Pretty decent earnings release today.
It has moved a little after hours here, but it's not up 10% with little to go but down.
Let's see if it has enough legs to go to $18
Bought back in again below $16
Mid-stream should be big in this post-pandemic world.

KMI beat on both the top and bottom line. Nice increase in the share price AH
KMI earnings out after the close today. Should be interesting.
longer term position that will come back strong once we get thru0gh the current situation. Will continue to reinvest all distributions at no cost to me and accumulate cheap shares in long term tax deferred account. Is grossly undervalued right now, as is KMI
ET- Energy Transfer: “Why do you want to reach for yield? Why do you want to create problems for yourself? Why do you want to hurt yourself? We have enough problems already. The answer is no.”
“Also have even larger position(s) in ET, which at its current price yields 20.71%, and they just reaffirmed the distribution payout.”
These situations rarely end well..
Dividend is 6.97% at this price and I plan to just hold my substantial KMI position(s) on automatic dividend reinvestment and accumulate a lot more shares down at these undervalued levels via reinvestment of all dividends.
Also have even larger position(s) in ET, which at its current price yields 20.71%, and they just reaffirmed the distribution payout.
XOM will get worse before it gets better. Oil companies have a hard road ahead. The cure for all this is...of course...for the world economy to get restarted. It will get better. These opportunities don’t come very often. Must take advantage.
$kmi Kinder Morgan is one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. We own an interest in or operate approximately 83,000 miles of pipelines and 147 terminals. Our pipelines transport natural gas, gasoline, crude oil, carbon dioxide (CO2) and more. Our terminals store and handle petroleum products, chemicals and other products.
The revolutionary shale plays across the United States are creating a tremendous need for more energy infrastructure, which bodes well for us. We invest billions of dollars each year to grow the company by building new and expanding existing assets to help ensure that a variety of energy products get delivered into the marketplace.
In most of our businesses we operate like a giant toll road and receive a fee for our services, generally avoiding commodity price risk. Our customers include major oil companies, energy producers and shippers, local distribution companies and businesses across many industries.
Kinder Morgan is committed to being a good corporate citizen and conducting ourselves in an ethical and responsible manner. We spend hundreds of millions of dollars each year on integrity management and maintenance programs to operate our assets safely and to protect the public, our employees, contractors and the environment. Operationally, we continue to perform better than our industry peers relative to environmental, health and safety measures.

I Know I'm talking about accumulation now and hodling lol
I'm looking at CVX and XOM seriously right now
Sugar, it won’t take 12 years of holding.
$10 wow. If only retail investors could buy and hold for the next decade.
Untouchable now..
This has been on my watch list. Seems like a great buy if it’s done falling.
Sorry, with the 8^) face, I figured you would know I was joking. Kinder can't take it private..
Don't think so. He owns a lot but not near enough to do that without a lot of help
He is going to take it private 8^)
Richard Kinder's huge insider buying spree continued in February, with very large block purchases of KMI shares, on top of the $130 Million in KMI shares he acquired in 2019 to add to his already massive positions, as reported in Barron's this am.
KMI reaches a new 52 week high today. No doubt raising the dividend 25% this year has something to do with that..
Excellent news. Liking the stronger share price here of late, and great prospects for further dividend increases.
BlackRock reveals a 6% ownership in KMI:

some body will figure out that,s just money in the air, i would say it's also bad for the enviroment, but profits "up in smoke" will get something done. Ng will be our go to fuel until solar, wind, and geo thermal come on line. my only concern is if there's enough Ng to power the country for 50+yrs., they will try to slow down the wind. i've installed solar at my home in a state with few sunny days through the winter. since oct. we have produced over 2.2 mega watts of power. solar can't be stopped. jmo
On the KMI conference call, the president said they know the Permian basin needs two more pipelines because they are flairing huge volumes of gas so they can extract the oil! So wasteful and detrimental to the environment. Many bolt on projects ahead financed only by operational cashflow.
this company is set to be a big time winner. (imo). coal is dead. it is possible to convert a coal burner powerhouse over to natural gas. Ng is cleaner than coal, making more profit for mega watt produced.( no unloading, conveyor belt, precipitator, scrubber, ash storage costs. because kmi gets their money from cu.ft. moved, they aren't burdened by fracking rules or epa regulations. the cost of Ng will, over time, go up. kmi doesn't care, they will still get their cut from product moved. everyone will be going to Ng powered "peakers" to fill in our energy needs do to closing of "coal burners". winner winner chicken dinner. jmo
Kinder Morgan (KMI) reached a new 52 week high today. Possibly related, they are raising their dividend 25% this year (as they did last year, 25%), starting in 2020 second quarter..
KMI in very strong position heading into 2020.

Yes, anything happening in or around Austin will be met with resistance from the leftist freaks. Makes me happy KMI is pushing through regardless.
Dividend increase. Yes, the Chairman, Richard Kinder, discussed this on the Q3 CC, and mentioned specifically the increase to the $1.25 run rate starting with the Q2 (May) payment. Also, they are marching forward with the new pipeline through the Hills area -Austin of Texas where there has been some resistance.
Prospect of increased dividends going forward still in place.
Yes it is, and I suspect there will be further increases in the dividend.
I am a newbie I wish I got into this years good GLTA
Kinder Morgan OK to start commercial service at Elba LNG export facility
Oct. 1, 2019 10:58 AM ET|About: Kinder Morgan, Inc. (KMI)|By: Carl Surran, SA News Editor
Kinder Morgan (KMI -0.7%) is approved to place into commercial service the first liquefaction train at its Elba LNG export terminal in Georgia, following consistent liquefied natural gas production at the facility over the last two weeks.
No commissioning cargoes have shipped from the facility, however, and it remains unclear when the first commercial cargo will be ready to load.
Elba, which is backed by a 20-year offtake agreement with Shell, is the smallest of the existing crop of major U.S. LNG export terminals.
The dividend is scheduled to rise 25% next year starting in the second quarter payout.
Thanks. I owned several years ago, but needed $ for other things & sold. Hadn't followed it since then.
KMI's current dividend yield is 4.78%. The dividend has been paid out at .25 per quarter, or $1.00 per year. There have been indications that KMI will at some point begin to increase the dividend to build back up to prior levels.
KMI dividend will be declared in October and paid the middle of November.
