Weak PPS response to analysts targets. The other day a target of 8 bucks was given and now a 6 bucks target. Great trading opportunities at between 3.71 and 2.82 recently. Will they miss earnings estimates?
Thanks! If people like to read it, then I like to write it. My intuition is that Oppenheimer's initiating coverage with an "outperform" recommendation ought to reassure a lot of investors.
Yet another fantastic blog entry. You really elucidate these arcane legal actions and the bigger picture. Keep it up, I find it fascinating as a non-attorney.

The consensus on the other board seems to be that this is the formal registration of the shares previously issued, which makes them eligible for sale, but does not necessarily evince an intent to sell (and if Li were bailing out we would indeed be alarmed!!!)
Can someone explain the 'private sale'. Is this an especially negative sale that the biggest holders want to dump their holdings in CDXC?

There is a ALS website, with forum discussions, ALS News Today, but not sure if they would welcome the mention of the study, and the use of TruNiagen. I will try to register there and see.
Probably similar sites for ALZ community as well.
Yes, I agree, for ALS for all we know any NAD precursor could make a positive difference, and the advantages of NR versus NAM may not be relevant, or may not apply at all. I wish that someone in the ALS community were plugged into the CDXC community, so we could monitor anecdotal evidence.
At least there appears to be something available NOW for ALS sufferers, individuals who otherwise have NO hope whatsoever. More study, certainly, and absolute proof required, surely, but if you have the disease, it is worth the try. No harm, no foul.
Or Nicotinamide should be megadosed. The study doesn't show that direct oral supplementation of NAM would be equivalent (but presumably it would) or that oral NR would do as well or better (although presumably it would). We could use some more research showing how the limits of NAM oral supplementation don't apply to NR oral supplementation.
ALS Remedy. Wow, Nature publication should be enough ammunition to demonstrate that TruNiagen should be mega-dosed by anyone suffering ALS to prolong their lives

After 2 years I'm starting to see some tangible changes.
Due to some conditions the last decade I used to nap on and off during the day, some involuntary. For the last two months I have no desire to nap and even when I want to my energy level won't allow it, mind all awhirl. My libido appears to be through the roof the last several weeks as well, hope that holds up.

Scientific Reports: increases NAD 51% in two weeks with sustained use of 300 mg.
Consumption of 100, 300 and 1000?mg NR dose-dependently and significantly increased whole blood NAD+ (i.e., 22%, 51% and 142%) and other NAD+ metabolites within 2 weeks.
Largest clinical trial yet with 140 healthy overweight adults.

Whole Foods, crack in the door in Canada. If in these 6 stores product movement proves out, then it launches in USA in 2020. Amazon movement must have justified this trial in Canadian stores. If they move 12 3/packs per week, that's approx. $98,000 per outlet. Assuming 624 yearly purchases, with the same buyers purchasing quarterly, or 624/4=156 unique Tru-Niagen consumers per Whole Foods outlet. About 500 stores in North America, that's $49M/year volume, at 35% Gross margin to CDXC (??), would drop $17M, figure net $10M Net Profit from this one customer. Could be very very interesting in 2H2020 in the USA, if the volumes prove out in Canada. Would open the door to Target, Costco, and some other higher end Grocery outlets as well. I hope they have a plan to juice the sales in Canada. If they can't get it going there, heads should roll in California. Will be interesting to see how they merchandise, ie. in a monthly, or 3-pack, or both. Anyone live in Canada??
I got a promo from them this morning and asked about a way to measure NAD. This is the entire response.

Hello,
Thank you for your email and interest in TRU NIAGEN®. While some scientists have developed methods to measure NAD+ levels for research, they have not yet translated these measurements from the laboratory bench to the clinic. At some point in the future, we expect the analytical method to be standardized so that NAD+ analysis can be introduced into clinical laboratory use. More work will be needed to bring this exciting technology to the bedside where it is informative for patients and their healthcare providers.
One thing to keep in mind is that every tissue has its own machinery to make and to break down NAD+. Blood is a convenient material for testing a person’s response to taking TRU NIAGEN®, but it is not necessarily the most relevant tissue for assessing the health benefits of supplementing with NR. We and others are working on less invasive ways to assess NAD+ status in tissues beyond the blood.
We know that TRU NIAGEN is increasing NAD+ safely and effectively in people as this has been demonstrated in several published clinical trials.
Clinical trials:

Mornings here as well, I do have sleep issues
but those have been ongoing since before I started taking Niagen 2 years ago.
I too would like a baseline but I've been reluctant to tell my Dr.s about taking
Niagen as they are all so anti-supplement in general. I'm working up to it tho'.
I also take mine first thing in the morning and have no problem sleeping at night. I’ve been taking for about 6-7 months and have experienced a general well being improvement, my memory issues seem to have stabilized but no improvement in joint pain yet.
I talked with and have written the company several times to ask if there is a blood test that actually measures NAD. I wanted a baseline so I could actually see if an increase was indeed measurable. I never received an answer that made sense, only that I should ask my doctor about a blood test. I suggested that in order for them to be able to claim an increase in NAD, they had to be using some sort of measurement to validate their claim. The girl said she would ask their board and get back to me. She did get back to me but only to say their claim was based on intricate scientific data and I’d have to see if my doctor knew of a blood test that measured the levels of NAD.
Yes, Hong Kong, there are others as well.
Thanks. Who. is Pioneer Step (Chinese investors?)?
Pioneer Step Holdings Ltd upped their stake to 9 1/2%
making them the largest stake holder. The 13D of the Schedule 13D/A indicates they're likely to take on an activist role
ie: actively pursue a change in business strategy. I'm sure they too are frustrated with all this litigious stuff, a hostile takeover is also possible
so we may see heads role or an attempt to change the board anyway.
Today's SEC filing: Can someone please explain what it is?? Hard to figure out what it is saying. TIA

Thanks KarinCA I practiced that same regiment with my Niagen. Something makes me wonder about my coffee intake (one powerful cup in the morning only) and if Niagen somehow extended its effects on my system? Also no alcohol was taken for 90 days during the Niagen use as I know alcohol can affect sleep.
I may retry in a few weeks a reduced dose of 150 milligrams.

I take my Niagen first thing in the morning upon waking and before I eat. That should avoid any sleep issues you may have.
I believe that there is evidence that low-NAD may increase the risk of contracting cancer, but if you already have cancer NAD replenishment won't make it go away and could hurt. This research may lead to cancer therapies, but I do not think it relevant for cancer-free individuals.

Hi Mike
Thanks for your reply. I had invested a lot of money in a 3 month supply for my family. When contacting Chromadex I see I was case number 6200 approx. and upon talking with the operator after a brief place on hold she simply mentioned to stop the niagen for a few days and see if that helps. I would of thought she would of recommended to reduce dose as well but that was it. This was after 60 days of usage. I was surprised she didnt recommend to reduce dosage for a week as well but my sleep was really out of control so I had to stop all together. That being said my wife and son did not experience any sleep issues.
Do you take Niagen or do you work for Niagen?
Thanks

Latest studies have claimed that NAD may be an aid to the development of cancerous tumors, Any comment?
