What has the world become, lunatics on stocktwit with trying to say this is going to come back or they're going to get something.
Are the shorts able to keep all the money???
Don't have to cover?
If you are short, yes.
The next step is to find your cost basis for the shares that vanished from your account. Those are your losses.
We were expecting it, just didn't know exactly when. The most important thing is the next step.
AVCTQ: bankruptcy PLAN effective. All shares cancelled. The stock was up 20% to .18 on 295,000 shares volume.
Somebody knew the stock was to be cancelled and ran it up to sell before share cancellation.
I'll bet the buyers have sore bums.

AVCTQ, $0.12. Going to $$. High as $19.8. Delisted from NASDAQ. O/S: 30 m. Extremely low!
Yes, and i saw the precations and warnings. Not even arguing the grim side you cited. Not suggesting anything for anyone else. There is just to much that didn't make sense.
Haven't you been reading the docket? Do you know what a docket is? Do you know where to find it? They are trying to sell the company.
I got that, but it according to the 8k filed that this was filed under a chapter 11. How this ends up is suggested, but not etched in stone as far as the details.
They are trying to sell the company to pay the secured creditors. If there is anything left over it goes to the unsecured creditors. There is a committee of unsecured creditors fighting over the scraps.
They can't file Chapter 11 just to reorganize.
Are you saying they aren't in chapter 11 BK, or I don't understand chapter 11 being used for reorganization.
Bullshit. How often have you had one of your companies go through a Chapter 11. Something tells me you haven't.
Unless someone is taking your shares, they will have value as the company continues to run.
If there is any evidence that the stock market has gone in that direction of taking peoples share's without their say so I would like to see it. I have been in situations of my broker taking what they called worthless shares because a company didn't exist anymore which I am still fighting, but I have other so called worthless shares that are still there.
Nothing has changed here except a company coming out of Chapter 11 more healthy than they went in. I have many sub penny stocks in my portfolio.
The company will emerge from bankruptcy, but shareholders are getting zero.
I have been looking at this a different way. It was a chapter 11, not a chapter 7. They are reorganizing to stay in business. Yep we didn't get the speculated price BO as was supposed, but then it was speculated only. ATT was the only big name in the filings, and who is say they still aren't connected. Come the 31st the Q should come off, and start moving ahead.
I am not selling, but buying.
No surprise there. Glad I got rid of this junk.
AVCT changed to AVCTQ, bankruptcy. Delisted from the Nasdaq to the OTC:

No entry. Exit now.
With Bankruptcy lurking, Any Chance for a "Dead Cat Bounce" Soon?
If Yes, What are Good Entry/Exit Points?
wish id have been brave 3 days ago and shorted this
Correction “your analysis is spot on”
The analysis is spot on. I had great hopes for this stock until today. It’s over.
I glanced at the financials and there is next to no chance that equity survives BK.
There’s nothing good about bankruptcy.
If not tomorrow very soon.
This will drop like a rock tomorrow
totally sick move, almost FULL recovery
amazing
except for those that got shook out for a LO$$
$AVCT: Nicely done...... i was hoping or 0.17 entry
Never came about.
But ya, yyou got a round tripper on the day............ MUY BUENO TRABAJO, MUCHACHO !
GO $AVCT
AH and Premarket should tell the story. Bed Bath 2.0 ??? https://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=AVCT&ty=c&ta=1&p=d
Dead cat bounce in progress. I’m out.
Just traders. Long term price is zero.
AVCT Looks like this stock wants to keep going higher -. on the way back to the green area.
imo
Moral of the story - don't play with turds, especially when they are still wet. Let it dry out a bit, show a little patience.
SEC CHAPTER 11 BANKRUPTCY FILING , WTF
Another green day! Looking good.
Nice close! Now we need a suitor with a huge bid, Microsoft perhaps? Holding for much more.
It represents the value of one share that you are holding now, on a pre-split basis, though the share price was never that high. $42 worth of AVCT stock (10 shares at $4.20) at its peak this year is now 1 share worth about $1. That's the best way I can explain it.
For Some of Us Newbie Shareholders of AVCT, Can someone here explain the Actual 52 wk High-Low Factoring in the Reverse Split...Was the 52 Week High Actually about $42 Dollars according to Post Split?
Did Stock Price Actually Crash from a High of $42 Dollars?
(Or does the $42 Dollar Price have to be Divided by 15 or something? That would be a Forward Split in that case...then why are We reading about a 15:1 Reverse Split?)
Best Wishes,
Gratzi
This is holding up better than I expected. Could be another leg up coming.
$1.17 is my break even point. My last trade here sucked. Let’s see if I can get some green this time.
