Business Summary
Battery Technologies, Inc. engages in the licensing, development, and commercialization of its proprietary rechargeable alkaline manganese RAM™ battery system. The RAM™ system is commercially available in AA, AAA, C, and D sizes, as well as original equipment manufacturer and battery pack configurations. RAM™ batteries can be used in any battery operated device that uses disposable alkaline or zinc carbon batteries and in any low to medium drain device that currently uses other rechargeable batteries as sold in the marketplace. The company has license agreements in place with American, Korean, Malaysian, and Canadian licensees. These licensees manufacture and distribute their own brands of RAM™ batteries. Battery Technologies also commercializes its products through the Battery Technologies Sweden, a wholly owned subsidiary that is engaged in the sale, marketing, and distribution of battery and energy related products to European markets. The company was founded in 1936.
