There is a MAY 16th article that mentions(by the president) silver /gold values being found and that they will drill deeper to see if these values increase.The article also speaks of quartz stringers being found and this is another sign of possible presence of a gold discovery.I have been following Canalaska for years and they have impressive amount of property/land mineral rights and with relationships like Cameco,the funding will be there if and when a major discovery happens.Diamonds are another possibility but I believe a GOLD discovery is very possible and Im accumulating shares @ these levels.Also the Athabasca basin has the largest and highest grade uranium in the world!IMO CANALASKA URANIUM LTD. is a good long term investment worthy of holding a healthy position before any huge news arrives!

De Beers to Drill CanAlaska's Kimberlite Targets

(TSXV: CVV) (OTCQB: CVVUF) (FSE: DH7N), ("CanAlaska" or the "Company") is pleased to report that De Beers' exploration team is preparing to start drilling kimberlite targets at the Company's West Athabasca diamond project. De Beers' recently completed detailed airborne surveys over the diamond project area in the western Athabasca confirmed the presence of several near surface magnetic anomalies.

Airborne Surveys Identify Targets up to 10 Hectares

De Beers completed a detailed low level airborne survey over the Athabasca diamond project claims using Fond Du Lac as a base of operations. The survey provided significantly better definition of anomaly outlines and identified the presence of various lobes in the case of complex anomalies.

The majority of the magnetic anomalies coincide with lakes, or are in swamps (see photo). The anomalies or clusters of anomalies are up to 10 hectares (25 acres) in size, comparable to many of Canada's diamond deposits. Some of the anomalies in the centre and south areas of the trend appear to be drillable before winter.

A drill program is scheduled to start at the end of this August and continue into mid-October to test a selection of the accessible land targets. Drilling of the remaining targets that are located under lakes are planned for winter 2017. All drillcore will be shipped to De Beers' facilities for detailed logging, sampling, and mineral processing.

(TSX-V: CVV; OTCQB: CVVUF; Frankfurt: DH7N), ("CanAlaska" or the "Company") is pleased to report that it has signed a property option agreement with Canterra Minerals Corporation (TSX-V: CTM) ("Canterra") for Canterra to acquire up to a 70% interest in the West Carswell property (the "Property") located in the western Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan.


The West Carswell property comprises approximately 4,800 hectares within the west Athabasca Kimberlite trend and is located 10 km northwest of the Cluff Lake Uranium Mine in the Athabasca Basin. The Property encompasses six discrete magnetic anomalies derived from a survey flown in 2010 for the Saskatchewan Geological Survey. These six targets exhibit discrete magnetic lows and are characteristic of magnetic features, thought to be kimberlite pipes, intruding into the thick Athabasca sandstone sequence. A high resolution airborne magnetics survey encompassing 1,770 line km has been commissioned for the property by Canterra.

Makena to Resume Drilling on Large Gravity Target on West Patterson Property

Makena Resources Inc. has scheduled the next phase of drilling at the West Patterson prospect in the Athabasca basin of Saskatchewan for early August. $CVVUF +700% last 6mos., yet message boards & tweets about them is almost non-existent! Doesn't make any sense to me. Anyways, I wish had found this much earlier I did take up a starter position today @ $.70 area. Even though it is up 700% this year, it has room to easily run way higher after this pullback. As a matter of fact it could become a 10 bagger again from this entry level at $.70 and soon if these early sample results show even more promise, followed by great drilling results. I may have missed the best opportunity to get the cheapest shares, but I'm sure not going to miss the 2nd opportunity that at the very least, offers a 50% return by getting back to its previous level a month ago. And I haven't even spoke about their huge uranium interest that is world class! Like I said, this has to be the best kept secret, as far as ihub message boards. Cheers!

New high-resolution airborne magnetic survey planned to define targets in preparation for drilling

Vancouver, British Columbia, June 22, 2016 -- CanAlaska Uranium Ltd. "the Company" (TSX-V: CVV; OTCQB: CVVUF; Frankfurt: DH7N) is pleased to report that De Beers' exploration team has collected over 100 samples for kimberlite indicator mineral (KIM) processing from the West Athabasca project. The samples of glacial gravels were collected from eskers within the target area.

These samples will now be processed in De Beers laboratories to establish further evidence for kimberlite intrusives associated with the magnetic anomalies staked by CanAlaska. These striking anomalies were identified from processing data from the Saskatchewan Government Geological Survey/Geological Survey of Canada airborne magnetics program carried out in 2010.

Atomredmetzoloto’s (ARMZ) recent buyout of Uranium One (TSX:UUU) is the latest strategic move in Russia’s quest to dominate the world’senergy markets. The world’s largest producer of crude oil and second-largest producer of natural gas, Russia also holds demi-god status in the nuclear power industry and has aggressively been staking out a position in the uranium industry.

In 2010, ARMZ acquired a 51.4-percent majority stake in the Canada-based producer, which holds projects in Kazakhstan, Australia and the US. Earlier this month, the Russian company offered $1.3 billion to buy up the remaining shares; it plans to take the uranium miner private.

Investors have been hitting the message boards to share their thoughts on the deal, with many decrying what they view as too low a price at a time when most feel that the uranium market is at the precipice of an upswing. For others, the deal is yet another positive signal that industry heavies like Russia’s ARMZ know we’re at a bottom and the time is ripe for picking up assets at bargain prices.

“The whole sector is currently undervalued, and the timing by ARMZ is exceptional as they are buying assets at the bottom of the market,” Marin Katusa, chief energy investment strategist at Casey Research, explained to Uranium Investing News in an interview.

“It’s a smart move by the Russians in my view,” Mark Lackey, executive vice president of CHF Investor Relations, told Uranium Investing News. “They’ve determined by looking at the market conditions that uranium prices will go higher and right now is a very good time for acquiring assets.”
