We must be the only stock that has a big buy by an insider but the PPS goes straight down ever since the announcement !
Michael
Anñdddd.... another 1.37 million wasted of patent life buyout premium
It's nice isn't it
Amrn investors will need a new medication to deal with PTSD whenever they hear the name Alex denner. Nightmares are made of this stuff
Lololol
I don't really know. I'm not sure he can. And even if he does attempt to, I suspect the SP would get bid up considerably. So that could possibly work out OK. But that's all sort of speculation.
Truthfully, I don't really enjoy speculating about all the financial engineering stuff (when it has to do with my investment). I much prefer focusing on the operation, the science, and how Denner, et.al. might coordinate a "win" through an honest deal. And I would *love* to see some positive scientific outcomes (ie. BRAVE, MITIGATE, FDC, MND-2119, etc.). Unfortunately, all the silence and the real poor SP showing has forced me to pay more attention to what Denner might be attempting, in order to protect my investment (not that there is much I can do)....or even take advantage of it.
I just have this nagging feeling that Denner doesn't care too much about the science and future of Vascepa, but rather cares more about how wrangle a profit for his investors.
Do you think his goal is to take this private? I am starting to think that.
Wow, put two on ignore and cleaned up 80 percent of useless posts.
Seve me, Seve me please Seve me! I see people.... everyone in my life is Jon!
DAR53,
Thank you for your reply.
Like you I am hoping for a catalyst that will positively affect the share price. And hopefully one that has a longer lasting effect.
Many here are significantly under water (myself included) and hope to get to a point that we can feel comfortable getting out.
For me break even would look ok.
GLTA as you said.
Another day in September 🙂

Monk, as much as I appreciate posts from both you and NS, among others, I have to say that my feelings about some of the nutty posts parallel yours rather than NS's, as I do not find much entertainment from them. They have to be willfully coming here to post and must have nothing better to do.
What do you mean? Do you need people to show their portfolio?
I can, but can you?
no you do not jon you are a liar you own nothing at all.
I was logged on at home and saw loser jon say he put my on ignore lol. I have had that non amrn holder on ignore a long time.
NS
I know that, and thank you. I'm here for knowledge, information and exchange with liked minded people
who believe that this will all be over relatively soon and we will profit more than we can currently anticipate.
Monk, I am here to talk to people like you. Investors in this company. I post as much information as I can find. The morons are just entertaining.
Sleven,
Agree. I had to put Steve 333 on ignore. What a bloody nut
NS
Glad you can distill some entertainment from it. Trolling and ignorance just piss me off.
This is terrible. I have around 20k AMRN stocks. Will AMRN be delisted?
Monk, I appreciate the advice. I became a mod to control the off topic conversation. Someone needs to. these morons actually provide me with some entertainment.
Sleven,
NS
Drop being a mod so you can put 90% of these nimrods on ignore.
I have 90% on ignore and I find I'm much calmer these days.
The competition continues.
Sleven,
My bets
Holt quits within a year
Sp hits new all time low of .65 by December
Alex denner never shows his face or speaks on behalf of amrn ever again because of the shame
Vascepa eventually sold at auction to the highest bidder in chapter 11 within 5 years
Brave gets the good old sweep under the rug
Wow. Today was quite a spectacle. Competitive stupidity.
Sleven,
People here keep sticking up for Alex denner the billionaire. Let him speak for himself then!
If he is listening, reach out to shareholders.
You see, he has 0 interest in keeping g you guys updated. For all we k ow he died right after the proxy. Prove otherwise and I don't mean share buys. Anyone who works for him can do that on his behalf
You suffer from a bad case of confirmation bias. Good luck! :)
MUH HANDS OF BEE PEE
I am guessing we hit .85 tomorrow at some point it may rebound some but my guess is the worst is not over. There is nothing going on to keep this from dropping even further since it is in a free fall.
Maybe he's getting it cheap enough for the other royalty company he's involved with to make an offer and consolidate. You know... the one involved with GSK on a few drugs?
Who sold Lovaza before it went generic again?
Do you think his goal is to take this private? I am starting to think that.
Ah, OK. Like MS possibly? I feel like there was something going on there. At one point MS owned 22M shares, and then sold 10 of them. Which was around the time that Sarissa's filings started looking odd.
I can only imagine what tomorrow will bring. Denner clearly is up to something with the stock. We of course will be the last to know though.
He reports he has a controlling or shared interest in the shares. Not sole ownership. He may not even directly own all of the 29M reported shares. Someone else could but committed the voting rights to Denner. Opens up a lot of trading freedom that an 'insider' might not have with those other funds. Especially overseas outside of SEC oversight.
Do you realize you have made 24 posts in the past 24hrs, most of which are useless criticism. You truly have taken the place of your buddy John H.
What would be the reporting loophole? I assume it's because some of his entities are Cayman Island funds.
Reporting loophole. He's doing what everyone with tons of LLCs do... hide illegal activity.
I think without a doubt Denner is shorting. Retail is of no interest to him that is clear but all I really care about is knowing how low he will allow this thing to go. Will he let it sit under a buck for 30 days? Is he ultimate goal to drive it down so low retail will except him taking it private? Hard to know but he is clearly in this for him and him alone. The lack of any communication is all you really need to know.
Great question.
One thing I have wondered about - why did he not have to report the holdings in his other LLC's when he shifted the holdings over there? Since he would have technically "controlled" those funds, he should have to report on them. But for two quarters, it only showed 4+ million total shares reported. That's always had me wondering.
Looks like John tried to type the exact same lies he typed months ago again today and I guess he thought nobody would realize he already told this exact same lie at least twice. He is not very bright as he thinks he constants lies will somehow get people to sell. The dude is a total clown.
Bearish
I’m a 70 year old retiree who has done well over the years…sometimes taking risks on initial offerings for companies with excellent potential. Amarin was the reverse..to me it looked like was beaten down to the point where the product and the price ($4) was attractive. Then when Sarissa got involved and finally took over, it looked even better at $1.75. Welp… 30,000 shares and $75,000 later…I consider my Amarin holdings basically worthless. When a company’s liquidation value is close to its market capitalization, there’s a problem. This may be a product that nobody wants. They might as well be selling Walkmans or 8-track players. Anybody still bullish on this tragedy of a company is in need of therapy.

How much has he sold to his off shore tax haven LLCs "at a loss"?
How much has he made shorting Amarin? Would banking a loss in one year help him in a year with big gains in other stocks in his portfolio? When he sold 19M shares from his LP to various LLC's when the share price was just over a buck, what'd that do to his basis? How much did he book in losses at that time against other gains in his $1B portfolio? Stop thinking this is some dude's personal net worth taking a hit like yours does when you buy a a stock. It's a $1B fund that pays its principles 2%/20% of the AUM/Gains on an annual basis no matter what it does. It went up last year, BTW. Denner's only risk is his investors pulling their cash out of his fund. None of them care about one line item.
Could Denner be shorting to keep pushing the price down, and simultaneously accumulating at lower and lower prices?
He could then slowly unwind his short positions, even if he loses a few bucks on the way back up. Or better yet, could he buy back the long shares that he shorted in a dark pool trade?
There's obviously something at play here, but just trying to figure it out.
We do not know that I thought there was talk of him moving the shares over to other companies etc to lower his cost basis. I highly dougnt his cost basis is that high anymore or even close.
1.37 million in buyout premium lost today under denner rule.
Sarissa’s 29.3M shares is above $3.50 avg. Correct? It’s actually $3.84
You think if they had even a little good news they would release it to stop the bleeding. Guess not.
Thanks for the suggestion. What’s your playbook big spender?
