Steve Wozniak’s K-12 Education Program Woz ED Announces Exclusive Strategic Partnership with Draganfly [UPDATED]
Press Release | 03/02/2021
Los Angeles, CA., March 02, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Draganfly Inc. (OTCQB: DFLYF) (CSE: DFLY) (FSE: 3U8) (“Draganfly” or the “Company”), award-winning, industry-leading drone solutions, and systems developer, today announced an exclusive strategic partnership with Woz ED, Steve Wozniak’s K-12 Education program.
Partnership scope includes
Draganfly to be the exclusive supplier of drones to Woz ED’s drone program across its national K-12 curriculum with the expected deployment of approximately 3000 drones in 2021,
Drone design and technical product advisory by Steve Wozniak’s team for proprietary Woz ED drones and drone related products,
Collaboration and partnership in a fully funded international innovation center.
The partnership will bring additional product development to Draganfly’s current and future pipeline in addition to re-imagining the future of innovation for drone technologies.
Inspired by Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL), Woz ED provides a personalized approach to nurturing an engineering mindset through hands-on projects.
Woz ED is a model for incorporating the engineering process in the K-12 classroom and accelerating the path to employment for students who choose drones as a career. Students start with an introduction to aviation in Kindergarten and transition to physics of flight and flight skills in middle school. Students may choose elective courses in the Junior and Senior year to enroll in a drone course where students learn the engineering behind a drone, as well as earn their certification. The certification will make the students employable as they leave high school.
The Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International projected more than 100,000 new jobs in unmanned aircraft by 2025.
Draganfly will be the exclusive provider of drones as part of the Woz ED qualified for flight curriculum under their STEM programs. Students will gain hands-on experience piloting, and spotting for drone missions, design, and building for drone systems. Draganfly will also help develop further curriculum, career path development and field training for Woz ED students.
“Having an industry leader like Draganfly as a partner will give our kids the opportunity to learn from the best with real life experience and expertise,” said Steve Wozniak, Co- founder of Apple Inc.
“The military, energy, entertainment, real estate, agriculture, delivery, emergency response and construction sectors have embraced the power and the potential of drone technology, and NASA just landed Ingenuity on Mars! The industry-leading expertise Draganfly brings to this partnership amplifies our offerings in both curriculum and hardware as we expose young people to these booming career opportunities,” said Karen Young, CEO of Woz ED
“It has been said that Steve Wozniak designed Apple’s first products, the Apple I and II because they didn’t exist and he wanted to use them,” said Cameron Chell, CEO of Draganfly. “We are incredibly honored to be working with Steve and the team at Woz ED because of their bold, disruptive innovation and way of approaching challenges with technology.”

What am I missing here; as Skyflyer2 stated balance sheet looks good, stock has gone up just short of 500% since I bought in mid October. The volume, RSI and money flow all look good. Yet there is no action on this board, is it possible this is flying under the radar or everyone just sitting holding there breathes waiting for this to move to big markets?
They have an excellent balance sheet with a lot of great news coming best drone company out there
Hi, new on the board, Got lucky here, read an article middle of Dec. that dragon was going to apply to go on the main exchange, and bought in before it hit .50. I think most are waiting for it to hit the main exchange; DOW or NAS before getting the word out. I mentioned it on NNRX’s board back then with no responses. Think it will take a large jump it they do get on main listing, got my hopes up. Have just been sitting back watching, think I’ll start talking this up on other board now.

Alabama State University Sets the Stage for Safe Return to Athletics
Montgomery AB, Jan. 04, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Draganfly Inc. (OTCQB: DFLYF) (CSE: DFLY) (FSE: 3U8) (“Draganfly” or the “Company”), an award-winning, industry-leading manufacturer and systems developer is pleased to announce that Alabama State University (ASU) opened its 2021 basketball season with Draganfly safety protocols in place.
The Draganfly Vital Intelligence system which can enable existing camera systems or cameras on kiosks, drones, and smart phones to measure vital signs as well as its Varigard 24hr pathogen sequestration and kill sanitizing spray applied via patented drone technology has successfully helped enable the 2021 College Basketball season to open amid the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The ASU Hornet’s game against Grambling State University on January 2 marked the official return-to-play for the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). ASU President, Dr. Quinton T. Ross, Jr., said before the players took to the court, Draganfly drones were used to spray the University’s basketball arena with the Varigard sanitizer.
“There is no price that can be put on the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, alumni and community,” said Alabama State University President, Dr. Quinton T. Ross, Jr. “ASU was one of the first Universities in the country to recognize the benefit of partnering with Draganfly, and we have been able to take full advantage of the cutting-edge technology and services that the company offers to keep our campus as safe as possible during this pandemic. Technology such as Draganfly’s Vital Intelligence and Varigard Sanitizer is a worthy investment and is a vital part of our overall campus safety protocols.”
Ross said the University will continue to partner with Draganfly throughout the season and beyond.
Draganfly is part of the National Safely Opening Schools (SOS) initiative, an end-to-end protocol composed of leading companies that provide health screening, testing, medical personnel, equipment, sanitization and data analysis to help ensure the safe operation of facilities.
“This is the type of technology and leadership that will get our schools and their programs operational again,” said Derek Anderson, NBA, NCAA champion and Draganfly board advisor. “The SOS initiative with Draganfly is key to ensuring we have sustainable health security for all facilities for years to come.”

Draganfly (OTCQB:DFLYF) announces that the US Department of Agriculture has selected the use of its Draganfly Commander drones to do phenotyping and other related data collection and analysis.
The company sees its security and North American manufacturing as the new benchmark in the industry over Chinese drone manufacturers and chip makers that have restricted access to key enabling US technologies.
"The growing use of UAVs within the US Department of Agriculture for diverse applications are fueling the need for our drones," says Cameron Chell, CEO of Draganfly.
The North America UAV market recorded a valuation of $1.7B in 2017, and is likely to exceed $7B by 2024, according to Global Market Insights.
