I'm thinking that if $DSMTF provides all the necessary paperwork backing up their claims that the Ministry will issue a license rather quickly...hence the expedited court date.
Deep-South Resources is a mineral exploration and development company Deep-South growth strategy is to focus on the exploration and development of quality assets in significant mineralized trends and in proximity to infrastructure in stable countries. In using and assessing environmentally friendly technologies in the development of its copper project, Deep-South embraces the green revolution. $DSMTF
I will be watching closely for further developments announced from DSMTF on this legal case. It seems to me that the company has a very good chance of prevailing and that would be extremely positive for shareholder value here.
The DSMTF legal claim is moving forward quite rapidly with the Nambia High Court ordering the next filings to be made by November 11th. Generally, legal issues take long periods to resolve or even make any progress at all. It is very encouraging to see this case moving ahead so quickly. A positive ruling for DSMTF could mean a lot here.
Nice $DSMTF volume so far this morning...
Agree, positive steps here.
DSMTF
From reading the latest $DSMTF, it seems as though once the company produces all paperwork showing involvement of the Ministry in the changing of the Study, and notification of cmsaid changes...we should expect a license to be issued shortly afterwards.
The Company is vigorously contesting the decision by all means necessary and available under the Minerals (Prospecting and Mining) Act (the "Act") and other applicable laws of Namibia. In its application for renewal and subsequent representations made to the Ministry, the Company maintains that it clearly demonstrated having met all criteria under the Act to justify the renewal of its Licence.
DSMTF
Looking forward to a resolution... looks like miscommunication within the Ministry. $DSMTF
Moreover, the Ministry issued all permits required for the drilling program and are well aware that Deep-South has completed the drilling program.
$DSMTF trading just over 60% of its average volume with less than 2.5 hours left in the day, on the News today...

The Company maintains that the Ministry was kept well apprised, with no objection on their part, of a proposed change from the Pre-Feasibility study to an upgraded Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) and commencement of a full feasibility study. The latter was already started at the time of the refusal. Moreover, the Ministry issued all permits required for the drilling program and are well aware that Deep-South has completed the drilling program.
As a result of the Minister's refusal to renew the Licence, the Company terminated all work on site and proceeded with the retrenchment of its employees on site.

Great find... definitely bodes well for $DSMTF.
DSMTF has high opportunity with its copper mining focus and all the increased demand for this precious metal in the world today. There are also moves to close down some copper mining in the US and other countries at this time which could make the DSMTF operation in Nambia even more important and valuable.
