearPoint MRI-guided system and laser ablation – has the potential to provide minimally-invasive treatment options for patients whose epileptic seizures cannot be controlled with medications," said Dr. Gross.
Though the diseases are different, for many patients with GBM and certain forms of epilepsy the main treatment option is surgical resection, or removal, of the affected area in the brain. This is usually a highly invasive procedure that requires surgeons to detach a large portion of the patient's skull in order to access the target location. For most people with GBM, surgical resection is the best option for increasing chances of survival, but not infrequently, the tumor is located in an area which makes open surgery with limited visualization risky. Some patients with epilepsy or brain tumor also do not make good candidates for conventional surgical resection due to the highly invasive nature of the traditional procedure.
"ClearPoint allows me to surgically treat patients I would not be able to treat using other platform systems," stated Dr. Azmi. "It allows me to visualize the tumor and healthy brain tissue while I am working without putting my patient through a highly invasive procedure. Using ClearPoint, I can ensure clean margins while avoiding damage to the rest of the brain. I imagine this platform will be helpful in delivering a wide range of therapies to brain disorders, above and beyond what we have seen so far."
"We are excited about both current and future applications for our ClearPoint platform," said Kimble Jenkins, CEO of MRI Interventions. "Our vision is that the ClearPoint system will remain at the forefront of minimally invasive neurosurgery enabling more options for more patients suffering from neurological disorders."
Here is company release of 8-k results.
http://ir.stockpr.com/mriinterventions/company-news/detail/882/mri-interventions-inc-announces-2015-second-quarter-results
6 months to get the new direction going is very reasonable. IMO
Bid at .64 filled, so nibbled some more.
Note: these are small nibbles, nothing big.
Nibble some .71. Seems overdone and see how it bounces.
Can buy more lower or higher and maybe sell with lower risk here if doesn't firm up.
Reading the 8-k, not seeing anything to really be concerned about. Restructuring seems to have caused the loss differences along with timing of delivery contributing to revenue reductions. This should be a one time event and back on track. If revenue continues to lag I will have more concern.
Note: I have not purchased stock yet. This is looking like a potential buy zone as we are back to possible test of early 2015 support.
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=MRIC&p=W&yr=2&mn=0&dy=0&id=p73579749534
Will see soon if .80 gets tested. (Tested .80 as I typed so .70 zone up next.
.65 is the all time low since going public.
Revenue acceleration can take an up and down path. Like a stock, trend should be watched.
If science and management are high quality this is could be approaching "blue light special" sale territory.
Be Green Everyone.
Yes, great information. Thankyou.

Thanks Citrati!
And I am still deeply in your debt. Your charts and explanations have helped me immensely! And they continue to do so. I am grateful to you.
Seel, outstanding overview. Thankyou soooo much seems awfully weak.
Hopefully I can return some value to you for the time you spend helping me walk in a straight line.
Have a productive and satisfying week.
Best wishes for green. C.
C - they dropped the marketing ball after approval. They have a big product - covers entire suite of this MRI add-on tech. Computer programs/biopsy guides with frames, drapes, and the surgical equip specially fitted for the system, etc..So - its a big investment for any hospital and requires much staff training. Train surgeon to procedure, MRI tech to software program, OR tech to set-up. Advantage of increased safety and accuracy in multiple procedures indisputable - but obviously sales need real investment in marketing and that's where they totally failed. Once a hospital buys, the company has recurring customer as procedural tech (which is diverse) is done with multiple single use items - assisting in infection control and requiring ongoing resupplying by hospitals.
So - last year they cleaned house. Replaced CEO in Oct. New VP marketing early Dec and 10mil private placement 2 weeks later! New CFO this March. Closed their TN offices - as they needed to - they were paying admin salaries and getting nothing in return. Now that money goes to marketing including a push to get slots in multiple medical conferences - which was not priority with old management. These guys are not kidding around. They have made marketing a priority - finally - and we can expect things to pick up from here on out. It's a big undertaking. Once this tech is adopted by a hosp - this is what they use. Too expensive to change out in a few years.
This will continue to be a slow grower, but it should experience steady growth now that a good team is leading. Its cutting edge and updatable tech that works with the current MRI systems hospitals have already invested in - so MRIC designed a huge technology improvement assist for a machine that most hospitals in our country have. Slow and steady until it becomes preferred standard of care is best outcome and I believe that is quite possible. But not for a few years of consistent marketing push.
Seel, I think I find a nice company and then find you there ahead of me again...
I like what I see. It also seems they are able to raise capital responsibly through quality PP's.
How soon is it estimated before revenue onset?
I don't usually buy a stock with such small average trading volume or under $100,000 per day.
So trying to determine my risk on the low liquidity.
I admit I am not great on determining market potential or product quality in the medical field so the fact you consider them cutting edge and sound is a big plus for me.
I am still trying to get a handle on profit margins, potential break even timelines etc. Any insights you have in those areas would also be very helpful...
I consider Sabby to be an outstanding Bio Institutional investor and though only several hundred thousand shares I see them as another real positive for MRIC.
Thanks in advance.

Yep, that's what I'm hoping for...slow steady climb is just fine with me. :) Will give me time I build larger position at these levels. :)
Holding the 50 MA level for support, definitely like how this has been trading as of late and I think chart wise and fundamental wise this has some very intriguing upside potential.

Hi Wiredawg! Truly this board is dead. And this company is a little diamond. Not exciting like the other biotechs though. Now that MRI management is seriously investing in their marketing rep team, we will see adaptation of the tech by hospitals increase in steady increments. A slow, steady grower most likely, but its the best and most adaptable/upgradeable system in the pool of such star-trek surgical tech and suites - it will monopolize eventually. A very long term investment!
Looks like the Board of Directors & Management Team Needs updating ion the Introduction section.
Hello all, I thought MRIC didn't have a board...so, made one the other day. LOL...why doesn't this board show up when I looking a MRIC quote? Anywho, maybe this is the OTCBB have been hunting for a real diamond in the rough...so tired of the sub-penny pumpers... :)
Been watching this one for a while, like the potential, just been waiting for the chart to shape up and wake up. Watching for a break of the 50 MA w/ some decent volume.
http://chartdiligence.com/mric-bullish-consolidation-around-1-00-above-its-200-day-moving-average/
looking great this week. bigger move long term
Agreed, Grillo needs to scale, scale, and scale more. We have 37 hospitals that should avg 10 procedures a month..... there's alot of value here!!
Agree. Management promised improved marketing and they
are following through. Its good to see. This company has a great product line. Cutting edge.
with the price accumulating over the last month with little news you have to wonder if it's the outreach of Grillo getting the story out.
looks like a good event
IMRIS, Monteris & MRI Interventions sponsoring luncheon seminar
MINNEAPOLIS and IRVINE, CA , April 15, 2015 /CNW/ - Three prominent neurosurgeons will review their clinical experience using real-time navigated laser therapy for brain lesion ablation within intraoperative MRI suites at the upcoming 83rd American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) Annual Scientific Meeting. IMRIS Inc. (NASDAQ: IMRS; TSX: IM) ("IMRIS"), MRI Interventions, Inc. (MRIC), and Monteris Medical Inc. today jointly announced that the companies are sponsoring the Lunch and Learn seminar scheduled for 1:15-2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4 .

Some key point take aways for me me from the CC on earnings.
1. good growth continues, however, They are still a ways off from turning a profit.
2.they are the only option for about 10% of epilepsy patients that don't respond to medication. Laser ablation for this set of patients is one of their core markets.
3. European Cleartrace set to lauch in Q4
4. The company is happy that Viualase (a company that they work hand in hand with to reduce the need for a surgery room and a MRI room to one room, reducing surgeon time and hospital use)was bought by Medtronic. They see the purchase price to be an indicator of the value of MRIC's potential value. They think Medtronic intends to grow the Visulase product. They are also happy with the expanded sales force that Medtronic brings. They will will get free sales from their efforts. They also think that the Medtronic buy is indicative of the validation of this form and direction of medicine.

That's what I got out of it too
With 6 drugs now and hopefully more come on line,There a huge opportunity here if these drugs are approved…I get goose bumps just thinking about it :)
My read of that (thank you for posting that) is that MRIC s delivery system was compatible with this Toca511 drug that is to be used in the treatment of brain tumors. This article was the results of testing the drug compatability and stability with many hospital delivery systems. They seemed to have successful results for all but a couple things. Titanium needles , for example were not compatible. This was part of a Phase 1 trial. Still a ways off from being used, but it seems to be good news for MRIC delivery systems that they are being included as a standard operating procedure.
info on Tocagen mentioning the drug delivery side….Any biotech guys out there translate this?
