Canalaska been very active lately
Uranium industry will be the hottest sector again soon
Everything has to bounce soon or later
Yes looks like uranium price is about to bounce hard from bottom line
The key to the industry's revival, however, still largely lies in Japan's hands, so investors should keep an eye on updates from the nation. With Japan's nuclear regulator recently giving Tokyo Electric Power, or TEPCO, the go-ahead to restart two reactors at the world's largest nuclear power plant, Kashiwazaki-Kariwa, there's hope for uranium manufacturers.
India intends to generate 25% of its electricity from nuclear power by 2025, has six reactors under construction and several in the pipeline.
China has 20 nuclear reactors under construction.
Saudi Arabia is planning to construct 16 nuclear power reactors over the next two decades.
Japan intends to generate one-fifth of its electricity requirements through nuclear energy by 2030, which may require 25 to 30 running reactors.
Tumbling uranium prices have proved to be the biggest roadblock for uranium producers in the last couple of years. The culprit: rising uranium supply and dwindling demand.
Uranium stocks may not have had a great 2017, but industry sentiments turned increasingly bullish as the year drew to a close. With the world's largest uranium miners striving to revive the beleaguered industry, they may have already averted a price meltdown by providing uranium prices a floor last year.
Investors in uranium stocks can look forward to better days ahead
The uranium industry has been struggling since a 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan disabled three reactors at the Fukushima nuclear plant, causing their cores to melt down, forcing Japan to shut down 50 nuclear reactors that remained intact.
Cameco Corp. [CCO-TSX; CCJ-NYSE] said Friday February 9 that it hopes patient investors will be rewarded after the Canadian uranium mining giant posted what analysts described as solid fourth quarter results.
Still low average daily volume for now
And we have a big board company around so should be ok
Drilling started already so we will get some news soon or later
Been holding well between 0.30-0.40 area
Yes agree with you once go thru 0.50 momentum will pick up
$CVVUF could have a similar run than $MGXMF
Been holding the 30s for some time now
Agree with you should head up to 1.00 or more easy imo
This uranium stock should be on everyone's watchlist !
$CVVUF uranium stock to WATCH , great upside potential ...

DeBeers announcement did not help SP... still in a downtrend.
The article seems to be leaning towards the possibility of a gold discovery.Speaks of gold values and quartz stringers.Im long untill thy find something. Also the best uranium area in the world.
Well, DeBeers was not impressed enough to act (from company release 12/123/16: CanAlaska has received notice from De Beers for the termination of the West Athabasca project option."
There is a MAY 16th article that mentions(by the president) silver /gold values being found and that they will drill deeper to see if these values increase. The article also speaks of quartz stringers being found and this is another sign of possible presence of a gold discovery.I have been following Canalaska for years and they have impressive amount of property/land mineral rights and with relationships like Cameco, the funding will be there if and when a major discovery happens.Diamonds are another possibility but I believe a GOLD discovery is very possible and Im accumulating shares @ these levels. Also the Athabasca basin has the largest and highest grade uranium in the world!IMO CANALASKA URANIUM LTD. is a good long term investment worthy of holding a healthy position before any huge news arrives!
Took starter position of 2000 shares and will accumulate shares on any good dips in the share price.I like the Cameco connection and the Athabasca region for the uranium the world will need! Also there was a report of quarts stringers and (IF) there any sign of GOLD in those stringers this stock could go to dollars quick!Diamonds and GOLD are possible in the Athabasca!Im hoping to build up to 10,000 shares for my portfolio!
Still consolidating...
Looking strong in consolidation...

CanAlaska Partners to Resume Drilling at West McArthur and Patterson
VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / July 26, 2016 / CanAlaska Uranium Ltd. (TSXV: CVV) (OTCQB: CVVUF) (FSE: DH7N), ("CanAlaska" or the "Company") is pleased to report that Cameco's exploration team will resume drilling shortly at CanAlaska's West McArthur project along trend from Cameco's high-grade Fox Lake uranium discovery. Makena Resources will also be drilling at the Company's West Patterson property to followup the first drill hole that encountered radioactivity along the entire length of rock tested.
Cameco to Resume Drilling Along Trend of High-Grade Fox Lake Discovery
Cameco's uranium exploration team has now established access to the C10 conductor targets south of drill hole WMA035, which was drilled in April of this year. This planned drilling, announced on May 31, has been delayed because of ground conditions which hampered summer access. Drilling is scheduled to commence in late July or early August.

CanAlaska and Cameco are exploring the West McArthur Uranium project under a $12.5 million Agreement. The project covers 35,830 hectares (88,536 acres) commencing 6 kilometres (4 miles) northwest of Cameco's majority owned McArthur River uranium mine. Importantly, West McArthur is immediately adjacent to Cameco's recently disclosed Fox Lake uranium discovery with reported inferred resources of approximately 68.1 million pounds based on 387,000 tonnes at 7.99% U3O8. The Fox Lake discovery is within the Read Lake project operated by Cameco (Cameco 78.2%, Areva 21.8%). For more information about the West McArthur project visit http://www.canalaska.com/s/West_McArthur.asp?ReportID=560713.
Makena to Resume Drilling on Large Gravity Target on West Patterson Property
Makena Resources Inc. has scheduled the next phase of drilling at the West Patterson prospect in the Athabasca basin of Saskatchewan for early August. Makena anticipates the drill program to consist of at least three to five holes. A previous drill hole intersected a continuous section of anomalous radiometric response over the entire 113 metres of basement intersection. Shearing and brecciation occurs all along the 113 metres of granitic basement core, associated with clay alteration and alternating bleached and hematized sections down to the end-of-hole.
Patterson Lake Project Radiometric Log
To view an enhanced version of Patterson Lake Project Radiometric Log, please visit: https://www.accesswire.com/uploads/CanALASKA2.jpg.
CanAlaska's West Patterson Lake property is located in the southwestern Athabasca Basin, approximately 10 kilometres northwest of NexGen Energy's Rook I project and Fission Uranium's Triple R deposit. For further information see http://www.canalaska.com/s/News.asp?ReportID=731650.
CanAlaska president, Peter Dasler states, "Cameco's drill program is aimed to test uranium mineralized alteration zones, which were intersected in previous drilling. This second round exploration has an excellent chance of intersecting further uranium mineralization closer to the centre of the mineral system in this highly prospective area. Makena's previous drilling has shown that there is anomalous uranium mineralization in the target area. We expect this drilling will vector towards a larger uranium target in the centre of a prominent gravity anomaly."

$CVVUF must be the best kept secret in the whole damn market!
$CVVUF +700% last 6mos., yet message boards & tweets about them is almost non-existent! Doesn't make any sense to me. Anyways, I wish had found this much earlier I did take up a starter position today @ $.70 area. Even though it is up 700% this year, it has room to easily run way higher after this pullback. As a matter of fact it could become a 10 bagger again from this entry level at $.70 and soon if these early sample results show even more promise, followed by great drilling results. I may have missed the best opportunity to get the cheapest shares, but I'm sure not going to miss the 2nd opportunity that at the very least, offers a 50% return by getting back to its previous level a month ago. And I haven't even spoke about their huge uranium interest that is world class! Like I said, this has to be the best kept secret, as far as ihub message boards. Cheers!

De Beers Completes KIM Sampling at West Athabasca
http://www.canalaska.com/s/News.asp?ReportID=753000
New high-resolution airborne magnetic survey planned to define targets in preparation for drilling
Vancouver, British Columbia, June 22, 2016 -- CanAlaska Uranium Ltd. "the Company" (TSX-V: CVV; OTCQB: CVVUF; Frankfurt: DH7N) is pleased to report that De Beers' exploration team has collected over 100 samples for kimberlite indicator mineral (KIM) processing from the West Athabasca project. The samples of glacial gravels were collected from eskers within the target area.
These samples will now be processed in De Beers laboratories to establish further evidence for kimberlite intrusives associated with the magnetic anomalies staked by CanAlaska. These striking anomalies were identified from processing data from the Saskatchewan Government Geological Survey/Geological Survey of Canada airborne magnetics program carried out in 2010.
De Beers geologist collecting samples from Esker at West Athabasca
In the next few weeks, the second phase of exploration will commence for detailed magnetic mapping of staked targets, as well as any further significant features. The new high resolution airborne magnetic survey carried out by a specialized aircraft from New Zealand will define the targets in preparation for drilling.
President Peter Dasler commented, "I am very pleased with the significant attention that De Beers is giving our project. The initial reconnaissance sampling has been completed, and known targets visited. The rapid deployment of this specialized aircraft and the attention to detail with this program is very comforting. I look forward to the results of the programs, and the next steps in the exploration process."
CanAlaska and De Beers are exploring the West Athabasca project for diamonds under a staged $20.4 million Option-Participation Agreement. The project area covers 75 kimberlite-style targets staked by CanAlaska in the northwestern Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan. De Beers may earn an interest in the project through a series of escalating exploration programs.
