if expressing my thoughts provoke you to anger. then the only way to reply is by name calling. that is a known fact.
Well....there's a perfect example of how things escalate. You push my buttons without any provocation and then act innocent when I pin your ears to the wall. That's what earned you the title of weasel.
As far as banning you?......forget it, lol. You've earned your place here. Remember, I didn't ask to be a mod.
Now, if you don't mind, I've had enough banal arguing the last few days. I intend to enjoy the rest of today. Hope you do the same.
i posted that chloe should remove as mod. you are a sorry excuse for a mod- unless you like 'do as i say not as i do' mods of course.
if chloe read what i posted then he will know how i feel. if he doesn't then he won't.
" Psalm 148 enumerates other ways in which creation declares God’s glory. Verse 7 reads: “Praise Jehovah from the earth, you sea monsters and all you watery deeps.” Yes, the “watery deeps” are full of wonders that highlight God’s wisdom and power. The blue whale has an average weight of 120 tons—as much as 30 elephants! Its heart alone weighs over 1,000 pounds [450 kg] and is able to pump some 14,000 pounds [6,400 kg] of blood through its body! Are these mammoth sea monsters slow and clumsy in the water? Hardly. They “zip around the oceans” at impressive speeds, says a report by European Cetacean Bycatch Campaign. Satellite tracking showed that “one animal migrated more than 10,000 miles [16,000 km] in 10 months.”
The bottle-nosed dolphin normally dives to depths of 150 feet [45 m], but the deepest recorded dive for a dolphin is 1,795 feet [547 m]! How does this mammal survive such a dive? Its heartbeat slows down during the dive, and blood is diverted to the heart, lungs, and brain. Also, its muscles contain a chemical that stores oxygen. Elephant seals and sperm whales can dive to even greater depths. “Instead of fighting the pressure,” says Discover magazine, “they let it collapse their lungs completely.” They store most of the oxygen they need in their muscles. Clearly, these creatures are living testimony to the wisdom of an all-powerful God!
Even seawater reflects Jehovah’s wisdom. Says Scientific American: “Every drop of water in the top 100 meters of the ocean contains thousands of free-floating, microscopic flora called phytoplankton.” This “invisible forest” cleans our air by drawing out billions of tons of carbon dioxide. Phytoplankton generates more than half of the oxygen we breathe.
Psalm 148:8 says: “You fire and hail, snow and thick smoke, you tempestuous wind, accomplishing his word.” Yes, Jehovah also uses the inanimate forces of nature to accomplish his will. Consider fire. In decades past, forest fires were viewed only as destructive. Researchers now believe that fire plays an important ecological role, eliminating old or dying trees, promoting the germination of many seeds, recycling nutrients, and actually reducing the risk of wildfire. Snow is also vital, watering and fertilizing the ground, replenishing rivers, and insulating plants and animals from freezing temperatures.
“You mountains and all you hills, you fruit trees and all you cedars,” recounts Psalm 148:9. Majestic mountains are a testimony to Jehovah’s great power. (Psalm 65:6) But they also serve a practical purpose. A report from the Institute of Geography in Bern, Switzerland, says: “All the major rivers in the world have their headwaters in mountains. More than half of humanity relies on the fresh water that accumulates in mountains . . .
These ‘water towers’ are crucial to the welfare of humankind.” Even the commonplace tree is a glory to its Maker. A report by the United Nations Environment Programme says that trees “are important for the well-being of people in all countries . . . Many tree species are of major economic importance as the source of products such as timber, fruits, nuts, resins and gums. Worldwide, 2 billion people depend on wood for cooking and fuel.”
Evidence of a wise creator is seen in the very design of a tree. Consider a simple leaf. The outside has a waxy coating that keeps the leaf from drying out. Right under the coating on the upper side is an array of cells containing chloroplasts. These contain chlorophyll, which absorbs light energy. Through a process called photosynthesis, leaves become “food factories.”
Water is taken up through the tree’s roots and transported to the leaves by a sophisticated “plumbing system.” Thousands of tiny “valves” (called stomata) on a leaf’s underside open and close, letting in carbon dioxide. Light supplies the energy for water and carbon dioxide to combine and produce carbohydrates. The plant can now feed on the very food it has created. Yet, this “factory” is silent and beautiful. Instead of polluting, it emits oxygen as a by-product!
“You wild animals and all you domestic animals, you creeping things and winged birds,” says Psalm 148:10. Many land animals and flying creatures display amazing abilities. The Laysan albatross can fly enormous distances (in one case 25,000 miles [40,000 km] in just 90 days). The blackpoll warbler makes the trip from North to South America, staying aloft for over 80 hours nonstop.
The camel stores water, not in his hump as commonly thought, but in his digestive system, allowing him to go for long periods without becoming dehydrated. Little wonder, then, that engineers carefully observe the animal kingdom when designing machines and new materials. “If you want to build something that will behave well . . . and fit flawlessly in its environment,” says writer Gail Cleere, “chances are you’ll find a good example somewhere in nature.”
Yes, creation truly declares the glory of God! From the starry heavens to plants and animals, each in its own way brings praise to its Creator. "
let me guess - you are going to ban me now? lol
'
i know your ihub code of ethics - 'do as i say- not as i do'
That was for y'all benefit, not mine. If you're unhappy, tell Chloe.....(I'm sure you will, lol)
Later.......
Enough of the inaccurate generalities. I have my code of behavior. You may not agree with it but it's there.
Have a good day.
it bothered you so little that you addressed it - lol
pure bs. chloe needs to remove you as mod. you are only calm rational and wise in your own eyes.
I think I answered that in the post you're responding to. Calling me a heretic doesn't bother me in the least, whereas it should bother you....but you were nowhere to be found.
you like to try and control the board and individuals that challenge you- i seen you do the same thing on the money politics board
" Evidences of Divine Wisdom--- Have you ever marveled at the ingenuity of a craftsman who makes beautiful things that work well? That is an impressive type of wisdom. (Exodus 31:1-3) Jehovah himself is the source of and the ultimate possessor of such wisdom. King David said of Jehovah: “I shall laud you because in a fear-inspiring way I am wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, as my soul is very well aware.” (Psalm 139:14) Indeed, the more we learn about the human body, the more we find ourselves awed by Jehovah’s wisdom.
To illustrate: You started as a single cell—an egg cell from your mother, fertilized by a sperm from your father. Soon, that cell started to divide. You, the end product, are made of some 100 trillion cells. They are tiny. About 10,000 average-sized cells would fit on the head of a pin.
Yet, each one is a creation of mind-boggling complexity. The cell is far more intricate than any man-made machine or factory. Scientists say that a cell is like a walled city—one with controlled entrances and exits, a transportation system, a communications network, power plants, production plants, waste disposal and recycling facilities, defense agencies, and even a sort of central government in its nucleus. Furthermore, the cell can make a complete replica of itself within just a few hours!
Not all cells are the same, of course. As the cells of an embryo continue to divide, they assume very different functions. Some will be nerve cells; others bone, muscle, blood, or eye cells. All such differentiation is programmed into the cell’s “library” of genetic blueprints, the DNA.
Interestingly, David was inspired to say to Jehovah: “Your eyes saw even the embryo of me, and in your book all its parts were down in writing.”—Psalm 139:16.
Some body parts are immensely complex. Consider, for example, the human brain. Some have called it the most complex object yet discovered in the universe. It contains some 100 billion nerve cells—about as many as the number of stars in our galaxy. Each of those cells branches off into thousands of connections with other cells. Scientists say that a human brain could contain all the information in all the world’s libraries and that its storage capacity may, in fact, be unfathomable.
Despite decades of studying this “wonderfully made” organ, scientists admit that they may never fully understand how it works.
Humans, however, are just one example of Jehovah’s creative wisdom. Psalm 104:24 says: “How many your works are, O Jehovah! All of them in wisdom you have made. The earth is full of your productions.” Jehovah’s wisdom is apparent in every creation around us.
The ant, for example, is “instinctively wise.” (Proverbs 30:24) Indeed, ant colonies are superbly organized. Some ant colonies tend, shelter, and draw nourishment from insects called aphids as if these were livestock. Other ants act as farmers, raising and cultivating “crops” of fungus. Many other creatures have been programmed to do remarkable things by instinct.
A common fly performs aerobatic feats that the most advanced of man’s aircraft cannot duplicate. Migrating birds navigate by the stars, by the orientation of the earth’s magnetic field, or by some form of internal map.
Biologists spend years studying the sophisticated behaviors that have been programmed into these creatures. How wise, then, the divine Programmer must be!
Scientists have learned much from Jehovah’s creative wisdom. There is even a field of engineering, called biomimetics, that seeks to mimic designs found in nature.
For instance, you may have gazed in wonder at the beauty of a spiderweb. But an engineer sees it as a marvel of design. Some frail-looking strands are proportionately stronger than steel, tougher than the fibers in a bulletproof vest. Just how strong? Imagine a spiderweb enlarged in scale until it is the size of a net used on a fishing boat. Such a web could catch a passenger plane in mid-flight! Yes, Jehovah has made all such things “in wisdom.” "
While he was here, most of the regs, including yourself, stopped posting. I rest my case.
In any case, it's a 2 day ban. I want him to chill out and think.
it's funny - you think its ok to call posters weasels, retards and tell them to shut the fuck up- but when you are called a heretic- that is crossing the line- lol
like i said earlier- thanks for the early morning laugh
from my perspective he is just a poster with his own style and his own opinions.
not disruptive at all compared to any number of other posters.
Not always. That's unfair and you know that. My belief is that if the Foo shits, wear it.
He was also disruptive....making categorical statements and then offering those as proof without ANY intention of discussing anything or listening to another point of view.
To let him continue in that vein, you might as well change the name of the board to Multi's Madness....."I am right because I'm Multi Mouth".
you warm up to the poster 1st before the insults and name calling starts. multi is quick to the punch(or should i say to the name calling) each person has their own style.
multi fits right in to our discussion board. seems like he knows a lot about the catholic church and is not afraid to express himself.
We know each other dude....there lies the difference. I don't generally start out that way with anyone.
I'm sorry you're offended Jonah, but that's your problem, not mine. I'm not bound by your sensibilities........I didn't say that for effect......I call them as I see them. From a human standpoint, which we both are, the likes of Hitler and Stalin don't hold a candle to Jehovah. If "He" did exist, "He" would be the biggest mass murderer of all time.....and deserves no respect from anyone. If we are indeed "His" children then "He" could set a better example. It's no wonder that followers of the "Sky God" religions are so brutal.
good morning wally. you tell him! excellent advice in your post ->...stop with the name calling and arrogance
lol- starting the day off with a laugh is always good. thank you
quote--"he was closer to the truth in that statement than the depiction of the psychopathic asshole in the bible that you call Jehovah. "
very offensive and disrespectful --uncalled for --
"Jehovah is called “the God of Israel” and ‘the God of their forefathers.’ (1Ch 17:24; Ex 3:16) Yet this intimate association with the Hebrews and with the Israelite nation gives no reason for limiting the name to that of a tribal god, as some have done. The Christian apostle Paul wrote: “Is he the God of the Jews only? Is he not also of people of the nations? Yes, of people of the nations also.” (Ro 3:29) Jehovah is not only “the God of the whole earth” (Isa 54:5) but also the God of the universe, “the Maker of heaven and earth.” (Ps 124:8) Jehovah’s covenant with Abraham, nearly 2,000 years earlier than Paul’s day, had promised blessings for people of all nations, showing God’s interest in all mankind.—Ge 12:1-3; compare Ac 10:34, 35; 11:18."
"The fact of the existence of God is proved by the order, power, and complexity of creation, macroscopic and microscopic, and through his dealings with his people throughout history. In looking into what might be called the Book of Divine Creation, scientists learn much. One can learn from a book only if intelligent thought and preparation have been put into the book by its author.
In contrast to the lifeless gods of the nations, Jehovah is “the living God.” (Jer 10:10; 2Co 6:16) Everywhere there is testimony to his activity and his greatness. “The heavens are declaring the glory of God; and of the work of his hands the expanse is telling.” (Ps 19:1) Men have no reason or excuse for denying God, because “what may be known about God is manifest among them, for God made it manifest to them. For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable.”—Ro 1:18-20.
Jehovah God is described in the Bible as living from time indefinite to time indefinite, forever (Ps 90:2, 4; Re 10:6), and as being the King of eternity, incorruptible, invisible, the only true God. (1Ti 1:17) There existed no god before him.—Isa 43:10, 11.
Infinite, but approachable. The true God is infinite and beyond the mind of man fully to fathom. The creature could never hope to become equal to his Creator or understand all the workings of His mind. (Ro 11:33-36) But He can be found and approached, and He supplies his worshiper with all that is necessary for the worshiper’s welfare and happiness. (Ac 17:26, 27; Ps 145:16)
He is ever at the zenith of his ability and willingness to give good gifts and presents to his creatures, as it is written: “Every good gift and every perfect present is from above, for it comes down from the Father of the celestial lights, and with him there is not a variation of the turning of the shadow.” (Jas 1:17)
Jehovah always acts within his own righteous arrangements, doing all things on a legal basis. (Ro 3:4, 23-26) For this reason all of his creatures can have complete confidence in him, knowing that he always abides by the principles he establishes. He does not change (Mal 3:6), and there is no “variation” with him in the application of his principles. There is no partiality with him (De 10:17, 18; Ro 2:11), and it is impossible for him to lie.—Nu 23:16, 19; Tit 1:1, 2; Heb 6:17, 18.
His attributes. The true God is not omnipresent, for he is spoken of as having a location. (1Ki 8:49; Joh 16:28; Heb 9:24) His throne is in heaven. (Isa 66:1) He is all-powerful, being the Almighty God. (Ge 17:1; Re 16:14) “All things are naked and openly exposed to the eyes of him,” and he is “the One telling from the beginning the finale.” (Heb 4:13; Isa 46:10, 11; 1Sa 2:3) His power and knowledge extend everywhere, reaching every part of the universe.—2Ch 16:9; Ps 139:7-12; Am 9:2-4.
The true God is spirit, not flesh (Joh 4:24; 2Co 3:17), though he sometimes likens his attributes of sight, power, and so forth, to human faculties. Thus he speaks figuratively of his “arm” (Ex 6:6), his “eyes,” and his “ears” (Ps 34:15), and he points out that, since he is the Creator of human eyes and ears, he certainly can see and hear.—Ps 94:9.
Some of God’s primary attributes are love (1Jo 4:8), wisdom (Pr 2:6; Ro 11:33), justice (De 32:4; Lu 18:7, 8), and power (Job 37:23; Lu 1:35). He is a God of order and of peace. (1Co 14:33) He is completely holy, clean and pure (Isa 6:3; Hab 1:13; Re 4:8); happy (1Ti 1:11); and merciful (Ex 34:6; Lu 6:36). Many other qualities of his personality are described in the Scriptures.
His position. Jehovah is the Supreme Sovereign of the universe, the King eternal. (Ps 68:20; Da 4:25, 35; Ac 4:24; 1Ti 1:17) The position of his throne is the ultimate for superiority. (Eze 1:4-28; Da 7:9-14; Re 4:1-8) He is the Majesty (Heb 1:3; 8:1), the Majestic God, the Majestic One. (1Sa 4:8; Isa 33:21) He is the Source of all life.—Job 33:4; Ps 36:9; Ac 17:24, 25.
His righteousness and glory. The true God is a righteous God. (Ps 7:9) He is the glorious God. (Ps 29:3; Ac 7:2) He enjoys eminence above all (De 33:26), being clothed with eminence and strength (Ps 93:1; 68:34) and with dignity and splendor. (Ps 104:1; 1Ch 16:27; Job 37:22; Ps 8:1) “His activity is dignity and splendor themselves.” (Ps 111:3) There is glory of splendor in his Kingship.—Ps 145:11, 12.
His purpose. God has a purpose that he will work out and that cannot be thwarted. (Isa 46:10; 55:8-11) His purpose, as expressed at Ephesians 1:9, 10, is “to gather all things together again in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth.” By means of Christ all intelligent creation will be brought into full harmony with God. (Compare Mt 6:9, 10.)
None existed before Jehovah; therefore he has seniority over all. (Isa 44:6) He, being the Creator, existed before any other gods, and ‘none will exist after him,’ because the nations will never produce a real, live god that is able to prophesy. (Isa 43:10; 46:9, 10) As the Alpha and the Omega (Re 22:13), he is the one and only Almighty God; he will bring to a successful conclusion the issue over Godship, being forever vindicated as the only Almighty God. (Re 1:8; 21:5, 6) He never forgets or forsakes his purposes or covenants, which makes him a God of dependability and loyalty.—Ps 105:8. "
We may do that when the school age ones get back.
Mornin J......go outside and play ball......you have enough for 2 teams, lol.
Good morning wall. Beautiful day outside, I'm stuck inside playing mr. mom today. The wife went on a four day trip to visit her friends. :( I'm not happy but let her go.

JPMorgan Chase Closes Vatican Bank Account
Mar 21, 2012 11:27 AM EDT
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/03/21/jp-morgan-chase-closes-vatican-bank-account.html
The investment bank’s decision to close a Vatican-held account on suspicion of money laundering is the latest financial scandal to rock the Holy See.
The Vatican is in public-relations panic-mode ... again. But it’s not the pedophile priest scandal or Vatileaks that has the pope’s image-makers hopping. This time the Holy See faces serious allegations that its curious accounting practices are really a cover for a money-laundering scheme.
On March 30, the Milan branch of the global investment bank JPMorgan Chase will officially close the Vatican bank’s account No. 1365—held by the Institute for Works of Religion, or the IOR—on speculation that the account is being used for less-than-immaculate financial deeds. JPMorgan Chase sent a letter to the Vatican on Feb. 15 to notify them of the closure after the Vatican bankers were “unable to respond” to a series of requests about questionable money transfers from the account. The JPMorgan Chase account was a “sweeping facility” that was zeroed out at the end of each business day. The account, which was opened in 2009, had processed some $1.5 billion in funds to other Vatican accounts—mostly in Germany—during the short time it was open, according to financial documents published in Italy’s leading financial newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore. There is nothing illegal about the use of sweeping facilities, but in the case of the JPMorgan Chase account, the fact that Vatican bankers couldn’t quite explain the reason they moved so much money in such a short period of time led the bank to close the account. The closure is the product of an ongoing investigation into the Vatican’s alleged creative accounting that began in September 2010 when tax police in Rome froze $33 million in Vatican assets after a covert investigation raised eyebrows about the way the church moves its millions and keeps its accounting. The assets were eventually released in June 2011, but the investigation is ongoing.
The Vatican has not commented on the JPMorgan Chase fiasco, but revelations in the form of leaked letters between Vatican officials that emerged last winter seem to back up the notion that all is not sacrosanct with the Vatican coffers. In one leaked letter written by Cardinal Carlo Maria Viganò, who was hastily transferred to Washington, D.C., to head the Holy See embassy there earlier this year, outright talk of rampant corruption within the Holy See sent ripples around Rome. In the letter, which was written on Vatican letterhead and sealed with an official stamp, Vigano tried to persuade the pope to let him stay in Rome to continue his anti-fraud work. “Holy Father, my transfer at this time would provoke much disorientation and discouragement in those who have believed it was possible to clean up so many situations of corruption and abuse of power that have been rooted in the management of so many departments.”
The leaked letter scandal was quickly dubbed “Vatileaks” by the Vatican’s own spokesman. The Holy See did not deny the authenticity of the documents. Instead they opened an internal investigation into potential moles. So far, no one has been named as a source for the breach, but the document leaks have ceased for the moment.
In one leaked letter written by a cardinal, outright talk of rampant corruption within the Holy See sent ripples around Rome.
During the height of Vatileaks earlier this year, the Vatican maintained it is doing what it can to prove that its records are clean. In late 2010 the pope christened an anti-corruption arm within the Roman Curia called the Financial Information Authority with an eye to securing a place on the international Financial Action Task Force’s coveted “white list” of states that adhere to the international standards in the fight against corruption, tax fraud, and money laundering. Placement on the list would have silenced the speculation that the Vatican was up to no good.
Despite the efforts to prove otherwise, the damage to the church’s financial reputation has already been done. Earlier this month, the U.S. State Department named the Holy See on a list of its own, as a “jurisdiction of concern” for money-laundering practices in its annual International Narcotics Control Strategy Report, alongside countries like Honduras and Syria. The Vatican shrugged off the State Department’s scolding and instead said being a “jurisdiction of concern” was far better than being a “primary concern.” But Reuters financial columnist Pierre Briançon disagrees. “The best way for the Vatican to come clean would of course be to close the bank: it’s hard to see why it’s needed other than to shroud the Church’s financial dealings in a veil of obsessive secrecy,” he wrote in a recent blog post. “Barring such a radical exorcism, a clean sweep is in order.”
This is not the first time the Vatican bank has been named in immoral activities. Three decades ago, the Holy See faced its first battle against allegations of money laundering and corruption, and it was named in the mysterious death of Roberto Calvi, known then as “God’s Banker.” Calvi was president of Banco Amborsiano despite being a Freemason with alleged mafia ties. The bank collapsed amid allegations of sinister activities, and Calvi was found hanging from a rope with bricks in his pockets under the Blackfriars Bridge in London. The Vatican was able to redeem its reputation back then—at least temporarily. Whether it will be able to save face this time may depend on divine intervention, or at least a better accountant.
Good morning everyone.....it's a beautiful day in Chicago. I hope the sun is shining where you are.
You're a retard....good-bye.
Oh no....we're not gonna start this shit again today. You walk into the room swinging your dick around....challenging someone to cut it off. Well...it's been handed to you on a platter.
Let me make this perfectly clear to you. Whether your "God" exists, or any "God" for that matter, can perhaps be proven to one's self, but certainly not to another person. You admit that yourself. As you said. "Well I can't pull him outta the heavens for you." That should be the end of story. It's an argument that everyone knows ya can't win, because what you believe is based on faith....I've been told that many times..... and yet here you are playing the fool......making claims you can't back up...."I take on any Challengers"...."I'll shred you to pieces". Maybe you can succeed with others that share your fantasy, but you're in the real world here.
The examples you gave are shared by many....the Jews, the Muslims, the Buddhists to some degree....almost ANYONE that isn't an atheist. I asked you to prove YOUR "God"....the "God" of the bible is THE God, and you haven't because unless someone accepts the bible as the the unerring Word of God (and that is my position.....that it isn't).....you can't!
As far as my contribution....you never asked. I've been making it here since the start of this board.....ask anyone. It's just another of your diversions. Most people get to know the posters on a board before they stomp in talkin' shit. You wanna talk about the REAL God......we can do that.
I think I've made my point.
More importantly....pay close attention.........NOBODY....and I mean NOBODY, walks into my house or my friend's house looking down their nose and issuing challenges. Talk TO people not AT them. Earn some cred. No more of your childish taunts, bluster and categorical statements.....have a conversation......stop with the name calling and arrogance. You're new here......we all have different opinions......show some respect. Calling people "heretics" is not a design to further conversation.
Get it?....if not.... get out. Take a couple of days off to think about what I'm saying. Then come back and post as you please but without the attitude.

There was a doctor, lawyer, and the town drunk sitting in the stands at a highshool football game. They looked down at the game and the doctor's boy makes a good play. The doc then says, "that's my boy, I raised him on whole milk". The lawyers boy scores a touchdown and he says,"that's my boy, I raised him on formula". Then the town drunks boy runs the wrong way and scores a touchdown for the other team. The town drunk says,"that's my boy, I raised him on milk of magnesia, ain't he the shits".
GOD PLEASE LET BAC and JPM GO BANKRUPT,THANKS,your SON MICHAEL>

I banned you not God! Lol Even Daniel was exiled!
GOD said "LET THEIR BE LIGHT"
And to THINK you can BAN GOD from me ,1234567
