here we are cycling around a buck. News has had no impact. Time will get this where it needs to go. Hopefully they are using the money wisely. So DPW Lending paid 1.50/share the other day, must be worth at least that you'd think, then again, it was DPW Lending, incest is best. Need a nice spike so we can write some options, right now its not worth it, there's hardly any premium
World changing implications for a buck?
What’s up here?
Manipulation…..
I actually got filled on 20 x May 2.50 calls at a nickel, that is I bought them not sold them. I figured it doesnt get cheaper than that for a lottery ticket.
Anyway this is just plain stuck. I hope they can get some kind of news out in the next month that moves the stock. As a reminder a good chunk of the float is locked up, it shouldnt take a lot to move this.
here we are in the doldrums along with NILE and the other companies. I have been buying down here with the hope and belief that these two drugs, or at least AL001 will be a game changer. Can't write any options down here, too risky, will write them on a nice spike. In fact I am trying to buy the May 2.50 calls for 5 cents, it's so cheap I may as well be a buyer at that price as I made a ton of money on the other side of that trade in the earlier months.
So true! So far a 1 trick pony
ouch...where's the news, PRs, updates.....??
I cant predict the future, nobody can. I wouldnt have sold all since I have long term gains. I never expected it to get near these prices, look at the Executive chairman he didnt sell any shares, and in fact kept buying from 10 bucks on down. If he doesnt know the value, then who would. I honestly dont know how many and how much was sold by private investors, but I stand by my decisions. With all the options I wrote I am riding additional free 10K shares, so I will make the most of it, better than just holding, but yeah I could have sold at higher levels, but not 7 bucks by the time I got my shares it was between 2.50 and 2.75, so there was no way in the world I would have sold anywhere under 3 bucks or even 5 bucks.
You're funny. So you don't wish you sold at 7. That is a good strategy. Don't sell at 7 and ride to $1.50. Makes a lot of sense. LMFAO
I still have all my 62500 shares (which by the way I didnt pay for), plus ones I have bought on the open market, what is not clear about that? If those people sold their shares, then that's their problem, they'll miss out on gains of a lifetime. In the meantime I'll raise cash for other endeavors while holding, I dont mind. Follow the Executive Chairman.
Forget it there dude. You're scrambling. I'll repeat. Private placement holders sold the crap out of it. Except one who wrote covered calls LOL
I am not following you, THEY WERE RESTRICTED hence I couldnt trade them, they become unrestricted after 4 months of going public, at which time they became freely traded and covered calls can be written against them. In fact I have even bought some back in fear of this thing just going ballistic, since so many of them are written for the May expiration.
When you say good try what do you mean by that?
Good try. If the shares were restricted, there is no firm in America that would allow you to write covered calls against them if you understand the mechanics of a covered call. Very good try
First of all, I was not allowed to sell shares at anything probably over 4 bucks b/c they were restricted and I didnt have them. Second of all I never said I made money overall, what I said was that I generated cashed which I really was able to use for other opportunities while holding the stock as collateral for writing calls. Re-read what I wrote. I am long Alazamend, its going to the moon, I just dont know the timeframe
So I can tell you since at one time I was a professional trader, it would be virtually impossible to watch a stock go from 35 to 1 and claim you made more money by selling covered calls as opposed to selling your common. Looking at it another way. If you have 3,000,000 shares and didn't make 1,050,000 selling covered calls. You still lost. I would virtually guarantee you I'm right.
Not me, I traded it at various prices and wrote hundreds of calls against my position to raise cash and its indeed been a huge cash cow. Problem right now is the price is so low but we'll get another spike and I will write calls to bring in cash. It's all good.
I can see by the action that private placement holders are selling the crap out of a severely bloated stock.
Somehow I knew you were going to use the vaccine example. There was a worldwide pandemic and The government gave billions to the vaccine companies. You are very lucky If they get an advisory panel meeting by 2025
Where have you been, they swept thru the COVID vaccine in no time, if its important enough they will make it happen. Nothing to do with the SEC.
Topline data for AL001 was reported on December 17, 2021 and we are working towards conducting a Phase II multiple-ascending doze study during the second quarter of 2022.
On September 30, 2021, we announced that we received a written response from the FDA to our meeting request relating to our Type B Pre Investigational New Drug (“IND”) application pursuing a combined Phase I/Phase II study as a path for our planned clinical development of AL002. We plan on submitting an IND during the second quarter of 2022.
THey are fast tracking it through. Sophisticated investors are buying the living crap out of this, this will be a 50 dollar stock, probably a lot more as they license the tar out of it, or they just sell the company outright.
Found money and for a great cause
That is an unsophisticated response. Every compound goes through extensive clinical trials before it is approved. The SEC does not have a sweep program. What you are saying is a drug for lung cancer gets swept through. Complete and utter BS
this is alzheimers for al002 and depression lithium replacement for al001, what are you kidding me? These are major diseases, the FDA will sweep this thru so fast your head will spin.
How is a company that is 4-7 years away from a drug approval with this market cap cheap?
made small purchase at 1.82 in this downdraft. Sure it could go lower, but this is very cheap right now and will surely get another upward spike, dont know when, but it will happen.
You are making a valid point as far as if the indications go well beyond Alzheimers and there is off label use, then the value is fair. I don't about much higher. A company 4-6 years away from an NDA shouldn't be worth $500 million.
I personally think it should be much higher and believe it will be...We are not talking toe fungus here we are maybe talking about a real positive solution to address a number of serious issues facing many including Alzheimer's
I have a question for anyone that can answer it. I am an extremely experienced healthcare industry investor. I've been investing for decades. Have been extremely successful in the healthcare sector. I was an early stage investor in immensely successful companies. I have always looked at it that a phase 1 company should be valued somewhere between 50 and 100 million. Phase 2 between 100 and 300. Of course, it also depends on what your indication is. A drug for arthritis would command a much higher market cap than a drug for toe fungus. Once you get in to phase 3 it could be 300 million on up. Right now with a market cap of 200 million, this company may be overvalued by a significant range. Why does anyone think this company is fairly valued at very early stage clinical trials. Admittedly, I don't know much about this company but have been following it based on the space that they are operating in.
So……if you have a new treatment regimen with another soon to arrive on the books then what? Who manufactures them? Who markets them? Who pays a lot to buy the products and all that they do?
What is ALZN worth? To save people from the living torture of Alzheimer’s the sky is the limit………ponder this
definitely a great great price to get it, people will look back over time and kick themselves. Its so cheap that I am not writing any calls against my position until we get a nice spike in price to drive up the premiums, ideally I'd like the 7.50 call, far enough away that we make a ton of money on the stock regardless.
Easiest buy right now. Load the boat and have no worries!
Its all good, dont underestimate Alzamend. At the right time it will explode. We're not there which is why I am writing calls against my position that will get riskier over time.
Fat boy Ault -CEO of DPW (now Bitnile) is pumping his investment in ALZN on Twitter..and then puts out a press release to show his tweet. Lol
took advantage of this commotion to write some January 5 calls but leaving room for more of these if the stock has another nice spike.
What’s the float on this turd? Edit: Float = 39,130,000 12%
Its about time...news on the horizon this month. Once it hits will blow right past $3.00
I'm buying options on that
