This board is thought to be mostly for backround information concerning the currency market (fundamentals). All posts are welcome that shed light on currency moves. E.g. political topics or posts about stocks (big mergers, aquisitions etc.) are welcome, if they directly relate to the exchange rate movement. Another aim of this board is to develop a feeling for longer term currency trends, helping everybody to stir their capital around a global world and avoiding pitfalls of investing in countries with weekening currencies. Trading currencies has certain advantages and disadvantages over trading stocks, options, futures or commodities. Protecting your capital is more important than becoming profitable!!! Advantages: 1. Highly liquid market open 24hour/5days a week. 2. Trends move slow and last long. Disadvantages: 1. Highly leveraged trading can be costly if position moves against you. (So always use stops) 2. Even highly liquid markets can overshoot and deny fundamentals for some time. Other currency boards on IHub: 1. CURRENCY CENTRAL http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=3100 Board mostly for posting entry and exit positions on trades. 2. Mostly Currency (US$) http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=2512 The purpose of this board is mainly the accumulation of charts posted in the iBox. Post there only in case you have a great chart to share. 3. Forex- currency trading http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=2003 Seems pretty dead.
