That sucks to hear.. Hate seeing people getting laid off. I found it odd that production was still high with the price so low.. Maybe the article I read was talking about Mid East oil production and not U S
I live in Denver, CO and my company works with many oil companies here. I can tell you for a fact that production is NOT high. We have found most of these companies laying off high numbers of work force in the last 6 months.
Lets hope management is doing that! I would think being JPO is a established and long standing "absorbents" company....this would be happening!
Oil PRICE is getting killed but I believe production is still pretty high.. For now anyway.. Production equals spills equals cleanup
The oil 'slump' is an issue but MOP/JPO products can be sold to a lot more industries then just oil companies. And with the products being more effective and less expensive than others, wouldn't these poor oil companies look to them to save money? Just wondering.......
No details here. I was simply told a PR with updates was coming this weekend. I know the oil slump is most likely is not helping move product, any one of us knows that though! I though was told even with all that, "things are good".
Very possible or possibly someone that got some low .003s taking a 25-30% profit. I can't lie, I've been tempted to unload my .0034s for .006 or higher here, but decided to hold. Been here too long to settle for some chump change. LOL
That's some serious groceries
1,5m....that's 6450.00.....someone had to dump shares to go grocery shopping? ;)
Whatever it is it's the most daily volume mopn has seen in a loooooonnnnnnnnggggggg time..
Hadn't thought about that but u probably right.. What do u think the volume spike is.. Just a frustrated long?
If company diluting, they're doing it illegally. 2B shares allotted, 2B shares outstanding and majority of those shares are unregistered. Unless I missed something.
A bunch of small sells at .006 thru the morning then a dump of about 1.5 mil at .0043.. My guess is company diluting but doesn't make much sense at close to 52 week low IMO
Can anyone tell the trade history of this volume?
Cheers
Same here - less than 100K shares, which I bought on a lark so to speak. Volume is encouraging. I continue to believe effective marketing and distribution could move product - I always did think that, even though previous ownership/management didn't seem able to make either happen. Of course, this from a guy with shares in a vodka company that can't move product either..... Seems to be my MO.....
Agree, wasn't happy about the dump.. The volume itself is encouraging no matter the pps tho... But that's coming from someone with only a small amount of shares and no real risk since they've been mentally written off for awhile..
Yep - watching...and waiting. Wasn't too happy to see the dump, but this baby requires the ultimate in patience...
Ok now we're over 2 million in volume today... Hello?? Hello?? Anyone else seeing this??
Well this volume is starting to become more than a minor blip.. Any theories out there? Yukon, That crystal ball of yours seeing any details?
Haha yup probably right on that one
Whether right or wrong, some will choose to publicly shame me...I have no doubts....lol.
Looks like the person buying is done.. Hopefully yukons crystal ball will be right
It surely has not been accurate or honest a few times before, but I figure I my as well report what it tells me anyways!
I like seeing the price increase and continue to be a believer in this product and company!
Hope that crystal ball is all shined up and seeing clearly
Crystal ball says a PR is coming this weekend.
All is good but oil prices are hurting the industry as a whole, so they could surely be better is more rigs and companies were in production mode.
goodandplenty, as one of the original
shareholders, I should tell you to kiss my rosie red ass but I will be looking forward to Friday with much anticipation. Did I just say that?:)
U might not believe me
but I was thinking the same thing. Where are u Beck. U should be doing stand-up IMHO ILMAO
Thanks.. Not very current at all
Thanks for that update Outoftime
Is that a package of saltines in that demo kit??
Perhaps for lunch.
The last FaceBook post was from October.
https://www.facebook.com/jposolutionsinc/
Not so current IMHO
Add me to the 'no FB' crowd. I'm hardly a technophobe (ran IT for a US insurance carrier for a number of years); just don't care to know ever so much about people's lives (like what they had for dinner, etc.). Pretty certain nobody wants to know that much about my life either.
So - nice to see green anyway. I don't regret getting back in for a small amount, which I did last year. Still think the new operators have potential to make something happen, and at these levels it wouldn't take much to push the knob forward and provide some profits, particularly for the longs that didn't get in during the (short lived) quarter per share days. Still think the market for oil change shops, automotive dealers, etc., etc...would be lucrative - if the powers that be could generate some solid distribution channels. Kind of a 'Safety-Kleen' type deal.
This was an enjoyable board during the 'glory days' - sometimes beckpnd's (?) posts cost me a nose full of morning coffee.....
boogie, as one of the mods, I should stay on topic. However I will put something together for you for Fri's happy hour. In the meantime
you found a good board, suggest read for now.
hey
I looked up your bavituximad. Looks fairly promising, phase11/111. Obviously, you've been following it for awhile so what's the readersdigest version of your take on it-if you've got the time?tia
Haha think I'd hit the sell button way before .30 but a little run to .10 sure would be nice
run coming?
I'd like to get back to $.30 from the days of Charlie and BP. I would sell there.LOL
Nothing on earnings whispers..... eom
Thanks boogie.. No Facebook for me either.. Lol thought I was the last one.. I'm holding and hoping there is a run coming for one reason or another
From what I hear
all the chatter is on facebook, which I don't do..Something seems to be up, what I don't know. 300% above 52 week low. I don't think it's insider trades cause they got zillions free,, Maybe friends? Still holding.. good luck to all
More early volume and bid actually building a little.. Anyone hearing anything here??
Agree that is an amazing stat.. It's a new game that's for sure..
I'm still holding a small amount of mopn myself.. Not buying but I'm watching to see if they have a run in them. Promising few days I guess Is a start
I'm peaked as well...holding but not buying
No penalties last night...amazing.
Cheers
Ok my interest is peaked just a little Anyone here the one buying ?
That was the markets dropping......
Fingers Crossed here and hoping for some! We are long overdue. I can't imagine it will be bad when it does come, but then again you just never know!
Cheers to all us believers!
Agree - any significant sales should drive this appreciably higher, and reward the ever-so-patient longs with some well deserved profit.
Wouldn't hurt returning investors like myself either...lol
GLTY
I'm with you. I was able to pick up some 0034s in December which put me in a real good position price average wise. Now we just need to see that couple million $ in new business + another million $ for the 11 new rigs in January and we should be on our way. GL
Trying to pick up some additional shares....can't seem to get a hit on my order......still think enough good things coming to bump the price from current levels. Hope never dies...lol
Hopefully we'll be seeing some news soon, at least, regarding the signing of those 11 new oil rigs mentioned in October news release.

MOP Environmental Solutions, Inc. and JPO Companies, Inc. Complete Merger
The nearly-four-year saga of MOP Environmental Solutions, Inc. (Pinksheets: MOPN) from near-bankruptcy following the death of CEO and Inventor Charles Diamond to a company poised to break out in the environmental remediation arena, is finally completed; as today James O’Brien, CEO of the new MOP Environmental Solutions, Inc. announced the completion of the merger between MOP and JPO Companies, Inc. bringing the JPO Absorbents line of products under the MOP banner.
“We knew that this was going to be a challenging process,” said CEO O’Brien, “JPO was a great little company and MOP was in trouble, but had the intellectual property that we needed to break out - to make us stand out in the field. Bringing the two companies together with some new products - like MOP Plus - combining the technologies of the two companies has created a company where truly the whole is greater than the sum of the parts; we are incredibly excited about the future. ”
“For the past year we have been field testing the response of customers and prospects to our new JPO-Ultra Blend, the JPO-100 series, current MOP products, and to MOP Plus, our newest product. The response has been tremendous! Combining the intellectual property, the patents and the assets of the two companies allows us to aggressively reach out to both the response side and the maintenance side of the spill cleanup market - something that very few other companies can do. We believe that the result will be exponential rather than linear growth for the new MOP Environmental Solutions, Inc. through the existing relationships and extensive network of JPO Absorbents.”
“Jamie O’Brien deserves a lot of credit for having the foresight to bring this merger to completion,” said James Reck, Vice President of the new MOP Environmental Solutions. “He has carefully tested the markets and then constructed a solid pathway for the merger that will allow us to hit the ground running, including bringing MOPN into compliance with Pinksheets and taking steps to protect the interests of shareholders in the process.”
With characteristic modesty, O’Brien said, “A lot of people deserve credit for where we are today, this hasn’t been a one man show. Jim Reck has kept us moving ahead even when things seemed to be tied up in knots. This has been a team effort and moving forward it will be the new core group that makes MOP Environmental Solutions a powerhouse in the spill response/clean up and environmental remediation field. I am proud to be associated with these folks and I look forward to making things happen for MOP and JPO.”

MOP is an aggressive oleophyllic and hydrophobic
(oil attracting and water repelling) recycled fiber sorbent, made from fully
biodegradable components.
MOP sorbents are specifically formulated for either oil pick up on water, oils spills
on land or hard surfaces or spills containing water base or oil base liquids.
MOP products can be completely recycled by a number of processes:
bioremediation in a land farm, burning as a fuel in an appropriate biomass
system, composting or pelletizing the material for use in a stove. In most states, it
can also be simply disposed of as you would any other solid waste.
MOP Environmental Solution’s Oil spill containment and remediation remains the most important aspect of our mission and is built around our patented MOP Maximum Oil Pickup sorbents, MOP 201, MOP 301 and 401.
MOP sorbents are the most cost-effective and performance-efficient sorbents on the planet. MOP, (Maximum Oil Pickup) sorbents are used to create a family of products and solutions that yield a more environmentally sound and financially beneficial end result by reducing the generation of hazardous wastes where removal of oil from water based-solvents and coolants can be achieved.
MOP – Maximum Oil Pickup oil sorbent (Oil absorption medium) is – by far – the most cost-efficient and performance-effective oil sorbent in existence.
MOP 201 is optimized for use on water.
MOP 301 is optimized for use on land and specifically is designed to aid in the remediation of oil contaminated soil where recovery of the resource is not possible or desired. Both can be used in either environment, but their effectiveness is maximized when they are used according to their optimization. MOP 201 and 301 absorb oil and repel water.
MOP 401 absorbs both oil-based liquids and water-based liquids. MOP 401 is a Universal sorbent and a floor sweep.
While the formula for MOP is a trade secret, it is possible to say that all the major components of MOP sorbents are created from all recycled materials. For customers and others interested in recycling and environmental stewardship it is important to know that the sorbents are created from sectors of the waste stream, known as “recovered materials” the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) term for materials that are technically recyclable but that otherwise are without markets for the recycled materials. EPA, understandably, places a high priority on the use of items that employ “recovered materials” giving MOP an additional leg up on the competition in government bids and contract negotiations. Furthermore, because recovered materials constitute the highest percentage of our sorbent’s makeup, our raw materials costs are more stable and predictable and less subject to the fluctuations of the market for other raw materials like polypropylene.
MOP’s patented process employs only biodegradable materials. The final formula makes 201 and 301 sorbents Oleophilic (oil loving/absorbant) and hydrophobic (water hating/repelling). With properties like this, the moment that the sorbent is spread on an oil spill on land or water, it sucks up the oil and repels any water. This means that as the sorbent is cleaned up only oil is captured with it. For those circumstances where picking up both hydrocarbon-based liquids and water-based liquids is desired (an automobile accident, a garage floor for example) MOP 401 is optimized to absorb almost all liquids.
The current MOP product offerings are being sold as MOP but under the JPO Absorbents heading. So our price list shows our JPO line of absorbent products, AND the current MOP products that we offer. And they are identified by their MOP part numbers. MOP 201, MOP 301, etc. It’s great to see MOP back in use and available from distributors.
Given JPO’s presence in the marketplace and the existing relationships we have in all major markets, it just makes sense to include the MOP line under one umbrella. With the MOP line of absorbent products, JPO is truly the one stop solution for any spill, in any environment at any time.
