TARP Paid. That didn't hurt much.
FITB to dilute to pay Tarp back !!!!
My favorite bank. Are we ready to start the year end rally ?
I'm starting to feel like FITB is my personal money maker.

Jim Cramer is a silly boy with a silly tv show. When he promotes a stock, that is red flag because the company is paying him to sell thier stock and you can bet that there is another company in the same business as the one that he is promoting that is a better stock play. As in FTIB ! :)
FITB doesn't need Jim Cramer's comments. The investors of FITB are perfectly happy with their gains without Cramer's pumps and bashes.
Everyone who has stuck with FITB has a port that is up. Cramer's port is DOWN. LOL

There was no profit from fitb or lvs for Cramer, so he steered them toward other companies {paying customers = companies who donate stock for mention on Jim Cramer's show). jmo of course.
GM JB, Ibox is 1st class... like the investment. Comment on your sigi, it that BioDiesel Algea Farm in your Sigi somewhere in Ohio? That's where I was born... my family has a land locked parcel with a lake on it dedicated as a family memorial park... you have to get permission from my cousin to cross his land to get there or navigate the waterways... there's a story behind that one for sure :)
Comments on Ibox welcome. It's your investment too.

Sure hope so IH-I'm loaded.
If my memory serves me correctly, Jim Cramer "The Expert" steered a caller away from FITB when it was in the mid 3s and away from LVS when it was around 5, same show. Both have nearly tripled or more since. Guess that would mean that Cramer was an April Fool.
For those who liked my Fitb call @ 1.00 FSNM could be very similar

Don't know. Now that is has broke 10.00, I think it might start following the ups and downs of the market till the divy is declared. Then I would expect another nice climb. But with the way the market has been climbing, I don't rule out 12.00/shr in the near future. I'll be stopping by there alter this week. I'll through out a hook and see what I get.
Will it hit $12.00 anytime soon? I bought back in at $9.97 but only a couple of K.
FITB breaks 10.00 mark !!!! This has to be my money maker of the year.
That sounds interesting and seems like it worked well for you.
kool- one of my pastimes is to hunt monster catfish--along with monster stocks
Not sure how much info I should post on that.
During the last recession I put my family and friends to work with a rehab business.
After a Fed law suite against NCC over a mortgage buyout I decided to rid myself of all loans.
I started a Cash4Homes program and in 1992 declared myself totally debt free.
I have never owed anyone since.
So you see, I've worked with a number of the local banks here.
Used Property? What specifically?
I thought about HCBK seems well run and I have owned it on and off.
I should be updating the Ibox this weekend with company info that hasn't been presented here on Ihub.
I'll express this as my opinion since I don't think it's official yet,; I think we'll be seeing some divies here real soon. Then watch the pps !
It may pull back again because that's what stocks do. But it has a long way to go.
Oh I have some great Cat pictures
I founded a local family operated company that buys and sells used property. FITB now handles 80% of the financing.
There are 2 other local banks here that are popular. (CRBC) Citizens and Chase(JPM). You don't want to go into Chase and talk about your problems (LOL) and CRBC, a friendly and conservative bank, is in serious trouble due to it's high % of loans to auto workers.
JB more importantly to me they had a quarterly 50M net income last quarter, the rest is just doing customer service the proper way.
Funny how we expect good customer service from every sector but when a bank has it, it is so unusual that it stands out like a sore thumb. lol Hell if a realestate broker or car dealer treated us like most banks they would go BK in a hurry. lol
my original target was 9.00 -I made good anyway but I still like fitb
This area has some serious financial problems that aren't going away anytime soon. FITB is cleaning up with their smiles and free checking. They are bending over backwards with people to come up with alternative financing and keep people in their homes.
I just bought some of this the other day mostly just based on technicals and charting, but the news seems good today.
JB: Very unusual for bankers to make anyone feel at home, so if they are doing that for you it is pretty unusual, but good none the less. jmho
As you seem to have already discovered, FITB has decided that it would be a lot better to open new branches rather than buy a failing bank and get all the baggage and headaches that come with it.
There many good things coming to FITB and as the expasion gets under way, I'll be making a lot more post here.
I've worked with FITB for over 10 years and am heavily invested here. Of the banks I've worked with this one has seemed to make all the right decisions. The employees are always a pleasure to talk too.
I also have accts with banks like Chase/JPM that are doing well, but they just don't have that touch of making you feel at home like the people at FITB do.
JB it sure looks like the whole financial sector is in confusion, but the sector that lead us in imo should lead us out this time, since expectations are in the toilet or were anyway. jmho
Many of the employees bought shares in FITB when the share price was low and are now moving up in the company.
This area is teaming with troubled banks and solid banks like FITB are moving to grab their costomers up.
FITB is a good long investment. I bought under 2.00 and have no plans of selling in the near future.
