I watched a few clips and read many articles. Basically EVERY question she was asked was evaded and deflected, all turned into a lying Trump attack. She can not answer a question in context if her life depended on it. She will truly wreck everything because she has absolutely zero leadership qualities. Everyone knew this during the 2020 primaries, yet those who hate Trump or vote strictly party, or one issue voters like the abortion lovers are willing to destroy the country. The interview did not instill anything with the independent voters, so hopefully many of those folks saw the dysfunction and fear of accepting responsibility for her last almost 4 years of doing nothing but being a lackey.

If any of the Democrats on the other boards asked her what GSE stood for, she'd find a hate filled way to attack Trump. She has absolutely no idea on our situation and won't do squat unless her handlers tell her to.

In the news today Don Trump Jr is making a list of all those who will be banned from his dads new administration and you can bet Calabria and Mnuchin are on it. They yammered on and on for a few years about BK'ing the GSE's when Obama was in charge. They knew way back then that it's not possible because not only the US market, but world markets would go haywire - catastrophe. Many countries own mortgage debt from the GSE's.

They have the options to release as they found them, except with guardrails to prevent the crooked banks from manipulating another fraud, or release as Utilities, or buy out and make a complete government owned entity. Personally, I don't know why they do not release Fannie as she was and posiibly experiment with Freddie by restructuring as a utility. Both would still need government backing, no doubt because the government can not
be trusted or seem to control the banking industry from trying to rob people or defrauding in some way. They don't want to do the hard work because the banks are too strong and own most of the politicians....and they worried about the GSE's being over run by lobbiests, used that as an excuse for this CONservatorship lol hahahaha.

2025Q1 earnings should have FNMA right at 100B in retained earnings. This will be the number too big to ignore and I think that's when release talks get started with solid momentum with Trump, Senate, House. Maybe it will happen leading up to the 100B number...hopefully so.

The column header is a little misleading, but what that +87% means in the context of that data page is that Pershing Square's holdings as of the date shown (or change as of the date showing) is up to 87% of the shares held by those top institutional investors shown on that page. You can see that column, with slight rounding errors, adds up to 99 or 1oo% for any stock you look up - as long as the list is not too long to show all the top institutional holders.
