Company IPO'd in early 2007 (Feb) when an SPAC (AQR) acquired Jazz Semi-conductor and formed Jazz Technologies (JAZ).

Their stock has taken a bath over the last year and a half from $5s to sub $1s because of lack of earnings. Recently Tower Semi-conductor (TSEM) has made an offer to purchase JAZ in an all stock transaction (1.8 TSEM shares for each JAZ share) at the equivalent of $2.09/ JAZ share or $40M deal. Deal is to be voted on in 2nd half, date yet to be announced.

This might be a good time to get in since JAZ is currently selling in $1.30s.
