CENTER FOR APPLIED TECHNOLOGIES
ELAST's laboratory is located at the Center for Applied Technologies in San Diego, California. The Center for Applied Technologies (CACT) is a government-funded laboratory, which is designed to accelerate the path of biotech products from R&D to manufacturing. CACT offers technological time-sharing, whereby certain equipment, otherwise cost prohibitive for development-stage companies, is available. CACT is a member of the National Coalition of Advanced Technology Centers and has served since 1992 as a regional affiliate of the National Institute for Standards and Technology Manufacturing Extension Centers. Since 1997, it has been a Regional Affiliate of NASA's Far West Regional Technology Transfer Center.
ELAST's engineers are utilizing CACT's laboratories and manufacturing extension resources to facilitate the completion of the ELAST DeviceTM and the Bio-Potential Instrument in addition to exploring additional applications. ELAST is confident that CACT's wide-ranging resources, such as immediate laser prototyping and varied technical assistance, as well as its access to the latest technologies will accelerate final development of the ELAST DeviceTM.

ELAST Technologies Secures Beta Site Installations of Bio-Potential Instrument
MONDAY, APRIL 02, 2001 4:41 PM
LAS VEGAS, Apr 2, 2001 (BUSINESS:ELTI) www.elast.com announced today that the Company has arranged several beta site installations of its Bio-Potential Instrument in prominent chiropractic offices. These installations will constitute the first significant "real life" use of ELAST's Bio-Potential Instrument and are planned to coincide with delivery of the initial units this Spring.
The Bio-Potential Instrument is ELAST Technologies' chiropractic outcome-measuring instrument and is designed to objectively measure vertebral subluxations and the normalizing effect of chiropractic spinal adjustments.
"The installation of the Bio-Potential Instrument in the offices of practicing chiropractors is very exciting for ELAST," says Thomas F. Krucker, President and CEO of ELAST Technologies, Inc. "Although our demonstrations generated great interest and enthusiasm in the chiropractic community these planned installations represent the first formal application of our technologies' measurement capabilities to actual treatment." According to Mr. Krucker the beta sites were selected for their interest in the product's overall success as well as their demonstrated commitment to their patients.
ELAST Technologies also continues its work to perfect its allergy testing device, the Electronic Allergo Sensitivity Test or the ELAST Device(TM). The ELAST Device(TM) is a patented, non-invasive diagnostic tool that is being designed to accurately diagnose allergies, as well as food and chemical sensitivities, immediately without any of the pain or expense associated with currently employed allergy testing methods.

ELAST Technologies, Inc., is positioning itself to become a leader in developing and perfecting advanced non-invasive medical diagnostic instruments. Founded in 1995 ELAST's stock trades under the symbol ELTI on the OTC - Bulletin Board.
ELAST is engaged in the development of two separate diagnostic tools: its allergy testing device and its chiropractic outcome-measuring instrument. These instruments stem from the Company's identification of commercial applications for worldwide patents secured by Robert D. Milne, M.D. A primary application is the innovative Electronic Allergo Sensitivity Test or the ELAST Device™. The ELAST Device™ is a non-invasive medical tool designed to accurately diagnose allergies, as well as food and chemical sensitivities. ELAST Technologies holds the patents, trademarks and legal rights to manufacture and sell and lease its electronic allergy-testing device and is making great strides in refining the prototype.
The significance of such a perfected diagnostic tool cannot be overstated. Simply the ELAST Device™ will revolutionize the way people are tested for allergies and monitored for reactions to substances and medications. The ELAST Device™ will protect patients from dangerous adverse reactions that can result from taking prescription medications.
A second and more readily available commercial application of ELAST's technologies is ELAST's Bio-Potential Instrument. While working towards the perfection of ELAST's allergy testing device ELAST's engineers realized a chiropractic application of its technology. Specifically, ELAST's engineers discovered that the measurement of the body's electrical responses could be successfully applied to measuring chiropractic outcome and therefore prove valuable to the chiropractic profession. ELAST's discovery has evolved into the Bio-Potential Instrument.
The Bio-Potential Instrument can provide doctors of chiropractic with the means to measure the damage of vertebral subluxations, small misalignments of the vertebrae, which interfere with the normal nerve flow, as well as the normalizing effect of chiropractic adjustments. In its present stage of development the instrument is capable of providing such assessments, and with functional input from a chiropractic perspective it is being tailored into an objective outcome-measuring instrument for use by the chiropractic profession.
