SSP-Litronic Successfully Demonstrates Products at RSA Conference
2 March 2004, 09:15am ET
Pilot Programs for NetSign Privacy Agent Scheduled
In demonstrating NetSign® Privacy Agent and Enterprise Credential Management System at the RSA Conference last week, SSP Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: SSPX), dba SSP-Litronic, did more than just address enterprise challenges regarding secure identity management and privacy control. The Company set the stage for pilot programs that will further demonstrate the effectiveness of its products. Pilot programs for NetSign® Privacy Agent are scheduled to begin during the second quarter of 2004 covering enterprises within the insurance, government, and other industries.
As the latest addition to the NetSign® family of products, which are currently used on hundreds of thousands of computer systems worldwide, NetSign Privacy Agent performs the critical functions of securing e-mail, digital assets, and instant messaging communications. NetSign Privacy Agent supports enterprises striving to meet the security requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLB). Feature sets of NetSign Privacy Agent can be configured to meet the specific requirements of individual clients.
The Enterprise Credential Management System is an integrated combination of SSP-Litronic's Profile Manager Enterprise and NetSign® Enterprise products. Both Profile Manager Enterprise and NetSign Enterprise are based on fully tested and proven technologies, and together provide a comprehensive solution for issuing and managing the lifecycles of digital certificates, secure credentials, and smart cards. Developed with a generic web-based user interface, Profile Manager Enterprise can be customized to meet the specific needs of integrators and customers. Customization of the interface can also be requested at the time of purchase and performed by SSP-Litronic.
"Enterprises cannot afford the risk of having highly sensitive assets such as financial data, customer information, and research and development findings stolen or comprised," according to Marvin Winkler, CEO and co-chairman of SSP-Litronic. "The pilot programs we have scheduled will show how NetSign Privacy Agent builds upon our proven cryptographic technologies that have been successfully deployed for decades as the foundation for secure identity management and privacy control. Following the pilot programs, NetSign Privacy Agent will be ready for production release."
Future releases of both NetSign Privacy Agent and the Enterprise Credential Management System will be available with biometric capability.

Good to have a board to go to for current info and DD. I am more of a lurker than a poster. I bought into SSPX several years ago right after I discovered WAVX. I think both will prove to be good investments for the long haul. We just need patience for the technology to be accepted. It is coming.
OT: Sir Yaya, be carefull! You might be called a die hard
cult follower.
Some WAVX bashers have been calling the followers of WAVX
are cult members.
There are already people who say that the followers of SSPX
are also cult members.

ROFLMAO!!!!!
Hello All
Looking forward to following this board for information on SSP. I have a small holding and have considered adding more, but have been waiting to see what it's going to do. Thanks for starting this thread. Rosie
Hi everyone...
Checking in as suggested. Long time holder of SSPX as well as a suffering Wavoid of 6+ years. Loathe to post however as I'm technically impoverished.
Good luck to us all.
Soter
Yaya...re SHM...No problem...The company is a few miles from where I live which makes it very easy for me to attemd the annual SHM. This year...there were 4-5 shareholders at the meeting...and guess what...~80% were WAVOIDS! Lets figure out how many Wavoids actually own SSPX shares...it would be interesting to say the least.
Sincerely,
Jas
Thanks JAS FOR (CONTINUING)to attend the SHM and keep and eye on what may turn out to be very sweeet!

Yes, sir, Jas. They're making money!
MMs trying to hold her down.
I'm with you ... not taking a few morsals when there's a banguet being prepared. LOL
25K on the bid and now sellers @ 1.30?
SAM
IAMSAM...re share price...Notice the bid of ~31,000 shares at 1.27...Obviously...there is interest in this stock...one simply needs to have a longer term perspective...unless one simply wants to flip for the 10-20 % returns Seriously...not only is this company close to breakeven...or slighly in the black...but management is very careful about keeping their burn rate as low as possible. That was one of the things I took away from last years SHM that impressed me enough to increase my stake.
Sincerely,
Jas
Jas, I definitely agree SSPX is a longer term hold at this juncture.
A fine post. Your insights are much appreciated.
Great Qs:
1) Who was buying the shares after the recent PP knowing full well that a great number of shares would make their way onto the market....Why the rush?
SSPX still has a relatively small float. Yes, there will be some wild price swings until ALL the overhead is gone. Like today, for example. I see $2+ coming in the near term. In the long run, I'm still thinking of the possible buy out. And that figure will far exceed 1.27, IMO!
SSPX is in a great position to land additional US gov contracts. USA co. for USA security.

"As a supplier to government and defense organizations for over three decades, SSP-Litronic has its roots in developing products for the most stringent security requirements," says Marvin Winkler, CEO and co-chairman of SSP-Litronic. "In a time when cyber crime is more rampant than ever, the enterprise and SMB markets will be able to leverage our technology to protect their digital assets."
The fact that SSPX is moving along with the paradigm shift in security is also a major plus, IMO.

SSP Adds Support and Personal Privacy Control to Trusted Platform Module
NetSign® Privacy Agent Compatible with TPM
IRVINE, Calif., December 9, 2003 - SSP Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSPX), a leading provider of identity management and privacy control software solutions for the commercial and government markets, today announced it will incorporate support for TPM technology into its NetSign® Privacy Agent product line. TPM or Trusted Platform Module is a standardized chip-based system located on the PC motherboard and is specifically designed to provide a secure storage and processing area on a computer system that cannot be attacked through software. Companies deploying TPM based systems include Intel, Hewlett Packard, IBM, National Semiconductor, Atmel, and Infineon Technologies.
Hey, these guys are even making money! LOL

IAMSAM...re Share price...I think we all need to be patient over the next 6 months or so. Most of the people on the Yahoo thread seem to think that the current weakness relates to the ongoing sales by WAVX. They seem to be forgetting about the newly registered shares from the recent PP. If my math is anywhere close to being correct...the conversion was close to 70 cents/share. As soon as the PP was announced...the shares went from the 1.60-80s down to the 1.10s.....soon thereafter...the shares went over 2 on STRONG volume. The current weakness is in part due to continued sales by WAVX...but also has to be related to the newly registered shares.
The above raises a few interesting questions:
1) Who was buying the shares after the recent PP knowing full well that a great number of shares would make their way onto the market....Why the rush?
2) How many shares of the recent SEC form filed by Wave on 1/20 have they sold?? If they have sold all of those shares...it will leave Wave with close to 2.5 million SSPX shares.
3) How long will this distribution phase last if we continue to trade 400-500K shares/day? After this redistribution phase...from the PP to the rest of the investment community. Obviously...if the PP participants want to hang on to their shares...then this point becomes insignificant.
4) I think that if you're patient...you will be able to accumulate at reasonable prices.
What are your thoughts?
Sincerely,
Jas
Watch those sneaky rascals...
MMs taking out stops and building inventory for the inevitable rise.
