The FDA makes the final decision. This vote is intended to give them guidance but they are free to completely ignore it if they choose (at least that’s my understanding). I don’t like the degree to which the fda committee members opposed. Not sure I get warm and fuzzies from this.

Hello all. I am new to the board and actually bought DRRX years ago for its Posimir product. I use a lot of Exparel and was interested in an alternative. Exparel flat out works, but is spendy. $300 for 20mls. Enough to do one big case or 2 small ones. Basically, I use it 3 to 4 days a week. I am a little concerned with the drop when potentially good news is coming soon.

Maybe it is not considered a big enough market.

I give it a 50/50 chance with just a touch to the negative only because I am the internal pessimist till I see the positive occur. Get my drift.
I have been burned on a number of my stocks trying to get FDA approval because of politics from larger companies not wanting the FDA to approve that of a smaller company. We shall see if the FDA will slap the face of one of their past members.

I think the folks at DURECT have done everything they could do. The difficulty will be that the FDA is as corrupt as our slobs in Washington. This means if the industry makes the move with the FDA Durect will fail again. They would have to step on one of their previous employees and that would be hard for FDA to do. I give it a 60/40 chance they will approve.

Intraday dip in price to return to almost where it began.

Will be interesting to see if they try to push it down before news.
I expect they will try to push it down at some point, which is normal, but like you posted "how much rocket fuel does this baby have left?". And we are now at that time of year where price is going down due to tax end of year.

very heavy on the up coming share price. I for one expect a favorable decision but the FDA is as bad as our current politicians and CAN BE INFLUENCED. We shall see. Let's all hope for the best.
