(NASDAQ: AAII), a leading provider of aircraft maintenance and modification services to military customers, today announced the operating results of its first quarter ended March 31, 2008. Net income for the first quarter of 2008 was $0.8 million ($0.20 per share) compared to net income for the first quarter of 2007 of $0.9 million ($0.22 per share). Revenue from continuing operations for the first quarter of 2008 was $21.1 million versus revenue of $22.4 million in the first quarter of 2007, a decrease of 5.8%. Income from continuing operations for the first quarter of 2008 was $0.8 million compared to a loss from continuing operations of $0.3 million for the first quarter of 2007.
