$DVAX $4.34 CRL - unfortunately I didn't exit before this pre market announcement. I decided to do a bit of a risky move on the back of what seemed to be a market over-reaction. I doubled down and bought more shares at the market open ($3.30)and sold again using a trailing stop as it regained come ground in early trading. A eager attempt to recover some of my losses before exiting this play.

When the smoke cleared, I locked in a loss of -45% (-$7939.44). It hurt for sure, but these things happen when you trade in biotech and I'm happy with my reaction to the news despite locking in a loss.

I'm still playing mostly PDUFA plays but have added a couple of tickers in order to take advantage of the market volatility (XBI, XXII, LABU).

It's disappointing when this happens, but recognizing when it is time to exit is part of the job of successful trading. For now I think my $$ is better off on the sidelines, ready for another play.
